We are almost to the end of this Crockett Cup, and four tag teams are left vying for the prize in The National Wrestling Alliance. The Holy Grail of EC3 and Pretty Boy Smooth has been the sleeper team, but they will go up against the seasoned Colóns. Also, Mike Knox and Trevor Murdoch want to be the team that repeats as Cup winners, but standing in their way are the runners-up from last year, The Immortals.
Who will advance to claim the Crockett Cup?
We’ll find out later tonight as we come to you from the legendary 2300 Arena in downtown Philadelphia, PA. Joe Galli, Danny Dealz, and special guest David Crockett have the call, as your First Match of the Night is a…

Semifinal Match for The Crockett Cup: The Holy Grail (#6) (Pretty Boy Smooth and EC3, with Pastor C-Lo) vs. The Colóns (#2) (Primo and Epico)
Smooth and Primo start, and the Urban Playboy is throwing his weight around. Now Primo gets up on the turnbuckles to get some height on his opponent. Smooth humors him as they lock up, but gravity is Primo’s downfall. He goes for a tag, and Epico backs off and “tags” a fan at ringside. As Primo cannot believe what he’s seeing, even the Philly crowd agrees as they chant, “That’s not cool! That’s not cool!”

Primo and Smooth shake hands, but it’s apparent that the Urban Playboy has other ideas as he slams him down. A tag to EC3, and the Overlord and Smooth cut the ring in half. He whips Primo to the ropes, and Epico pulls him out so they can figure out a different strategy. EC3 goes after them, and then…

We return and see a reply where EC3 gets thrown into the ring post outside, and now the Colóns are in control, working over the Overlord until EC3 stops the shenanigans with a STO.

He kicks off Epico and gets the hot tag to Smooth, and he is a Playboy en Fuego. He tags back to EC3 as he throws him at Primo to get the cutter assist. Another cutter to cover, and Epico breaks the count. Primo grabs a chair, and C-Lo grabs it away. The ref catches the pastor in the act and, despite C-Lo’s protestations, he gets ejected. As the ref deals with that distraction, the Colóns give a couple of low blows to EC3’s…err, mini Lords, and they cover to for the pin and the win.

Your Winners, and Advancing to The Crockett Cup Finals: The Colóns
There’s a recap when Max the Impaler chased down The Lost and got a fireball for their troubles, courtesy of Father James Mitchell.
Alex Misery cuts a promo and says The Lost are found, and they challenge anyone to face them.
Meanwhile, back at Uncle Thrill’s Watering Hole, it’s The Country Gentleman with the NWA Territories President, Joe Cazana, alongside Big Strong Mims, “Thrillbilly” Silas Mason, Anthony Franks, Hunter, Kenzie Paige, and Tommy Henry. They’re getting ready for an autograph signing, and Joe believes everyone wants his autograph. AJ can’t believe they have to share oxygen with everyone here.
Henry is suspecting there is chicanery afoot with the Cazanas, and Paige says to act like professionals and to get it together, like she is, as the NWA Women’s Champion. She even badmouths Franks and Hunter to act like they want to be there, and you can certainly tell who wears the pants in that family.
Mims and Mason are getting into who is the better man, especially with signing autographs.
Colby Corino, Rhino, and NWA World Heavyweight Champion Thom Latimer each make the case for who will come out of Philadelphia with the Ten Pounds of Gold.
Now for your Main Event, and it is another…
Semifinal Match for The Crockett Cup: The Immortals (#4) (Odinson and Kratos) vs. Mike Knox and Trevor Murdoch (#1) (with Eric Smalls)
Dealz calls this a “Saturday Night payday at the roadhouse in Knoxville,” which has to be a fancy way of saying this match will be a “barn burner.”
Odinson and Knox start, and they lock up to a standstill with neither man getting an advantage. Then there’s a dropkick by Odinson, followed by a knee drop, and then an Asgardian uppercut to the back.

We then get a tag to Murdoch and Kratos, and these men are no strangers as they lay in the heavy lumber.

An eye poke by Murdoch as he takes a page out of the Dirtiest Player in the Game©, Ric Flair (Woo!), but Kratos comes back with a slam and a splash. He charges the corner and eats a boot to the mouth, and Murdoch follows with a clothesline.

Now, he and Knox cut the ring in half as the Most Feared is in Peril. Kratos gets an enzugiri to Murdoch for a hot tag, and then…
Ads (but it’s a quick plug for Rhino, which is full of gore. Gore! Gore!! Then, Thom Latimer cuts another promo explaining to both Corino and Rhino that next week, he will still come out of Philadelphia as the NWA World Heavyweight Champion, and my Gods, can we get them back on PPVs so we can see this sooner!)
Anyway, we come back, and Odinson goes for a charge, and Murdoch dodges, but then he regroups and nails an Asgardian uppercut in the corner from up the top turnbuckle.

The Immortals go for their Immortality finisher until Knox drops Kratos off the top, and Murdoch wriggles out. They give the high/low to Odinson for the cover, but the ref is on top of things as he points out that he is not the legal man. Knox and Murdoch get hot at the ref, like the rest of the Philly crowd. They set up Kratos, and he counters by leaping at the last second and giving a stunner to Knox. He covers, and Murdoch knocks out the ref and gives a low blow to Kratos.
Smalls is bewildered by what he sees as Murdoch grabs a poncho from under the ring and tries to choke Kratos. Now Smalls gets in and tries to talk sense to Murdoch, and he finally lets up…only to give him a boot to the mush.

This draws serious boos in the arena, as Knox pulls the poncho away to back his tag partner up. He gently picks up Smalls… only to choke him out as well with the same poncho.

As they deal with their former little buddy, the ref comes to, sees the tag by Kratos to Odinson, and the Asgardian rams Murdoch into Knox to knocks him out of the ring. Odinson gets the roll up on Murdoch as the ref counts for one, two, and three.

Your Winners via Pinfall, and Advancing in The Crockett Cup: The Immortals
Odinson and Kratos celebrate their win, as Knox and Murdoch are left perplexed, as their chances of a repeat at the Cup are dashed as the show draws to a close.
