The National Wrestling Alliance is heating up in The Crockett Cup as we head to the quarter finals. Mike Knox and Trevor Murdoch are looking to repeat as champions. Standing in their way is the new tag team of Mike Mondo and Slade, and they want to give the veterans a gut check in spectacular fashion.
Who will advance in the 2025 Crockett Cup?
That’ll be later in the Main Event as we come to you from the legendary 2300 Arena in downtown Philadelphia, PA. Joe Galli, Billy Corgan, and Danny Dealz have the call, as your First Match of the Night is a…
Chain Match: Wrecking Ball Legursky vs. Jay Bradley
As Bradley walks down the ramp for his entrance, Legursky runs up from behind and attacks. The former friends battle up the ramp and Legursky slams him down hard. The ref finally interjects and gets the chain on each of the competitor’s hand and now the match officially starts.
Like Miley Cyrus, Legursky comes in like a Wrecking Ball (oh, and enjoy that ear worm, folks!)

It isn’t long until Bradley manages to utilize the chain, and chokes him with it using the ropes as leverage. The Boss then looks under the ring, pulls out steel chairs, then rams Legursky into the post. They brawl on the outside and each man connects with massive headbutts before throwing each other into the guardrails.
Bradley stacks up the chairs on Legursky, climbs up the top turnbuckle and lands a Vader bomb for a two count.

“America’s Favorite Heavyweight” starts to fire up and now he’s throwing those haymakers and a then punctuates it with a huge body slam for a count of two. Then he picks up Bradley with a steel chair behind his back and slams him in the center of the ring, followed by a big splash for the pin and the win.

Your Winner via Pinfall: Wrecking Ball Legursky
Corgan calls it “bowling shoe ugly.” Granted it’s not CM Punk/MJF on the ultra violence scale of a chain match but it got the job done, and the Philly crowd is satiated.
Now it’s time for the…
Crockett Cup Quarterfinal Match: The Colóns (Primo and Epico Colón)(#2) vs. Daisy Kill and Talos (#7)
Talos is limping a bit after his last match with Zyon and Frank. Plus, both men are a little heated heading to the ring. As for The Colóns, Epico has an armband with “Sabu” written to honor the late ECW legend.
Primo and Talos start the match. While the big man still has power, his injury is making his mobility a problem. Before he gears up for the choke slam, Kill yells at his tag partner to tag him in and they show Primo a good time (Good Time!).

After some ads, The Colóns are in the drivers seat as they target the bad wheel of Talos and show off their tag prowess. After Epico points to the sky like a Homicidal, Suicidal, Genocidal legend and runs the ropes, Talos cuts him down with a chop as he stands from his knees.

He picks up Primo for a slam, but his leg buckles. The Colóns ensure that Talos is in Peril (and that’s no Tall Tale) but the big man won’t go down as he head butts both Primo and Epico.

It looks like he is getting his second wind until Daisy blind tags in. Talos looks on incredulously, as Kill tries to get momentum going. It’s all for nought as The Colóns knock Talos off the mat, and then give Kill a straitjacket lungblower, followed by a frog splash for the pin to keep him down.

Your Winners via Pinfall and Advancing in The Crockett Cup: Primo and Epico Colón
The Slimeballz cut a promo bemoaning the fact they were eliminated by The Immortals. They said they got lucky and hope Odinson and Kratos win, as they promise to take them to Slimetown.
Next week, “Thrillbilly” Silas Mason and Hammerstone hype up their upcoming match next week, and why is it not happening now?!
In any case, time for the Main Event, and it is another…
Crockett Cup Quarterfinal Match: Mike Knox and Trevor Murdoch (with Eric Smalls)(#1)vs. Mike Mondo and Slade (#9)
There is a whole lotta bad attitude and tons of beef in the squared circle, literally and figuratively.

Slade and Murdoch start off and already the former NWA World Heavyweight champion does not Fear the Gear. He gives some chops in the corner, until Slade nails him with a kick to the gut.

He runs the ropes but soon falls to a spinebuster by Murdoch. Now Knox comes in and there’s some double team action between the two NWA World Tag Team champions, but Slade won’t stay down. Knox continues to batter him down until Mondo clothesline him from the outside. He tags in and shows off his power Knox a vertical suplex for a two count.

Mondo and Slade has some double team moves and they cut the ring in half as Knox is in Peril. The big man fights up to a vertical base and manages a desperation running crossbody on Mondo. He crawls to his side and manages to get the hot tag to Murdoch and he becomes Captain Badass en Fuego on both men. He drills a Sky High bomb to Slade for a cover, but Mondo breaks the ref count. They throw Mondo out of the ring, and Knox and Murdoch deliver the high/low to Slade to cover for the one, two, and three.
