Lots of Vengeance, Villainy, and vying to be number one.
The National Wrestling Alliance has a lot of surprises in this episode. Six men want to be next in line for the NWA Junior Heavyweight Championship, and Hammerstone wants his pound of flesh on The Southern Six, starting with Kerry Morton. And in the main event, Aron Stevens and Carson Drake will test their mettle in tag team action against The Holy Grails of EC3 and Pretty Boy Smooth.
Once again, we come to you from The Paramount in Huntington, NY. Joe Galli and Danny Dealz have the call, and we start with your First Match of the Night, and it is a…

King Bee Match: Luke Kurtis, Slade, and Damian Fenrir vs. The Lost (Alex Misery, Crazzy Steve, and Lev, with Father James Mitchell)
While it is a six-man tag match, the winners will immediately go to a number one contender triple threat match to determine who will square off against Alex Taylor for the NWA World Jr. Heavyweight Title.
Got it? Good.
It’s technical prowess against unorthodox chaos, and The Lost are looking anything but cohesive at the start of the match. At one point, Lev is in Peril, and Kurtis and Fenrir blindside The Lost on the outside before he can make the tag. The other four men battle on the outside as Lev and Slade work in the ring. At one point, Misery stage dives on everyone outside the ring for a perfect strike. As for the action in the ring, Slade gets Lev in the Slade-lock (an ankle lock if you will), but he pushes him off for the hit tag to Steve, and he is en Fuego y Mas Loco
He rakes his eyes, and Slade with the Slade Slam (which is a variation of the Kryptonite Krunch or White Noise, depending on where you saw the move in which promotion), and He gets the pin for his team.
Your Winners: Luke Kurtis, Damien Fenrir, and Slade
Before we get to the second part of this match, we head to…
Austin Idol has big news and presents the Universal Heartthrob invitational for a shot at the Ten Pounds of Gold next week. Even Carson Drake helps his cousin LJ get a spot at the invitational at the behest of his “Aunt Linda and Uncle Vince,” even though, according to Drake, LJ is as dull as a spoon. Guess we’ll have to wait and see.
Now for your Triple Threat Portion of the match between…
Luke Kurtis vs. Damien Fenrir vs. Slade
We’re back, and Kurtis and Fenrir put the screws to Slade, and they toss him out of the ring. Now that he’s out, the stare down between Kurtis and Fenrir starts, and both men go for a series of roll-ups and near falls for the quick win, but neither gets the advantage. Slade returns to the squared circle and gives both men a ride with a double German suplex that showcases his power. Slade is an FTGSM (Fear The Gear Suplex Machine) and looks to Kurtis for the Slade Slam. He escapes and gives a running knee, and he pulls down the straps, yet Fenrir comes back with a springboard lariat that turns Kurtis inside out. All three men chop away, and he slaps the Slade Lock to Fenrir, but he is vulnerable to Kurtis, who comes from behind with a rear-naked choke with a grapevine to his midsection. Salde releases the hold and starts to fade until Fenrir nails a frog splash to break the submission. Fenrir ends it with a crucifix sitting powerbomb on Kurtis, earning him the spot.
Your Winner, and New Number One contender for the NWA Junior Heavyweight Championship: Damian Fenrir
Kerry Morton cuts a promo and says he is inevitable, and he defends his actions from a couple of months ago when he and Taylor interfered in Hammerstone’s match with “Thrillbilly” Silas Mason at The Crockett Cup, because they’re his boys. He says being in the ring with him gives him clout.
Earlier in the week, at The Paige House, Kenzie talks to her dad, Tommy Henry, about how there is nothing to the rumors about Kylie and her fiancé, Hunter, and she needs to be focused as they deliver the message. With that, Galli starts rolling with Kylie and Hunter to address the rumors. Galli with the hard questions, and they hold the line, proclaiming there is nothing going on.
With that, allow me an…
(Author’s Rant: For anyone wanting to be a journalist, you need to watch pro wrestling closely. Even Steven Johnson once recommended it. And people wonder why I’m so skeptical about relationships. But, I digress.)
Next up is…

Kerry Morton Vs. Hammerstone
Now, Morton is being billed as “Mr. Roku.” A little on the nose, but I’ll allow it.
As Hammerstone poses on the turnbuckles, Morton strikes, and we are off to the races, as The Rizz God does not let up until Your Boy Hammer. He manages to get a hip toss on Morton and then tackles him in each corner. He squeals for mercy before giving a kick to the midsection of Hammerstone, followed by a spinning neckbreaker for a two count. Hammer whips him to the ropes and rushes for a tackle, but he moves at the last second and hits the post shoulder-first. Outside the ring, Morton works over Hammerstone and then throws him to give some Garvin Stomps to his limbs. He follows with a neck snap into a cover, and Your Boy Hammer kicks out at two. Morton keeps wearing him down and gives an Eat Defeet, but still can’t stop Hammerstone. They trade blows until Hammer unloads a choke slam that knocks both men out.
Hammer starts to fire back, taking Morton for a ride with an overhead belly to belly suplex for two. He shoots him to the ropes, and there is a reversal as Morton hits a powerslam for two, and a Kiss It Goodbye finds the mark for one, two…oh, so close. Morton goes to the high rent district, and Hammerstone catches him, and they come crashing down with a huge superplex. A pump kick to a German suplex, and then he adds a standing powerbomb, but Morton kicks out. Hammerstone nails a knee to the face, and he goes for the Nightmare Pendulum, but Morton blocks with an inside cradle for a count of two. An elbow to the back of Hammerstone, and he collapses with a one-arm cover, yet Your Boy Hammer gets a boot on the ropes
Morton is in disbelief and calls for the Six to come out, but no one comes to his aid.
He attempts another Kiss it Goodbye and hits his knee on the turnbuckle. Hammerstone then sends him up and delivers The Nightmare Pendulum to end it.
Your Winner via Pinfall: Hammerstone
Aron Stevens and Carson Drake cut a promo, and Drake says, “Poor decisions make poor people.” That leads to Stevens adding to EC3 and Pretty Boy Smooth that they are in the ring with Simply the Best, and let that song carry you along.
Bryan Idol and Natalia Markova are walking along, and Idol asks if she saw his match with Ocasio for the TV title. She acknowledges she did and admits he’s on fire. He says this is Markova’s time to capture The Burke, and she agrees she is ready. Idol says she got her back. Along the way, they run into Dr. Viktor and Tiffany Nieves, and one of them looks uncomfortable being (I’ll let you guess which one was The Princesa in this segment).
Now for your Main Event between…
Aron Stevens and Carson Drake vs. The Holy Grail (EC3 and Pretty Boy Smooth with Pastor C-Lo)
C-Lo comes out and says TO THE FANS, “Welcome to the Garden of Eden. Welcome to your demise. Welcome to the Holy Grail!”
Not a bad intro, if I say so myself.
As they enter the ring, Stevens and Drake are in matching hot pink colors, and Stevens is rocking the one-shoulder singlet. Bobby “The Brain” Heenan, I hope you appreciate this from heaven.
The bell rings, and Drake and EC3 start. They grapple, and after a hip toss by The Overlord, he shows up the upstart. A tag to Stevens, and Drake gets a back body drop, and he slingshots the Manager of Champions into the ring. Stevens seems to be a little off his timing as he eats an atomic drop, and he and Smooth whip him to the ropes. A tag back to Drake and Smooth has his way, bouncing his head on the mat like a basketball.
A splash to the corner, with a tag back to EC3, who gives Drake a Thesz Press. He gets a clothesline over the top rope, and as he sees the Pastor, Drake channels his inner Guerrero, making it look like C-Lo took a swing at him. The ref admonishes the Pastor, who protests his involvement, and that leads to…
Ads (but this is different, as Colby Corino talks about his injuries and what led to his current condition, which we will learn next week. Also, Mike Mondo threatens to take the NWA National title from Big Strong Mims, since it’s Gut Check Time.)
We come back, and the beatings continue for Drake. EC3 gets a back elbow, and as he attempts to follow up, C-Lo trips him. The ref catches him in the act, and he is outta there. Smooth and EC3 protest, and Drake goes for a roll up for a count of two. He’s thrown to the corner as Stevens gets a blind tag and clotheslines EC3. He gets in the ref’s face, as Drake hits a flash DDT on the Overlord, and he covers for two. There’s a knee drop to the former champ and a dropkick to Smooth, and that places The Overlord in Peril. Once he gets the hot tag to Smooth and he is an Urban Playboy en Fuego. Stevens goes into his singlet for the loaded glove, and EC3 counters with a stunner. He dives at Drake and then rolls him back in the ring to a waiting Smooth for the final touch. Drake rakes the eyes, and at that moment, he gets pushed off and knocks EC3 off the mat. As the ref tries to restore order, Stevens comes back and knocks Smooth with the loaded glove, and that allows Drake to pick up the win in one, two, and three.
Your Winners via Pinfall: Carson Drake and Aron Stevens.
No matter how it ended, Stevens knows how to manage him, along with his protege, as the show closes.
