In the main event of tonight’s NJPW World Tag League tournament it was Bullet Club War Dogs (Yota Tsuji and Gabe Kidd) versus The House of Torture (Evil and Don Fale). You know this is going to be a wild one…and it was.
With such combustible elements it is no surprise that the fight goes to the floor before the bell even rings. Kidd and Fale, Tsuji and Evil, brawl through the crowd. Kidd whips Fale into three or four rows of chairs. Evil pitches a Young Lion into Tsuji. Fale passes by Dick Togo instructing him to put the boots to a downed Kidd. Togo looks confused, doesn’t seem to want any part of Kidd.
Evil hurls Kidd into the barricade chest first. Kidd wrestles a chair out of Evil’s hand breaking it over his back. Kidd sits Evil on a chair. He runs at him full steam but Evil gets up throwing the chair in his face. Evil nails Kidd with his solo Conchairto and then chokes him out with the chair. Fale begins arguing with Gedo who is on commentary. Fale accuses him of being biased.
When Kidd and Evil finally roll back in the ring Red Shoes rings the bell. Fale stomps on Kidd, chokes him over the bottom rop and stands on him to stop him from reaching his corner. Fale calls the cameraman over and gives him the finger.
Evil brings a t-shirt into the ring to choke out Kidd. Red Shoes see it and confiscates it. Evil pulls out a piece of rope or tape choking Kidd with that while Red Shoes’ back is turned. Once done, he throws it out of the ring.
Kidd is thrown to the floor. Togo smashes a turnbuckle pad off his back before rolling him back in. Through taking damage Kidd tags out. Tsuji powerbombs Evil for a two count. Tsuji lifts Kidd onto the second rope. Fale bulldozes his way into the corner picking up Tsuji for his Crucifix Powerbomb. Tsuji escapes. He low-bridges Fale to the floor. Tsuji has Evil in his sights for his spear. Togo slides a steel chair into the ring. Tsuji picks it up. As the official becomes involved, Evil pushes Tsuji into him. Togo and Evil put the boots to Tsuji and give him a Magic Killer. Kidd rushes in to save the match. Tsuji barely kicks out of Darkness Falls.
The House of Torture hold up Kidd so that Togo can do his chop to the crotch off the second rope. Tsuji has to break up the attempted pin. Evil takes Tsuji to the floor so that Fale can give Kidd the Grenade. Fale lifts Kidd up for the Crucifix Powerbomb. Tsuji’s running knee strike stops that. Kidd and Tsuji throw Fale off the ropes. Fale runs right through them. Punch, kicks, a double head butt strike, double knees strike Fale as he is double teamed. Tsuji dives onto and takes out Evil on the floor. A spear from Tsuji and a clothesline from Kidd pins Fale.
At the end of the night though, Toru Yano and Boltin Oleg took over the top position in A Block having won two matches in a row.

House of Torture (Yujiro Takahashi and Chase Owens) versus Bishamon (Hirooki Goto and Yoshi-Hashi) – A Block
Bishamon is looking to bounce back after their previous loss. Owens gets in Goto’s face right away, pie-facing him. Yujiro attacks Goto from behind. The House double-teams him until Hashi pulls Yujiro outside throwing him against the barricade. Goto slams Hashi onto Owens. Bishamon gives Yujiro the ‘War Drums’ treatment. Owens clocks Goto with haymaker after haymaker. When the official tries to stop him Owens shoves him away. The House cuts Goto off from Hashi. He absorbs all sorts of damage until he tags Hashi in.
Hashi explodes on everyone getting a two count on Yujiro with a neckbreaker. Yuiro ends all of that with guillotine on the top rope though. Owens deals a solo “War Drums” on Hashi’s back. Goto kicks out of Owens’ C-Trigger, running knee smash. Hashi prevents Owens from delivering a package piledriver to Goto with a running, spinning neckbreaker. Owens takes a super kick to the face by Hashi and a backbreaker from Goto. Owens is pinned by a Shoto.
Winners: Bishamon (Hirooki Goto and Yoshi-Hashi)
Taichi and Satoshi Kojima versus Toru Yano and Boltin Oleg – A Block
Kojima is tagged in. Yano goes around in circles before tagging out to the amusement of the fans. More of Oleg respecting the rules by breaking cleanly with Kojima. One senses that will be their theme. Yano the rule-breaker and Oleg wrestling by the book. Kojima shoulder tackles both Yano and Oleg down. Oleg though bounces off the ropes plowing through both Taichi and Kojima. Yano tears off a turnbuckle whipping Kojima into it. Yano throws Kojima to the floor. Yano throws Kojima into a ringside barricade and then into the exposed turnbuckle back in the ring.
When Taichi is tagged in it doesn’t look like his ankle is bothering him much. Oleg runs the ropes back and forth…then finally decides to splash Taichi for a two. Taichi gives Oleg a big, big back body drop. Taichi ducks so that Oleg runs into the exposed buckle. Taichi kicks him in the head but then falls to the mat clutching that aggravated, sensitive knee. Kojima gives Oleg the machine gun chops in the ropes and his flying elbow drop for a two count. Oleg breaks out of one Koji Cutter but not a second one. Buzzsaw kick from Taichi. Taichi keeps Yano busy on the floor. Oleg and Kojima trade running clotheslines off the ropes. Oleg goes down. Oleg dodges the “sandwich lariat”. Taichi and Kojima clothesline each other instead. Kojima is thrown into the exposed buckle, slingshot onto Oleg’s shoulders and a Kamikaze for the pin.

El Desperado and Shuji Ishikawa versus Bullet Club War Dogs (Shingo Takagi and Drilla Moloney) – A Block
Takagi is take out with a double powerbomb. Ishikawa hits a running knee on Drilla but he kicks out. A Kamigoye and another running knee has Drilla kicking out again but a back suplex on his neck pins him.
Winners: El Desperado and Shuji Ishikawa
