TMDK (Zack Sabre Jr. and Ryohei Oiwa) are the winners of NJPW World Tag League defeating Gabe Kidd and Yota Tsuji in the finals. Powerhouses Oiwa and Tsuji began the match and took some time feeling each other out with headlocks and arm bars. Both men decided to tag out when they reached a stalemate. Kidd and ZSJ do the same thing though as they grapple each other, each looking for the advantage.
ZSJ frustrates Kidd with his technical skills. Oiwa and Kidd pick up the action trying to shoulder butt each other to the mat. Oiwa confuses Kidd with an arm drag off the rope though ending that little duel. Oiwa and ZSJ begin working over Kidd’s arm for the longest time. The match goes to the floor with Kidd slamming ZSJ into the steel barricade and chopping him up against it. Tsuji and Kidd begin punishing ZSJ tagging in and out. ZSJ finds himself trapped in the ropes. Kidd and Tsuji lay in chop after chop.
Oiwa finally tag in. He knocks Tsuji off the top rope but Kidd Superplexes him for a two count. Kidd begins barking. Oiwa and Kidd get into a slugfest in the middle of the ring. Kidd wins that war dropping Oiwa with a sit-down powerbomb for a two count.
Kidd goes for his running knee but Oiwa collapses to the mat. Kidd waits and charges in. Oiwa catches him in a sit-down powerbomb for a two count. Another slugfest and Oiwa ends up a victim of a War Blaster finisher. ZSJ makes the save.
Kidd and Tsuji clobber ZSJ with their double knee strike. Kidd piledrives Oiwa. Oiwa kicks out. Tsuji and Kidd set Oiwa up but ZSJ pulls Tsuji out of the ring. Kidd and Oiwa stare each other down in opposite corners. Oiwa clotheslines Kidd. Kidd pops up to his feet punching Oiwa in the face. Oiwa clotheslines Kidd for the win.
Usually, the World Tag League winners get a shot at Wrestle Kingdom against the IWGP Tag Team Champions. Right now, that is the Knock Out Brothers (Oskar and Yuto-Ice).
NJPW advanced more Wrestle Kingdom feud at tonight’s event including dust-ups between Evil and Aaron Wolf as well as adding a new match.

Harley Jackson of TMDK is the mystery challenger. It is Harley’s strength against ELP’s agility. ELP and Jackson battle on the top rope. ELP gets Jackson up on his shoulders for a Canadian Hammer, a Canadian Revolution 2 and a Thunder Kiss ’86 for the victory.

Drilla stops Owens from giving Takagi a Final Testament piledriver. Drilla punches Owens in the face as Takagi clotheslines him. They pin him with their War Dragon finisher.

David Finlay & Hiromu Takahashi vs United Empire (Callum Newman & Great-O-Khan)
Callum causes the DQ for his team by throwing a steel chair at Finlay. He then throws Finlay into a steel post. Newman clocks Hiromu in the head with the GHC Junior belt. Newman spits on the title, rubs Hiromu’s face in it and then gives him Excalibur. Newman gives Gedo a penalty kick to the head. He once again wraps a steel chair around Gedo’s head but Finlay chases him off. Finlay spikes Jakob Austin Young with Overkill. Newman and Khan walk away. Finlay is bleeding from the forehead. Finlay takes the microphone asking Newman if he really wants to start a feud with him. He says the Savage King is back! He challenges United Empire to a match at Wrestle Kingdom.

YOH, Master Wato & Toru Yano vs HOUSE OF TORTURE (EVIL, SANADA & Ren Narita) – NEVER Openweight 6 Man Tag Team Championship Match
As Sanada goes down from a Yoh punch he kicks him in the “lower abdomen”. Sanada goes for his guitar but the official stops him. Sho takes Togo’s garotte choking out Yoh. Narita now distracts the official threatening to bring the weight-lifting bar in the ring. Judo Olympic Gold Medalist Aaron Wolf chokes out Dick Togo on the floor. Sanada swings his guitar at Yoh. Yoh ducks and he hits a steel post instead shattering the guitar. Yoh low-blows Sanada. He low-blows Narita as he tries to enter the ring. He pitches Sanada into Narita. He rolls up Sanada for the win. Wolf and Evil brawl at ringside as Young Lions try to pull them apart.
