iMPACT: The System looks to bounce back

Greetings and salutations! TNA iMPACT will feature The System and Matt Cardona versus Order 4, a Knockouts Gauntlet to determine the number one contender, and NXT’s Trick Williams and Jacy Jayne will be live. Here is the full lineup:

  • TNA World Champion Trick Williams kicks off TNA iMPACT

With NXT Heatwave this Sunday, we are sure to get some interesting interactions leading into the WWE show. So with all that said, let’s get to the action.

Trick William is out to start things off and he brags about his win over Moose at Emergence. Trick says he’s used to beating his opponents in their hometowns and brings up Mike Santana. Trick says that he is the only person in the wrestling industry carrying two brands at the same time. Mike Santana is in the crowd and says that he has done some good things for TNA, but he’s also pissed off a lot of people in the locker room. Santana then reminds Trick that he wasn’t the one that got pinned at Slammiversary, and he doesn’t care if he gets his rematch inside a TNA or an NXT ring, and all he knows is that he will beat Trick for the TNA World Championship.

Trick tells Santana that he’s already had a few chances to beat him and he couldn’t. Santino Marella comes out and tells Santana he indeed deserves a title shot. Before Marella can make a match, Trick reminds Marella about a contract clause that states that the next title defense doesn’t have to take place until the 50th day of his previous defense. Trick tells Santana he’s doing him a favor because he doesn’t want him to embarrass himself in front of his family again. Santana tries to get his hands on Trick, but the champ leaves.

Gia Miller is backstage with Order 4 and Ali is asked about their match against The System later on. Ali says he wants to address Gia directly tonight. Ali brings up Tessa Blanchard’s attack on Miller from Slammiversary and says Order 4 feels they’ve been disrespected by The System and Matt Cardona too much so like always we need to trust in Ali.

Trick Williams is walking backstage and runs into Santino Marella and AJ Francis. Marella tells Trick that while he doesn’t need to defend the title for 50 days, that doesn’t mean he can’t wrestle. Marella sets up Trick Williams and AJ Francis versus Mike Santana and his a partner of his choosing for next week’s TNA iMPACT.

Knockouts Gauntlet for a shot at the TNA Knockouts World Title – Xia Brookside vs. Killer Kelly vs. Dani Luna vs. Rosemary vs. Indi Hartwell vs. Jody Threat

Xia Brookside and Killer Kelly start the match and we see Brookside hit a Stunner. Kelly comes right back with a Sunset Flip. Moments later, Brookside with the Brooksie Bomb to get the pin.

Dani Luna is out next and Brookside hits a Hurricanrana. Brookside looks for a Broken Wings, but Luna counterrs into a running dropkick, followed by the Luna Landing to get the pin.

Rosemary comes right out and Spears Luna, sending her to ringside. Rosemary bites the hand of Luna, then locks an Upside Down. Luna escapes somehow and hits a Luna Landing to get pin.

Indi Hartwell is out next and, like last week is attacked by Rosemary. Hartwell is slow to recover and get in the ring with Luna. Hartwell with a Spinebuster, and moments later looks for a Hurts Donut, but Hartwell counters the counter and gets Luna in a random pin and advances.

Luna is irate and loses it. Luna attacks Hartwell. Jody Threat enters at #6 and Luna tells her that she attacked and took out Hartwell for her. Luna is not done yet and she grabs a chair and looks to keep beating Hartwell up. Threat gets in the face of Luna, and Luna ends up taking out Threat with the chair causing a DQ to end the entire Gauntlet….. (SHEEESH!)

Winner: AND NEW #1 contender, Jody threat

After the match, Luna keeps attacking Hartwell, Threat, and even security.

The IInspiration say that they will get their hands on The Elegance Brand. NXT’s Fallon Henley and Jazmyn Nyx interrupt and we get a classic face to face.

In the back, Jody Threat is with Santino Marella and tell shim that she doesn’t deserve a shot at the Knockouts Championship with how she won that match. Threat wants the match to be awarded to Indi Hartwell. Dani Luna shows up and tells her that she did it for her (okay there Rikishi). Luna then tells her that the match was all but hers.

Ryan Nemeth announces that Nic Nemeth is back in two weeks after his suspension for attacking Hometown Man.

Frankie Kazarian vs. Jake Something

The match is ongoing and Kazarian has had enough and takes a break outside of the ring. Something follows him and hits him with a huge Clothesline. Kaz exposes one of the ring turnbuckles. Something hits Kaz with a Powerslam back in the ring. Kaz comes back with a Springboard Leg Drop, but this barely keeps Something down as he gets up at a 1-count. Kaz pushes Something into the earlier exposed turnbuckle, and hits a Fade to Black to win.

Frankie Kazarian

In the back Mara Sade is doing some art as The Hardys show up and Mara Sade tells them she was inspired by them at Emergence to do some art. Jeff reminds Mara that he to is an artist and wants to show her some of his art sometime….

Cedric Alexander catches up with Leon Slater. Alexander congratulates Slater for beating at TNA Emergence, and tells Slater was able to book a match for next week on TNA iMPACT. It’s going to be Cedric Alexander and Leon Slater versus The Hardys. Slater is shocked as he has teamed with the Hardy’s as of late, but says he’s going to put on a show.

Santino Marella is on a call with his lawyer “Steve” and he is trying to figure out what to do about Trick Williams 50-day contract clause. Steve Maclin shows up and tells Marella he heard Mike Satana needs a partner next week and volunteers himself. Marella makes it official as Mike Santana and Steve Maclin will take on Trick Williams and AJ Francis next week on TNA iMPACT.

Jacy Jayne talks WWE Heatwave

TNA and NXT Champion Jacy Jayne is in the ring and says it’s hard to be as good as she is. She makes fun of the Knockouts locker room and says that no one will be able to reach her levels of success. Jacy says Santino Marella knows that she is THE top star and no one can beat her one-on-one.

The Concierge is out along with Ash by Elegance. Ash recalls all sh’es accomplished in WWE and TNA. Ash calls Jacy an “attention whore”, and then calls out Masha Slamovich. Masha is out and says she’ll get her title back at WWE Heatwave because everybody’s is tired of seeing Jacy hold the TNA Knockouts World Championship. The three start brawling and we fade to commercial.

Tasha Steelz, Jason Hotch and John Skyler see Mara Sade’s painting and they make fun of it. Sade shows up with The Hardys and challenges Steelz to a match one-on-one for next week. Matt Hardy calls Steez a bitch and Order 4 leaves the room. We finally see that Mara Sade’s painting was the Hardy Boys logo.

Eric Young gets up to Myron Reed and says a change is coming. Young tells Reed that he has always been the third man in The Rascalz, and he will be benched again as soon as Trey Miguel gets back from injury. Zachary Wentz shows up and asks if Reed was good? Reed says that Young just booked himself in a match for next week against him on TNA iMPACT.

The System and Matt Cardona vs. Order 4

Mustafa Ali gets involved early on and Order 4 takes control with a double Neckbreaker to Cardona. Moose is in and hits Ali with Go To Hell for a 2-count. Myers hits Hotch with an Elbow Drop from the top rope, but Order 4 saves things just in time. The match goes into pandemonium 2025 at ringside. Tasha Steelz gets involved, and Order 4 sends Moose crashing into the steel ring steps. Tasha continues to get involved as she throws Alisha into the steps also. Eddie Edwards is out, but the behemoth Agent 0 takes him out. Ali with a Low blow on Myers, followed by The Favor from The Great Hands to get the win.

Winners: Order 4

After the match, Order 4 continues to attack The System and Cardona. Ali tells his Secret Service to pick up Moose so he can end things with a steel chair. JDC shows up and hits Agent Zero with a chair of his own, followed by more of the Secret Service with a standing Van Daminator. JDC then dives to ringside over the ropes to take out more of the Secret Service. Mustafa Ali gets in the ring to fight JDC, but Agent Zero gets in the way and hits him with a Headbutt before taking out JDC with a Double chokeslam on a steel chair. Moose is shown struggling to get up as the show ends.
