iMPACT: The System has eyes on Trick

Greetings and salutations! We are around the corner from Emergence and as such we have a jam packed show this week. On this week’s show we have:

  • Leon Slater (c) vs. Cedric Alexander vs. Jason Hotch (w/John Skyler & Tasha Steelz) – TNA X Division Championship Three-Way
  • Jacy Jayne (c) (w/Fallon Henley & Jazmyn Nyx) vs. Masha Slamovich – TNA Knockouts World Championship
  • Dani Luna & Indi Hartwell vs. Arianna Grace & Jody Threat
  • The Rascalz (Myron Reed & Zachary Wentz) vs. The Nemeths (Nic Nemeth & Ryan Nemeth)
  • First Class (AJ Francis & KC Navarro) & Trick Williams vs. The System (Brian Myers, Eddie Edwards & JDC) (w/Alisha Edwards)
  • Mike Santana Addresses Slammiversary

With all of that and more, let’s get straight to the action.

The show kicks off with a recap from last weeks show including the brawl with Order 4 and The System and Santana versus Joe Hendry. We then jump straight to the matches:

Leon Slater (c) vs. Cedric Alexander vs. Jason Hotch (w/John Skyler & Tasha Steelz) – TNA X Division Championship Three-Way

Tons of back and forth action in this match that gave each person their moment to shine. After tons of 50/50 action, Alexander hits a Michinoku Driver for a 2-count. Hotch with a knee strike to Slater and hits a step-up Moonsault. After more action, Slater with the hits as he hits Hotch with a modified Twist of Slate, followed by the Swanton 450 for the win.

Winner: And Still X-Division Champion; Leon Slater

After the match, Cedric Alexander gets in Slater’s face and the two men exchange words before Cedric leaves the ring.

Masha is in the back with Gabby LaSpisa and she talks about her loss to Jacy Jayne for the TNA Knockouts World Championship at Slammiversary and says she’ll take her title back later on tonight.

Leon Slater and Cedric Alexander continue to bicker in the back and they agree that a match is needed to see who the better person is.

Dani Luna & Indi Hartwell vs. Arianna Grace & Jody Threat

Victoria Crawford takes the match in from the ramp. Luna and Grace started the match and Luna gets separated from her partner. Luna went through the ropes to the floor and Grace attacked her. After some more beatdowns, Luna is able to make the hot tag to Hartwell. Hartwell cleans house and eventually, Luna hit the Luna Landing on Threat to get the win.

Winners: Dani Luna and Indi Hartwell

Jake Something talks about his win over Mance Warner from last week. Something says he wants a shot at the TNA International Championship now. Steve Maclin shows up as the promo suddenly ends…

The Rascalz (Myron Reed & Zachary Wentz) vs. The Nemeths (Nic Nemeth & Ryan Nemeth)

The Nemeths isolated Reed until Reed gave Nic a cutter and made the hot tag to Wentz. Moments later, Nic hit a superk to Wentz, followed by Ryan giving Wentz a DDT, followed by a Famouser from Nic. Reed gave Nic a Flame On to the outside as Wentz hit the Spiral Tap on Ryan to secure the win.

Winners: The Rascalz

The Nemeths refuse to leave the ring and get the mic. Nic says the tag team titles were stolen from them and that no tag team will ever be good as the brothers. Nic invokes the rematch clause for TNA Emergence. Out comes the Home Town Man. HTM says he was enjoying his food backstage and heard the brothers moan and complain and tells the brothers to apologize for what they said to the crowd after mocking them. HTM avoids a hit from Ryan but Nic jumps him. The brothers rip off HTM’s mask. Security jumps in and covers HTM’s face. The Rascalz are out and send the Nemeths packing.

Frankie Kazarian talks about the good ol’ days in TNA and says that he is now disrespected by management and calls himself the “King of TNA.”

Int he crowd, Santana talks about his loss at TNA Slammiversary. He says he’s been at low points in his life before but manages to fight back. Santana talks about seeing his daughter crying after the match and promised her that he will get his hands on Trick Williams. Santana drops an f bomb before telling the world he’ll become the TNA World Champion.

Jacy Jayne (c) (w/Fallon Henley & Jazmyn Nyx) vs. Masha Slamovich – TNA Knockouts World Championship

The challenger gained the momentum early on. Fallon Henley grabs Masha’s leg from ringside and this allowed Jayne to deliver a huge Superkick. Slamovich comes back, but this time is attacked by Ash By Elegance and this caused the ref to throw the match out.

Winner: Masha Slamovich via DQ

After the match, Ash by Elegance gets in the faces of Fatal Influence. The rest of the Elegance Brand shows up and everyone is yelling now. Lei Ying Lee and Xia Brookside show up to check up on Masha Slamovich as everyone else is yelling….

The doctor tells KC he isn’t cleared to compete. AJ Francis and Trick Williams show up and Trick can’t believe KC isn’t cleared and then tells Francis to fix things. Francis tells KC to get in the ring even if it means walking on crutch.

The Elegance Brand is celebrating Ash’s attack on Masha Slamovich. Masha shows up and Ash reminds her she’s the number one contender. Santino Marella shows up and sets up a title match between Ash and Jacy Jayne with the winner facing Masha Slamovich.

Masa Sade is coming…..

Order 4 is out and Mustafa Ali talks about the outsiders that have plagued TNA Wrestling. Ali says that it is time to restore order to TNA. Ali proceeds to introduce the newest member of Order 4, the head of his Secret Service, Agent Zero. Ali gets angry at the crowd and questions them as to why they cheer for people like Mike Santana and Joe Hendry.

Joe Hendry was out and makes fun of John Skylar by doing his schtick. We see a puppet with Skylar’s mask. Hendry says Skylar bought Mustafa Ali’s merch only to wipe his ass with it. Hendry then challenges Ali to a match, but Ali says no. Hendry says they’ll talk next week…

Tom Hannifan sits down with Sami Callihan. Hannifan asks Callihan to talk about what Moose said about him last week. Callihan gives a wishy washy answer. He talks about his body issues from the past, and gets emotional. Callihan calls Mike Santana the new standard of TNA, and says that he wants to test himself against Santana at Emergence. Callihan then says that if he loses, he’ll ride off into the Baltimore sunset.

Moose & Eddie Edwards (w/Alisha Edwards) vs. Trick Williams & AJ Francis (w/ KC Navarro)

Trick and AJ had the advantage on Eddie, but Eddie gave AJ a Blue Thunder Bomb. Moose is in and cleans house. Moose with a Rock Bottom on Trick, followed by a Senton. Moose gave AJ a headbutt. Moose focuses on Trick again, and gives him a Powerbomb, but AJ broke up the pin. KC hits Trick with the crutch by accident, and Moose with a Spear to the champ and even pins him for the win!

Winners: Moose & Eddie Edwards
