WWE, TNA and AEW were all represented in one way or another at House of Glory’s Superclash event from the Suffolk Credit Union Arena in Brentwood, Long Island, New York and broadcast on Triller TV. In the main event, “Everything Everywhere All at Once Women’s World Champion”, Mercedes Mone, sought to add another belt she won’t defend any time soon to her collection and Dezmond Xavier (formerly Wes Lee in NXT/WWE) sought to dethrone HOG Heavyweight Champion Charles Mason but left with an unexpected surprise.
Nic Nemeth versus Amazing Red
Nemeth counters Red’s high-flying style with a lot of match wrestling. Nemeth keeps him grounded with arm locks, etc. A cool moment has Nemeth countering Code Red with a DDT. Red later counters Sweet Chin Music with cool Tornado Kick to the head. With Nemeth on the floor, Red leaps through the ropes, into Nemeth. over the barricade and into the third row. Red does a tribute to Eddie Guerrero as he frog splashes Nemeth twice for the three count.
Winner: Amazing Red
Maki Itoa versus Shayna Baszler
For much of the bout Baszler cannot make heads or tails of Itoa claiming she is the “Cutest In the World”. Baszler kicks Itoa’s legs out from under her. Itoa slaps her in the face. Baszler fires back. Itoa begins to sob and complain about getting hit in the face. Baszler: “What the hell?”.
Baszler and Itoa trade shot for shot. Baszler kicks out of Itoa’s Kokeshi. Baszler flips Itoa’s DDT into a Kirifuda Clutch.
Winner: Shayna Baszler
Angel Jaquez versus JJ Doze versus Joey Silver versus Montquilla versus Raheem Royal versus Shaukat – Six Man Scramble for a HOG Cruiserweight Championship
The champ Daron Richardson makes his presence felt before, during and after the match. Silver wins but Richardson attacks everyone with a steel chair. He chokes out Silver with a chair.
Winner: Joey Silver
Idris Jackson versus Killer Kross
Kross is the arrogant Jackson’s surprise opponent. Defending the crowd’s honour he tells Jackson to shut the hell up. Kross is distracted by Jackson’s manager Dr. Hilary P. Wisdom who chokes him out from the floor. A Doomday Saito and a Cross Jacket firmly puts Jackson away. Wisdom gets in Kross’ face. Kross head butts him in the chest.
Winner: Killer Kross
Allie Katch and Priscilla Kelly versus Shotzi Blackheart and Scarlett Bordeaux
Lots of butt/hip attacks at the start. Shotzi tries to being a staple gun into the match but the official ruins all the fun. Shotzi and Scarlett work over Kelly until she hot tags Katch in. When Kelly is pushed into the ropes Scarlett uses the staple gun on her head. Shotzi kicks Kelly in the head and pins her with a DDT.
Winner: Shotzi Blackheart and Scarlett Bordeaux
Dezmond Xavier (Wes Lee) versus Charles Mason (c) – HOG Heavyweight Championship Match
This is Wes Lee’s first match back after leaving NXT. Xavier is stunned that Mason is wrestling in a blazer. Mason rubs his hands all over Xavier’s chest and then all over his blazer. “What is wrong with you?” says Lee. Mason removes his tie with a smile. Xavier begins chopping Mason down with kicks and a double stomp. Mason rolls out of the ring and takes his blazer off. Mason takes a sip of water from a bottle under the ring. Xavier bounces off the ropes. Mason spits the water in his face. Mason DDTs Xavier on the apron and a basement drop kick knocks Xavier out to the floor. They brawl on the floor. Mason throws Xavier into the barricade. He chokes him out with his dress shirt and rams him into a steel post. He ties Xavier to a ring post with his dress shirt. Mason chops Xavier relentlessly.
Mason slaps on the Reign of Terror sleeper. He takes Xavier to the mat. Xavier breaks out, labels Mason with two big kicks to the head. Rapid fire strikes and a cutter stuns Mason. Xavier kicks out of a Death Valley Driver. Mason pins Xavier with a Gotch Style Tombstone Piledriver.
Winner: …and still HOG Heavyweight Champion, Charles Mason.
Mason brings a steel chair into the ring. Before he can use it The Rascalz Zachary Wentz chases him away. Zachary helps Xavier up. Zachary thinks it is time The Rascalz go after the House of Glory World Tag Team Championship. Midas Black and Jay Lyon come out. They are challenged to a Number One Contenders match.
Mercedes Mone versus Nor “Phoenix” Diana (c) APAC Wrestling Women’s World Champion
In case you aren’t aware, APAC Wrestling is a Malaysian professional wrestling promotion and training center, founded by pro wrestler Ayez Shaukat. Mone: “Do you not know who I am? I am the best in the world!” she says to Nor. Nor sends Mone flipping across the ring. Nor gets a one count with a Fisherman’s Suplex. Mone calls for a time out on the floor. Mone offers her hand to Nor but just hauls her to the ground. Nor escapes Mone’s finisher giving her a backstabber and then a diving splash on the floor.
They battle on the floor where Mone posts Nor. Mone catches Nor off the ropes. She spikes her with a lung blower and Mone Maker to pin her.
Winner: …and new APAC Wrestling Women’s World Champion, Mercedes Mone.
