Ricky Saints was looking to escape Oba Femi’s shadow and prove himself a worthy NXT World Champion at Halloween Havoc as he took on former champion Trick Williams. The odd thing is that the crowd started to turn against Saints during the match and in the end although Saints successfully made it through another brutal championship war it really wasn’t clear if he had established himself as a formidable champion or just a fortunate survivor once again?
As the bell rings, Williams is on the attack. He leaps on Saints with a clothesline and then lands haymaker after haymaker on his head. Williams throws Saints to the floor. Je’Von Evans and Leon Slater versus Mr. Iguana and La Parka

Evans and Slater are wearing matching gear, purple and green. Evan carries a skeleton to the ring just for fun. At the announce desk, Vic is dressed like The Riddler while Booker looks like…well, Booker. Booker says doesn’t need an iguana. He has a dog. Big cheers for Parka and Iguana.
Parka starts doing his chicken dance in front of Evans. Evans just gives him a forearm in the face. Vic jokes about playing NWO versus WCW and liking to choose La Parka because he started the match with a steel chair. Funny that. One of the first video games I ever reviewed professionally as part of Sun Media and G4 TV Canada.
Parka and Evan hit each other with shoulder tackles and pop back up. Really good chemistry between these two. Slater doesn’t know how to approach the crawling and slithering Iguana. Booker says Iguana has no wasted motion. Fans go mental for Iguana.

Ethan Page (c) vs. El Hijo de Dr. Wagner Jr. – NXT North American Championship, Day of the Dead Match
