Halloween Havoc: A Night of Treats for Fans, Tricks for Champions
It is onwards and upwards as NXT heads towards Deadline on December 6th. It may be a long ways away but that gives the black and gold brand lots of time to build those angles, feuds…and it all starts tonight…
We begin with…Trick Williams is on the warpath. He storms through the back yelling on production staff.
“This is MY house. I have been running things here for years!” he shouts claiming that Ricky Saints shouldn’t get too comfortable with that title. He shoves some jabroni outside into a garage door. He continues on through the parking lot.
“This is MY house! It has always been MY house! Three years I have been doing everything!” he snaps storming into the arena and grabbing a microphone.
The crowd chants…”Trick got whooped!”.
He claims he beat Saints like a drum and a bum. He wants another title match.
GM Ava and security come out. She claims Williams is throwing a temper tantrum.
“There was no controversy on Saturday. You just lost,” says Ava.
The crowd chants…”Trick got whooped!”…again.
For those who forgot, Trick runs down all of his accomplishments in NXT.
NXT World Champion Ricky Saints runs by security to throw hands with Williams in the ring. Ava calls in more black shirts to settle things down.
Axiom versus Jasper Troy – Speed Tournament Semi-Finals
Axiom tries to go at Troy with haymakers. Troy throws Axiom into a corner, puts him over his knee for some hammer fists. Axiom gets a reprieve by giving Troy a leg whip in the ropes and a missile drop kick. Axiom charges in and Troy crushes him. Axiom has a sleeper on Troy. When that doesn’t work he hits the ropes. Troy clotheslines him down pinning him with a Black Hole Slam.
Winner: Jasper Troy
GM Ava meets with Sol Ruca and Zaria. Sol doesn’t have to use her crutch any more but her knee is still in a brace. Ava tells Ruca not to rush things or do anything crazy. Ava picks Ruca’s brain about what to do about the Speed Championship. She surrenders the title. This irritates Zaria. Ruca wants to focus on her rehab and winning back the titles she never lost in the first place. At hearing that, Zaria storms out of the room. Ava announces there will be a tournament to decide the new Women’s Speed Champion.
NXT Women’s Champion Tatum Paxley heads to the ring with The Culling.
The crowd chants: “You deserve it”.
Tatum says she has dreamt about this moment for so long. She went through so much heartache to become a champion. Tatum starts talking about handing out opportunities and Izzi cuts her off saying she could risk losing the belt if she does that. Spears backs up Izzi.
“Turn her mike off!” shouts the crowd.
“I say this with love. It has been a long four years for you but you made it! You earned it! You are our champion and there is nobody more happier than I am,” says Izzi wanting Tatum to remember that she had many shots to win the title in the past but came up short.
Izzi believes that people should earn a shot. Tatum disagrees. She has altered the Halloween Havoc wheel ever so slightly. Whomever name it lands on is who face her in a championship match tonight. Izzi thinks it is a bad idea. Spears notices that Izzi’s name isn’t on the wheel. Tatum says that is because she doesn’t want anything to come between them. Tatum spins the wheel. It lands on: Lola Vice. Izzi is not happy.
Trick is still wandering around the backstage area looking for Saints or Ava. Kendal Grey and Wren Sinclair chat. Wren wonders if Grey really wants to take on Lash tonight? She feels responsible for what has happened. Grey is ready to show Lash up. Sinclair offers her a NQCC jacket but Grey is hyped for the match and wants Sinclair to come with her. They are in this together.

Talk about David versus Goliath. Lash towers over Grey. Grey tries to outwrestle Lash. Lash uses her strength to toss and spin Grey around like a top. Lash catches Grey coming off the ropes with one hand. She hurls her from the ring, through the ropes and to the floor. Grey doesn’t back down. Grey leaps over the top rope. Lash catches her and throws her over the ropes and to the floor. A big boot on the floor knocks Grey for a loop. Grey bounces off the ropes striking Lash again and again. Lash doesn’t drop. Grey DDTs Lash on the floor. She goes for a splash but Lash catches he mid-air and gives her a Snake Eyes on the top rope. Lash rushes in for a big boot. Grey dodges pinning her with Shades of Grey.

Lola Vice and Tatum chat backstage. Lola is thankful for the opportunity and a fair shot. Lola loves Tatum but…she vows that she is going to knock her out and become the champion. Izzi shows up telling Tatum that hyping Lola up probably isn’t the brightest of ideas.

Briggs tosses off the headset and leaps onto the apron. Heights clocks him one. Borne clotheslines him over the top rope and then splashes Briggs and Heights on the floor. Borne counters a belly-to-belly suplex with a roll-up. Both men shake hands after the match.

Page and Green are looking forward to the AAA Mixed Tag Team Championship match they have for this weekend. Page asks Green to handle the “security situation” in Mexico. Green complains about still not finding a replacement for Piper Niven in The Secret Hervice.
Thea Hail walks by singing…”I believe in Joe Hendry!”.
He pops out of a garbage can. He tells Chelsea and Page they need to worry about beating their competition first before crowning themselves champions. Page doesn’t take advice from people who jump out of garbage cans. Thea returns and wheels Hendry away.

Vice takes Paxley down early on wearing her out. Paxley turns things around. Not for long though as Lola wraps her in a leg lock. Paxley drop kicks and body splashes Lola in a corner.

Next week it will be Izzi Dame, Tatum Paxley and Lola Vice versus Fatal Influence.
Kelly Kincaid chats with Sol Ruca backstage. Sol cannot stand seeing Monroe with the championship belt. Zaria tells Ruca she is entering herself in that Speed tournament. She will win back that title for Sol. Fatal Influence interrupts. Jayne has worked too long and too hard for her title to be taken away like that. She shoves the camera out of the way.

Jordan gets a two count with a split-legged stunner off the ropes. Grace flips over Jordan, lands on her feet but her knee buckles. Grace attempts Grace Under Pressure…her knee buckles again. Jordan double stomps her. Jordan grabs the wrong leg for a single-leg Boston Crab at first then realizes her mistake. Despite her wonky leg, Grace powerbombs Jordan for a two count.
Jordan spikes Grace with a Spanish Fly. Grace kicks out. Williams and Saints are STILL fighting. The official leaves the ring to wave them off. Jordan uses the distraction to sneak out of the ring and grabs the title belt. She looks at it wondering what to do. Grace German Suplexes Jordan from behind for a two count.
The fight between Williams and Saints enters the ring. Saints clotheslines Williams over the top rope. They both hit the floor.
