Things went from bad to worse for Hirooki Goto at the G1 Climax tournament.
As Goto went for his Revolution at today’s event, his opponent the Great-O-Khan chomped down on his arm as if he hadn’t eaten in a month. Goto recovered enough to hit a reverse GTR but the Khan pulled the official in the way as Goto came running off the ropes.
As Goto checked on the official, Khan attacked from behind kicking the back of Goto’s knee causing it to collapse. He then kicked him in the back of the skull. Khan grabbed a steel chair from under the ring. He set it up in the middle of the ring and put Goto’s head on it. Goto managed to get back to his feet and use the chair to knock the one of our Khan’s hands.
Khan got on his knees and begged Goto not to strike him with the chair. Goto lifted it up. Khan braced himself for the blow. Goto threw the chair out of the ring. Khan punched Goto in the “lower abdomen”.
Khan revived the official and pinned Goto with the Eliminator.
After the match, Khan picked up another steel chair as Young Lion Tatsuya Matsumoto checked on Goto. As Khan reared back with the chair Matsumoto grabbed it but Khan pulled it away. Matsumoto stood over Goto blocking Khan. Khan clobbered him with the chair. Khan put Goto’s head on the chair and hit it with another chair. Khan left the ring laughing at his handiwork.
Goto had to be carried to the back.

A Block – Jake Lee versus Sanada
Sanada gives Lee a neckbreaker off the apron. Sanada then ties Lee’s leg to the barricade with a belt. Sanada gets back in time. Lee doesn’t.
Winner: Sanada
A Block – Konosuke Takeshita versus Boltin Oleg
Konosuke blocks the Kamikazi by grabbing the top rope. Konosuke nails Oleg with a running knee to the back of the head and another to the face. Oleg just laughs. Konosuke hits him again. Raging Fire for the win.
Winner: Konosuke Takeshita
A Block – Yuto-Ice versus Ryohei Oiwa
Ice with a super kick to the face and his Cruella kick.
Winner: Yuto-Ice
A Block- Yota Tsuji versus Shingo Takagi
Takagi gives Tsuji a Poison Rana but Tsuji just stands back up. Takagi blocks Tsuji’s spear with one of his own. Tsuji kicks out of the Burning Dragon. Tsuji drops Takagi with a nasty spear off the ropes.
Winner: Yota Tsuji
