This week’s Dynamite is a Tribute to the life, career and legacy of Benjamin Satterly, otherwise known as PAC, who unfortunately passed away on Sunday just hours after wrestling at All Out the day before. It’s going to be an emotional night, so let’s get this underway.
The show starts with Excalibur giving a statement on PAC, a man who he has history going back to the early days of PWG. We go to the ring where Tony Schiavone talks about the man we’re honoring tonight. He talks what PAC meant to the company and everyone in it.
With that we go to Jon Moxley addressing his loss at All Out, a promo that was filmed after the PPV event, meaning it is the last thing we see PAC himself for the last time.. Mox talks about knowing how to lose in wrestling and in life, and losing people and opportunities. He says every day is a gift to do something with and walks off as Marina Shafir, Daniel Garcia, Wheeler Yuta, and PAC walk off with him.
The entire roster is out on the stage as we head to ringside for a 10-bell salute minus the Death Riders. We get a shot of a empty chair with a towel in honor of PAC as Jon Moxley makes his entrance to defend the Continental Championship against one of his and PAC’s notable rival – Orange Cassidy .
AEW Continental Championship: Jon Moxley vs Orange Cassidy
In the opening moments, we see a rare display of emotion from Cassidy considering the circumstances. Mox gets a hammerlock on Cassidy, who gets to the ropes and forces a break. Both men try to get things under control with holds, unsuccessful. They then go for an exchange of pins but that ends in a standoff between the pair.
There was a Test of Strength that lasted way more than i thought it would. Mox would take full control of the match by slamming Cassidy’s face on to the announce table. Mox gives a nod to PAC with a running start into a dropkick and follows it up with a Brutalizer, but Cassidy rolls through cinching one of his own, who manages to break free before dropping Cassidy with a Death Rider for the win.
After the match, Mox just sits in the ring without any celebration. Crowd chants his name until the music of Bryan Danielson coming down the ring sporting one of the new shorts honoring PAC and an armband. The two men hug it out to a huge pop from……its hard..very hard to not get emotional.
Winner (And Still) – Jon Moxley
We then hear some words from “Hangman” Adam Page. Hangman and PAC’s rivalry had been one of the company’s defining rivalries in the early months of the company.
"He cared about everyone so much. And I am going to miss him. Thank you, Ben. Good bye."

The Elite (Bucks,Hangman,Kenny) vs Don Callis Family (RPG Vice, Knight, Fletcher)
The entire Elite reunite for the first time in years to honor their friend, facing the Don Callis Family. The match starts with chaos as the family focus their attack on Nick after sending everybody else out. Nick fights back and gets control in the corner of the Elite, all four men just take their turn in the offense.
The Elite leap to the outside with a Terminator dive sending the Family to the floor. Fletcher and Knight take out Page and Omega on the outside while Berretta tags in to drop Matt to take control for the family. In the end, it was nothing but the Elite. A Superkick Party, Buckshot-V Trigger, BTE Trigger and a One Winged Angel by Omega to finish things.
The Four Men share a hug in the middle of the ring, clearly very emotional just like all of us.
Winners- The Elite
We hear from both Cash Wheeler and “Switchblade” Jay White about PAC
"Ben, if anybody was ever in a league of their own, it was you. The most complete professional, and the greatest man. And it feels like we're all just waiting for Ben to show up to the PAC appreciation night."
We love you, Ben. We always will. 🖤 pic.twitter.com/zAvQVLuOft

After we see the Trios Champions, Swerve Strickland and New Level make their way to the ring. They laidg down the title belts alongside a towel honoring PAC, while commentary mentions him having held the championship the most out of anybody across his two reigns as part of the Death Triangle and the Death Riders.
We then get a few words from Ricochet reminiscing about their time in Japan with Dragon Gate, unrelated but if you haven’t i highly recommend checking out their work from Dragon Gate, you won’t be dissapointed
"I love you, Ben. And I know all of us are going to miss you so bad."@KingRicochet remembers his fallen brother, @BastardPAC.

We the head to ringside for our next match
Non-Title: Will Ospreay vs. Ricochet
Both men who shares a lot of history with PAC, embrace in the middle of the ring before getting the action started. The two trade offense back and forth, with Ricochet getting the upper hand for a bit, noy long enough as Ospreay fights back almost immediately. Ospreay looking for Storm Breaker only for Ricochet to counter into a hurricanrana for two. He then connects with a Phoenix splash, but Ospreay kicks out at two.
Later on, Ospreay hits a shooting star Pele kick in honor of PAC, connects with a hidden blade but doesn’t go for the cover. Instead, goes to the top and hits a Black Arrow in honor of PAC for the win.
The two men and their corner men hug it out in the post match, sharing a touching moment.
Winner – Will Ospreay
We now hear from Will Ospreay as he shares his words about PAC
“I’m gonna miss you, I love you, and thank you for everything you’ve done for me and so many other people.”#AEW World Champion @WillOspreay speaks on his earliest memories of @BASTARDPAC and the impact he had on him as a teenager coming up.

Marina Shafir, Thunder Rosa, Hyan vs Mercedes Mone, Persephone, Dr Britt Baker DMD
Originally, a normal tag match without Shafir or Mone but added with the circumstances in mind. Persephone with a subtle nod to PAC in her entrance, Shafir also got a big pop from the crowd. The match started with Persephone and Rosa, Perse quickly tags out to Baker, renewing the old rivalry.
Eventually all six women get into it. Baker, Persephone, and Moné end up being sent to the outside, and their opponents celebrate on the apron. Hyan intercepts Persephone on the outside as Marina gets back to her feet, breaking out of Baker’s grip before cinching in a Brutalizer in honor of PAC as Baker taps out. The trio celebrate alongside Moxley.
Winners – Marina Shafir, Thunder Rosa and Hyan
Death Riders vs Don Callis Family
The Don Callis Family comes out with a returning Wardlow as part of it. The Death Riders make their entrance, forming a huddle around a chair with a towel draped on it, honoring their friend. After making their way to the ringside, Mox doesn’t join the rest of the Death Riders, instead joining the commentary desk much to the confusion of everyone.
We then hear the music of Bryan Danielson, as he joins the rest of the Death Riders as their fifth man. This is why i didn’t mention the name of the participants in the title. The action gets underway as all ten men go at it.
Danielson gets the hot tag from Yuta, still feels as he is in his prime, getting in a LeBell lock. Marina hops on the apron, only to be grabbed by Archer but she turns it into an armbar against the rope before Garcia sends him out.
Doyle comes back in but so does all of the Death Riders, who go for a carousel of clothesline on him in the corner (including Shafir). Danielson and Yuta hit a double suicide dive before Kidd hits a PAC style lariat on Doyle, who takes a Dragon slayer by Garcia into a curb stomp by Claudio. This gets them the victory.
Winners – Death Riders
The group hugs it out in the ring and after that we go to a video package looking back on his life and career, which honestly will just makes you cry. You just have to watch it.
The very, very best of us. Truly one of a kind.
We love you so, so much, Ben. We miss you so, so much. We always will. 🖤 pic.twitter.com/pi0XkfZKAn

We close the show on a shot of a chair and a towel as all of the Death Riders gather around it as a final tribute on what was a very emotional night.
I don’t want to say too much personally, at this moment i don’t know how to say much without crying. So ill keep it short, prayers to his family, friends and may he rest peacefully. Gravity may have forgotten you Benjamin, but we won’t. Thank You.
