The big semi-annual Saudi show is here, and it’s a loaded card once again. Here we go.
Brock Lesnar vs. Bobby Lashley
Super Hoss time!
Lashley dominated early, a rarity for a Brock match. Brock came back as the finisher fest continued.
Lashley locked in the Hurt Lock, but Lesnar did the Bret Hart turnbuckle kick-off and got the pin in a super short match. Sure, save the quickies for the PPVs, but have the long matches be commercially interrupted.
Paul, call me please.

After the bell, Damage Control enters and again assaults Belair until Asuka and Alexa Bliss return to even the odds. Yep, Cross has been buried in record time.

Coverage for the ladies tonight, as expected.
Stellar work by these women. You know by now where my favourtism lies.
Schmozzfest gives Nikki Cross, who apparently bought a ticket to Saudi just to muck with the faces, the opportunity to cause chaos and hand the belts back to Kai-n-Sky.

Drew McIntyre vs. Karrion Kross (Steel Cage Match)

Good action all around here. I wonder how you say, “This is awesome!” in Arabic…
Late we get the sprint to finish with Scarlett opening the door for her man, but McIntyre drops from the cage first.
I used to like steel cage matches when I was younger (blood or no blood), but the matches are now so formulaic that they just don’t have the appeal they used to.

The Sami Zayn-less Bloodline arrives to the arena late. That wouldn’t have happened if Sami was with them…
Judgement Day vs. The OC
Rhea’s hair is apparently a tribute to the “late, great” Beth Phoenix. Oh Michael Cole, you were doing so well for a while there…
Match, as always, is going fine, until the Ripley interference rears its ugly head. Finn Balor with the Coup de Gras to finish the match. BORING!

Omos vs. Braun Strowman
Superheavy Hoss time!
Back and forth action for much of the match. Strowman breaks free from a Tree Slam attempt and soon after gets the Running Powerslam for the duke. Another shortie, one that definitely would be better suited for TV.
Winner: Braun Strowman
The Usos vs. The Brawling Brutes (Undisputed WWE Tag Team Championship Match)
Clash of styles here.
A few Sheamus tribute spots from the Brutes before the action spills outside. Back in the ring, the double splash is broken up before the three count. Very strong action that finishes with the 1D.
Winners: The Usos
As expected, It’s Uso / New Day on Friday for the belts, with the longest-reign-record on the line.
Bianca Belair vs. Bayley (Last Woman Standing / Raw Women’s Championship Match)
Coverage for the ladies here as well.
Very solid action but the extreme stuff is being well covered off by Liv Morgan.
Counts get longer as the match goes on. At one point Bayley gets in a golf cart to do some damage. It’s a golf cart. You’re more likely to be hurt by a club than a cart. (Not that I know from experience.)
A couple convoluted spots including the cart, a table, and Bianca’s hair.
Belair misses a 450 onto a pile o chairs. OUCH.
Belair traps Bayley with a ladder and chair setup to get the “you’re trapped” win. I thought it was cute when Savage did that to Crush nearly three decades ago to win, but it’s tired now.
Do we get Kai-n-Sky turning on Bayley on Monday?

Bray Wyatt is out now for his segment.
Wyatt has a remorseful, self-sorrow promo. Uncle Howdy comes up on the screen again.
Roman Reigns vs. Logan Paul (WWE Undisputed Universal Championship Match
Not exactly excited for this one.
Paul hits a Buckshot Lariat at one point, because… reason?
Reigns hits a Rock Bottom, Paul kicks out at two.
Superman Punch from Logan Paul gets two.
Paul with a Frog Splash through the annnounce table while holding his phone. Cute.
Usos get involved, as does Jake Paul, as expected. Solo is out next and finally we get an end to this with a Superman Punch and Spear.
Strong action, but I’d have bought Logan Paul as more of a threat if he had strung together a couple wins on TV first.
Winner: Roman Reigns
Strong matches for the mostpart, predictable outcomes for the mostpart as well. Take those comments for what they’re worth.
