The IWGP Global Heavyweight Champion has been beaten again. Gabe Kidd has lost yet another G1 Climax match. Yuya Uemura, who has really come into his own during the tournament, survived a piledriver and turned a Paradigm Shift into a fancy roll-up to come out with his hand raised.
In the G1, Kidd has already lost to Drilla Maloney and Callum Newman.
Earlier in the evening, Maloney had to survive the usual House of Torture shenanigans to defeat Ren Narita.
Maloney made his way to the ring but Kanemaru attacks hitting him with his whiskey bottle in the head over and over. Narita joins the attack on the floor whipping Maloney into the ringside barricade. They are back inside the ring just to hear the bell ring.
Naritat slams Maloney into a steel post and whips him in rows of empty chairs. Maloney limps back to the ring. Narita chokes him over the security railing. As Narita drags the official away, Kanemaru hits Maloney with a steel chair as Togo holds him. Minutes later, Togo chokes Maloney as Kanemaru kicks him in the head.
Maloney fights back with a wrecking ball drop kick that sends Narita into the barricade, hard. Maloney breaks Narita’s triangle submission by just picking him up off the mat and giving him a fireman’s carry driver.
Maloney rolls out of the way of Narita’s dive off the top rope and gores him in the middle of the ring. Togo pulls the official out of the ring before he can finish his count. Togo and Kanemaru rush into the ring to lay a beating on Maloney.
Kanemaru takes a swig of his whiskey but Maloney throws Togo into him. The whiskey is spit into thin air. Narita has Maloney in a sleeper hold. Maloney ducks so that Togo throws powder into Narita’s eyes. Maloney smashes Narita into Togo. Togo flies off the apron.
Maloney drops Narita with a super kick and a Drilla Killer for the three count.

B Block – Zack Sabre Jr. versus HENARE
Henare superplexes ZSJ off the top rope. ZSJ kicks out of Rampage though. They engage in a battle of European Uppercuts and forearms. ZSJ slaps Henare’s face over and over. Henare goes nuts on ZSJ. ZSJ makes Henare submit to another one of his electrifying octopus-whatever holds.
