The semi-finals of the Best of the Super Juniors 33 tournament has been set.
It will be Master Wato versus YOH and Robbie Eagles versus Kosei Fujita on Friday.
Wato finished first place in A Block and Fujita was second. Eagles finished first in B Block and Yoh was second.
The finals are on Sunday.
The House of Torture’s Sho came down to the ring and protested after Eagles’ win. Robbie Eagles had to beat Hyo to advance.
In the closing moments of their match, both men battled on the top rope. Eagles won out dropping Hyo with a Super Turbo Backpack. Only a two count though. Eagles put Hyo in the Ron Miller Special. Hyo had to eventually tap out.

Sho cames out and complained after hearing he was now eliminated from the tournament. He says he beat Robbie Eagles.
He takes his frustration out on Hyo at ringside. Yoh climbs up on the apron. He berates Eagles.
Hyo gets up, holds Sho’s legs so that Eagles can rip the black mirror out of his hands and whack him over the head with it.

B Block Jakob Austin Young versus SHO
Young has is mathematically eliminated.
Sho has to win or he is toast.
Young puts Sho in the Boston Crab. Dick Togo rings the ring bell. Sho grabs a handful of tights for a two count. Young charges into an exposed turnbuckle pad. Sho puts on the crossarm breaker. It is Zayne Jay’s turn to ring the ring bell. Sho spears JAY and then slaps on the Boston Crab. A masked figure wearing a United Empire t-shirt throws in the towel for Young. The official calls the match. As the masked figure heads to the back he lifts up his mask a bit and it appears to be Yujiro Takahashi.
Winner: SHO
B Block KUSHIDA versus Taiji Ishimori
Kushida is mathematically eliminated.
Ishimori must win to stay in contention.
Kushida puts on the Hoverboard Lock. Ishimori cleverly switches things around giving Kushida a Bloody Cross.
Winner: Taiji Ishimori
B Block El Desperado versus Yoshinobu Kanemaru
Kanemaru is mathematically eliminated.
Desperado must win.
Kanemaru gets a two count with a jackknife cover. Spinebuster by Desperado. Desperado lifts up Kanemaru for Pinche Loco but Kanemaru turns that into a bridging pin for a two count. Pinche Loco pins Kanemaru. Sho is now also eliminated.
Winner: El Desperado
B Block YOH versus Daisuke Sasaki
Sasaki is mathematically eliminated.
Sasaki catches Yoh’s super kick and turns that into a crossface submission. That was awesome. Yoh turns the crossface into an Anaconda Vice. A series of roll-ups sees Yoh win out with a pin.
Yoh is through to the Semi-Finals.

B Block Robbie Eagles versus Hyo
Hyo is mathematically eliminated.
Winner: Robbie Eagles
A Block Kosei Fujita versus Daiki Nagai
Nagai is mathematically eliminated
Fujita must win
Fujita head butts Nagai really, really hard. Fujita puts on Boston Crab forcing Nagai to submit.

A Block Valiente Jr. versus Robbie X
Valiente Jr. is mathematically eliminated
X must win
Both men clothesline each other and fall to the ground in heaps. Valiente stops the springboard cutter, heaves X into the air and kick clocks him with a kick. Valiente Special and a leglock forces X to submit. X has been eliminated.

A Block Ryusuke Taguchi versus Jun Kasai
Taguchi is mathematically eliminated
Kasai advances with a win
A battle of the roll-ups Taguchi wins that fight. Kasai is eliminated. Kasai takes out his frustration on a Young Lion.
Taguchi set a record. He has the most wins of anyone in the history of the BOTJ tournament.

A Block Titan versus Francesco Akira
Someone has to win to advance. Titan leaps on top of Zayne Jay to keep him at bay. Springboard Drop Kick by Titan. Titan dives on Akira on the floor. Akira moves out of the way of a double stomp. Running knee smash to Titan. Akira makes Titan submit. The result eliminates Nick Wayne from contention as well as Titan.
Winner: Francesco Akira
A Block Master Wato versus Nick Wayne
Wayne kicks out of La Cavernaria. Wato blocks Wayne’s super kick and kicks him in the head. Slingblade from Wato. Tombstone Driver and Wayne skill kicks out. Wato pins Wayne with his bridging German suplex
