AEW is in Manchester, England for Dynamite/Collision, a special 3-hour show tonight.
There’s lots to get to in the card with more Continental Classic matches and a massive 4v4 women’s tag match! As well, Swerve Strickland, “Hangman” Adam Page, and Samoa Joe will sign their contracts for the 3-way AEW Men’s World Championship match at World’s End.
Starting hot! They’re already in the ring as the show starts!
1. Roderick Strong (0-0-2) vs. Jon Moxley (1-0-2) in the Continental Classic Blue League
The two grapple after staring each other down. Both men desperately need a win.
This is the fifth meeting between the two and they’re tied 2-2. Strong goes for an ankle lock but maybe just to get in Moxley’s head, as the commentary team points out. Just teasing it.
Strong gets Moxley in the corner and then hits a dragon screw on the left ankle. The two end up in the crowd after Moxley takes a heavy chop.
One chop from @RoderickStrong and @JonMoxley is OUT OF HERE!

That’s gonna leave a mark! They exchange forearm shots. Strong throws him back over the barricade towards the ring. Moxley retaliates and hits back with an elbow suicida towards the announce desk.
Moxley goes fror a sleeper hold but Strong fights out of it. Moxley gives Strong a free shot but comes back with a knee to the gut. Moxley looks for a pile driver but Strong counters and takes control with a couple of dives outside the ring and then lariats back in the ring.
Strong goes for a Stronghold but Moxley twists out of it. They end up outside again. Strong picks up Moxley and drives his left arm and back onto the steel steps. Back in the ring, Strong claws at Moxley’s back, a taste of his own medicine. Moxley fights out of the pinfall attempt.
Moxley takes a number of shots but bounces off the ropes and hits a big lariat. Moxley counters the Stronghold attempt. He then hits a cutter but Strong kicks out at two. A pile driver doesn’t keep Strong down either. Moxley gets a sleeper hold but Strong rolls towards the bottom rope.
A leaping knee strike to Moxley’s jaw. Stronghold gets locked in. Loser of this match is eliminated!
Moxley gets a Paradigm Shift but can’t capitalize quick enough. Moxley hits a Death Rider! Strong is down and his tournament is over.
Winner: Jon Moxley (2-0-1) gets three points as Roderick Strong (0-0-3) is mathematically eliminated in the Blue League.
Eddie Kingston is backstage and says he learned from his loss to AEW Men’s World Champion Samoa Joe. He puts his future opponents on notice. “I learn and I move forward.” He says he may be back at Collision.
2. Konosuke Takeshita, Hechicero, and AEW Unified Champion “The Rainmaker” Kazuchika Okada vs. The Elite for $1,000,000
Interesting to note, Okada comes out himself, after Takeshita, Hechicero, and Don Callis already get to the ring. Guess Okada’s entrance is that special, eh?
Matt and Nick Jackson come out with their OG BTE music.
Takeshita and Omega start for their teams. Takeshita eventually gets a kick in but Omega comes right back as he drops Takeshita. The Bucks tag in and hit back elbows. Okada tries to get in but the Young Bucks stop him.
Not sure if even Takeshita can see straight after a move like this!
What an ELITE triple team!

It would be great if AEW (or anyone, really!) could edit the feed to have Tweety birds around Takeshita’s head there.
Hechicero takes control against Omega and then tags in Okada. Takeshita goes for a double suplex with Okada but he doesn’t want it. Takeshita hits him and he and Hechicero drop Omega. Okada goes for another suplex on Omega but The Best Bout Machine counters!
Omega fights out of the wrong corner and sends Okada and Takeshita down. Takeshita hits him but Omega drops him and tags in Matt Jackson. Nick Jackson hits Hechicero with a back breaker.
The Young Bucks drop Okada. The Elite hit all three opponents with tope suicidas! Back in the ring, Hechicero hits Matt Jackson with a hammer lock and spins before a devastating backbreaker.
Okada has Matt Jackson in the ring but he fights off all three opponents. He hits Takeshita with a Stunner on the floor. Cazadora into a Bulldog and Matt Jackson buys himself some time, tagging in his brother Nick. Nick hits both Takeshita and Okada with a sweet double move, yelling out “LUCHA LIBRE!” as he does. Hechicero lands a massive hit but Nick counters and hits him back with a Canadian Destroyer!
Okada is legal and he calls out Omega. Cue the collective “OH SHIT!” Hechicero hits Nick with a guillotine leg drop. Omega hits Takeshita with a huge knee strike after a Blue Thunder Bomb to Nick.
Takeshita gets hit with a Sunset flip from the Bucks. Takeshita hits Matt Jackson with a massive drop but Omega breaks up the cover! Takeshita and Okada are still teasing their beef, more or less. Okada gets dropped and Takeshita doesn’t seem too apologetic. Something about “one’s own medicine”.
Omega hits all three with Snap Dragon Suplexes. Hechicero gets the V-Trigger and an assisted One-Winged Angel!
Winners: The Elite.
Don Callis has the bag with the prize money and tries to escape. Okada and Takeshita wipe them out and the two stare each other down. Don Callis tries to urge them to squash it, inadvertently leaving the money in the ring with The Elite.
Contract signing for the AEW Men’s World Championship Triple Threat match at Worlds End
Tony Schiavone is in the ring and makes the introductions. Any physicality will result in the aggressor forfeiting their title shot.
“Hangman” Adam Page enters first, followed by Swerve Strickland with his chain (with Prince Nana), and finally Samoa Joe (with Powerhouse Hobbs and HOOK).
Samoa Joe doesn’t want to hear Schiavone talk. Joe says he brought along Hobbs and HOOK so that the “volatile” energy that always surrounds Strickland and Page wouldn’t cause anyone any harm.
The crowd chants “Whose House? SWERVE’S HOUSE!”
Strickland reminds Joe that he’s back for the title. He says – after everything – he and Page have a common enemy. He reminds Joe of their last encounter. He tells both opponents that they cannot kill a god with bullets.
Page tells Joe and Strickland that they had their chances to win the title off of Moxley but that he did it at All In. He knew the two of them would come back when he won. He says Joe has become worse than the Death Riders “on their worst day”. He doesn’t want Joe to be remembered for this version of himself.
Page names Darby Allin, Will Ospreay (which the Manchester crowd loves, of course!), and Strickland as men he’d planned to defend the AEW Men’s World Championship against. Page says that he’s not sure who wins their 3-way but he IS sure it WON’T be Joe.
Schiavone announces the signatures and the lights go out.
The AEW World Championship Match is signed for- WHAT THE HELL IS @THE_MJF DOING HERE?!

MJF’s music hits and the crowd goes … wait for it … WILD! THIS IS NOW A 4-WAY MATCH AT WORLD’S END.
MJF singles out Page and says he needs to hurt him. He wants to beat Page and two of Page’s biggest rivals at once. Page’s fans will have no excuses that way. Joe tries to interrupt but MJF isn’t having it. He says the fans dictate who goes down as an all-time great. He says luck has run out for “Sloppy Joe”.
Almost insulted by MJF, Strickland says MJF should fear him most. MJF says Strickland, or “Shane”, reminds him of P. Diddy. MJF calls attention to Strickland’s run in WWE. He says Strickland’s title run was nowhere near as long as his own. MJF says it’s his house.
“The rent is due and the devil has come to collect!”
He reminds the others what is name is and drops the mic.
Backstage, JetSpeed relish their match in the Continental Classic. They both have matches on Collision.
3. Marina Shafir, “The Megasus” Megan Bayne, “The Fallen Goddess” Athena, and “The CEO” Mercedes Mone vs. Timeless Lovebombs and Babes of Wrath

Shafir tags in and Mina tags in as well but gets in after Cameron hits a leg sweep.
Bayne gets in but Shirakawa fights off both. Storm drops Shirakawa onto Shafir but the action breaks down, unsurprising to anyone familiar with matches with this many wrestlers involved.
Bayne has Cameron in a waist lock but she elbows her way out. Athena disrupts from the outside but Bayne gets hit with a DDT. Cameron tags in Storm and Bayne tags in Shafir. Storm goes after her without hesitation, capping a flurry with a DDT. Hip attack in the corner!

PAC hits a diving huricanrana out of nowhere, getting insane momentum without a running start. He walks right into a thrust kick and Fletcher gets up on the ropes. PAC meets him and hits an Avalanche belly-to-belly suplex!
Both are in the middle of the ring slugging it out. PAC hits a German Suplex but Fletcher counters with a Michinoku Driver! Two on the cover. Both again get up to their feet.
