It’s Saturday Night, and it’s Time for a Grand Slam Down Under. So you know what that means?
No, we won’t have a Kangaroo versus Koala match…yet.
And yes, you should never trust a holiday with the initials “VD.”
It’s time for All Elite Wrestling as the Aussies will see a stacked card, featuring Maxwell Jacob Friedman putting up the Triple B against Brody King, and local Kyle Fletcher defends the recently acquired TNT title against Mark Briscoe in a Ladder Match.
We come to you from the Qudos Bank Arena in Sydney, Australia. Tony Schiavone, and Excalibur have the call as your First Match of the Night is for the…
AEW Continental Championship: Jon Moxley (c) vs. Konosuke Takeshita
No Don Callis at ringside for Takeshita, which is interesting since this is the rubber match from the Continental Classic, with Takeshita wanting revenge.
As for the fans, there are dueling chants of, “Let’s go Mox-ley!/ Tah-kesh-da!” As the match startsa there is some nice chain wrestling as both men stare eye to eye. Then it’s chops ahoy, and Mox dives outside. They brawl on the floor, and Takeshita nails Mox with a running boot. A piledriver by Mox, and as the match goes on, it favors the head of the Death Riders. Takeshita stages a comeback, and he hits the Blue Thunder bomb for a two count. They battle up top, and a sunset flip is blocked momentarily, but Takeshita connects for a count of two. Mox stomps Takeshita on the apron edge and follows with another, but can’t finish him off.
As there are five minutes remaining, Mox attempts submissions, but The Alpha escapes. This is a nail biter until Mox spikes Takeshita with the Death Riders for a near fall, but then we hear the bell ring to announce…
Your Winner via a Time Limit Draw: Jon Moxley
Neither man is happy, and Takeshita delivers the Raging Fire to make a statement.
Both @JonMoxley and Konosuke Takeshita look to be upset about the time limit draw!

AEW Women’s Tag Team Championships: The Baes of Wrath (Willow Nightingale and Harley Cameron)( (c) vs. MegaBad (Megan Bayne and Penelope Ford)
The Aussies give a nice pop for Cameron as she goes right at Bayne. The Babes work as a tandem against MegaBad, but it isn’t long until Bayne and Ford take control, and Cameron is in trouble.
Nightingale tags in and runs roughshod over MegaBad, and during Picture in Picture, Bayne has her way with Nightingale, who is a Babe in Peril, and then…

We come back, and the Babes are in Control and full of Wrath. Ford stuns Cameron and goes for a dive, but misses the mark. Cameron turns it to a backslide, so…

Afterwards, Lena Kross knocks out Cameron after the match, and MegaBad have a meeting of the minds.

AEW World Title Number One Contender’s Match: “Hangman” Adam Page vs. Andrade El Idolo (with Don Callis)
Both men circle the ring, and Hangman is in control. A whip to the ropes, and Andrade is Tranquilo. Schiavone says he made “un mistake-o” (which is so cringe-y on my part) as Page battles outside the squared circle. Andrade gives a selfie for a “fan,” but Page gives her some “Cowboy S***.”
A fan was fortunate to get a couple of selfies, but @AndradeElIdolo wasn't as lucky!

We go back in the ring, and it favors the Hangman, but it isn’t long before El Idolo gets in the driver’s seat during Picture in Picture. Both men try to gain an advantage to no avail, and it isn’t until the go to apron edge that Page lands a Deadeye. Callis tries to interfere, and Page kicks Andrade in the uprights, and a Buckshot Lariat ends it.
Your Winner, and Number One Contender: “Hangman” Adam Page
Now for a hair-raising moment, this is an intergender match between…
“Freshly Squeezed” Orange Cassidy and “Timeless” Toni Storm vs. Marina Shafir and Wheeler Yuta
The stipulation is whoever gets pinned will have their head shaved. That will be important as Storm and Cassidy jump the Death Riders and they brawl in the stands. At one point Yuta piledrives Storm on the equipment, and Luther and the refs check in her.

From there, Shafir and Yuta gives Cassidy a workout while Storm is sent to the back by Luther and some refs. As thiungs look bleak, Storm heads down the ramp and saves Cassidy and they have a dance. Shafir gets Cassidy in an Ankle lock but Storm gets yuta in a crossface chickenwing.

Ladder Match for the AEW TNT Championship: Kyle Fletcher (with Don Callis) (c) vs. Mark Briscoe
This is a big moment for Fletcher as the Aussies, as they cheer on the ProtoStar.
We get a stare down and they swing for the fences, and there is more boos for Briscoe attacking the hometown hero.
The SEVENTH and final match between @KyleFletcherPro + @SussexCoChicken starts RIGHT NOW! pic.twitter.com/YZV6MOE5KC
— All Elite Wrestling (@AEW) February 15, 2026
They brawl outside the ring and the ladders start to come into play. At one point, Fletcher tosses Briscoe to the ropes and he bounces to the floor . He showcases his Redneck Kung Fu until Fletcher uses him as a lawn dart to the ladder in the corner.

Briscoe is busted open the bardway while Fletcher climbs, but the Sussex County champ stops him, and nopw Fletcher is spurting crimson. During Picture in Picture, they brawl outside the ring and Briscoe gives a froggy ‘bow to Fletcher on a ladder outside.

Fans are not happy as Briscoe climbs, but Fletcher stops him and powerbombs him to a ladder that snaps in half. The Protostar climbs, and Briscoe stops him, and as another ladder is positioned, FCletcher and Briscoe battle, and a Jay Driller collapses the champ as fans chant, “Holy S***!!” Fletcher comes back and delivers a brainbuster from the top of the ladder, but Briscoe won’t stay down. Once again they jockey for position on two different ladders. Fletcher knocks Briscoe off one and he reclaims the belt. Therefore…
Your Winner and Still AEW TNT Champion: Kyle Fletcher
A tough fight, but both men persevere down under.
Now we get to the Main Event, and this is for the…

AEW World Championship: MJF (c) vs. Brody King
We get the boxing-style intros from Arkady Aura. Once the bell rings, MJF ducks out of the ring to be with the people. King catches up and works over the champ because he can. Fans in Australia chant, “F*** him up, Brody. F*** him up! *clap clap*” and if ever you wondered about how a penal colony down under works, wonder no more.
(Did I say the quiet part out loud?)
Anyway, King goes for a cannonball, and MJF ducks out quickly, and he targets his knee, wrapping it around the ring post. Back in the ring, MJF works the bad leg and gives a kangaroo kick for the fans because…y’know. Aussies.

King lands with a running crossbody outside the squared circle and once he comes back in the ring, he nails the cannonball and connects for a close two count. The Gonzo Bomb gets reversed to a sleeper hold, and then Bandido runs out for support to his Brodido. MJF lands a heatseeker on the apron edge, but King recovers and then sends him to a chair with a running DVD. The ref counts, and King throws him back, barely missing the ten count. MJF loads up the AEW Diamond ring, but the ref catches hi red handed. King knocks him out and gives him a sleeper into a GonzoBomb for a close two count. They battle outside as MJF bites his knee, and the champ delivers a heatseeker to King, and MJF wins in one, two, and three.
After exposing the knee of @BrodyXKing, @The_MJF takes a BITE!
