Fresh off a massive win over Kansas City last night on Monday Night Football, Jacksonville looks to keep the good times rolling with AEW Dynamite Title Tuesday. Tony Khan aims for back-to-back wins as the Jaguars took down the Chiefs on QB Trevor Lawrence’s 26th birthday.
Back to wrestling, though!
Tonight’s card includes a Kyle vs. Kyle match as O’Reilly looks to win the TNT Championship from Fletcher after dropping some lore! As well, Jurassic Express will have their first tag-team match since 2022! The Hurt Syndicate take on The Demand in a 3v3 Street Fight! AEW Men’s Tag Team Champions Brodido take on Konosuke Takeshita and Kazuchika Okada of the (highly-populated) Don Callis Family!
And so much more!
The show starts with Excalibur saying “iiiiit’s Tuesday!”
Tony Schiavone is in the ring and announces that the night will start off with the AEW Men’s World Champion “Hangman” Adam Page and his challenger Samoa Joe going face-to-face.
Samoa Joe is flanked by Powerhouse Hobbs and Katsuyori Shibata before getting to the ring himself. No physicality at this time.
Page starts by quickly going over the times he’s been confused, including an instance where he might or might not have been proposed to. But he has never been as confused as he was last week when Samoa Joe threw a tantrum after they won a trios match against the Death Riders.
Page reminds Joe that he’s been angry with himself, “distracted from what’s important”. Page says he gave Joe this title shot because he owes his challenger from All In. He says he owes Joe for having his back in Texas. He will not let Joe take the title from him.
The crowd chants “Joe! Joe! Joe!” before he confirms Page’s statements. Joe doesn’t mind Page as champion, but he calls him the P word: Pretender. He says The Opps were the only ones to have Page’s back. Samoa Joe says he’s here to “collect on what’s owed”. He says he’s going to choke Page unconscious and win the title at WrestleDream.
Page is understandably pissed off. He doesn’t care what others think of him. He says his neck and head aren’t 100%. But he promises to outlast Joe. Page demands Joe shake his hand after he loses his title shot at WrestleDream.
Alicia Atout caught up with The Conglomeration earlier in the day. Mark Briscoe interrupts her and goes over the word of the day: “multifacefication”. Is that a word? But he goes over the three matches the faction has tonight.
Orange Cassidy ends with everyone putting their hands in… except for Roderick Strong. Jury’s still out on his comfort level with Kyle O’Reilly’s friends.
1. Jon Moxley vs. Tomohiro Ishii
The two join foreheads for a moment before trading elbow shots. Two of the hardest hitters.
Moxley tries a knee but Ishii jumps right back up. The two end up outside and continue with trading hits, chops this time. Moxley puts his opponent’s head into the ring post but Ishii barely feels it. Mox gets dropped as he gets his head against the ring post.
Marina Shafir gouges Ishii’s eyes behind the ref’s back and Moxley drops him against the barricade with a Missile Kick.
Back from commercial break, Ishii and Moxley are back in the ring and Moxley is in control of the Stone Pitbull. He goes after the eyes and nose. Ishii again eats all the shots and then stifles Moxley before a Brainbuster, despite bleeding from his nose. Ishii pivots and hits a Backdrop Suplex. Moxley is unable to hit a Stomp and Ishii headbutts him before a Lariat. Two on the cover.
A knee to Ishii’s jaw gives Moxley some respite. Moxley gets a Cutter but Big Tom kicks out. Moxley hits a stalling Piledriver but Ishii gets up.
That’s just rude… and effective

Renee Paquette was backstage earlier with the Young Bucks outside Tony Khan’s office. They need a money match but they’ll have their eyes on Jurassic Express tonight as the wildly over duo has their first match since 2022. They bought tickets to the show tonight.
After commercial, a video airs, wonderfully summarizing the story behind AEW Women’s World Champion Kris Statlander and “Timeless” Toni Storm and the build to their match at WrestleDream.
2. The Demand vs. The Hurt Syndicate in a Street Fight
The Demand immediately get a bunch of weapons out from under the ring as The Hurt Syndicate come out.
MVP, Shelton Benjamin, and Bobby Lashley are dressed up way too nice for this fight. Ricochet and MVP pair off as the other four tangle. Toa Liona drops Lashley onto folded steel chairs in the ring.
Chaos all over the place as the action is mostly outside of the ring.
Ricochet hides under a table outside the ring but MVP finds him and drags him out.
MVP hits him with a Suplex outside. As Ricochet is temporarily incapacitated, The Hurt Syndicate use their three-on-two advantage to put the hurt on Gates of Agony. Seemingly out of nowhere, Ricochet takes out everyone. If I were to get into a moshpit, this is how I’d make my entrance.
RICOCHET DIVES INTO THE PIT!

Back from commercial, Benjamin has a chair but Bishop Kaun ducks as he swings it. Kaun hits all three with Drop Kicks. Toa Liona drops MVP on the outside of the ring. Nothing but cement and a bit of padding there, kids.
Liona baits Lashley, leaning against a table. Kaun throws a chair at Lashley’s head. Liona deposits him into said table.
It’s mainly Bobby Lashley at this point as Benjamin and MVP are in the ring, unable to do much. Of course, as I type that, MVP fights back. Kaun goes for a cover on Benjamin – the first of the match – but he kicks out.
Ricochet hits a Shooting Star Press on Benjamin on a table but the table doesn’t give. MVP and Toa Liona go through and the table gives.
Benjamin lands a stiff knee strike to Kaun but Ricochet comes back at him. Another table set up in the corner, slanted. Ricochet gets sent over the ropes to the outside. Benjamin hits Kaun with a Release German Suplex. Ricochet dives in, taking the shot for Kaun.
Bobby Lashley gets back in and spears Kaun before doing the same to Ricochet. After some teasing, Liona gets a spear from Lashley as well. Benjamin and Ricochet are alone in the ring before MVP and Lashley get back in. Benjamin throws Ricochet into the corner, into the table. Down for the count.
Winners: The Hurt Syndicate via pinfall.
Renee Paquette is backstage with Don Callis. She asks him how he organizes for so many pieces. He says they’re bigger and stronger than everyone else so his job is easy.
3. Jurassic Express vs. “Two Other Guys”
Taz said it, not me. Jack Perry starts against “O’Ryan… or Ryan?” The Young Bucks are in the last row.
Huricanrana from Perry and he’s just getting warmed up. Luchasaurus clubs O’Ryan and just lets go after elevating him above his 6’7 head.
A fan gets a beach ball to Perry and they use it despite this not being a street fight like the previous match. Perry Powerbomb.
Winners: Jurassic Express via pinfall.
The Jacksons get to the ring and toss Perry into the barricade. A double low-blow to Luchasaurus followed by a BTE Trigger. Superkicks for Jack Perry.
The Jacksons call out Perry for a call back, a gut shot. They challenge Jurassic Express for WrestleDream.
The Death Riders are outside. PAC calls out Orange Cassidy and vows to beat him again. He wants to make him suffer. Wheeler Yuta says it’ll hurt him almost as much. Daniel Garcia says winners win.
4. Kyle Fletcher (c) vs. Kyle O’Reilly for the TNT Championship
The bell rings and the two size each other up for a bit before they lock up and Fletcher grabs O’Reilly’s wrist. The two lock up before Fletcher drops his challenger. The Canadian comes back with low kicks and palm strikes to the champion.
Kyle O’Reilly takes control with a shot outside the ring. Fletcher comes back with a Michinoku Driver in the ring.
Back from commercial, Fletcher gets dropped with a Knee Strike to the gut, followed by a German Suplex and then an Axe Kick. O’Reilly goes after the arm of Fletcher.
On the outside, Fletcher lands a kick to O’Reilly’s jaw. The challenger comes back with a Dragon Screw, sending Fletcher into a chair and he gets hit with a Missile Drop Kick.
Kyle O’Reilly throwing EVERYTHING (himself) at the TNT Champion!
Will he be able to defeat Kyle Fletcher?

Back in the ring, the two exchange heavy shots. O’Reilly uses the ropes to assist him on a beautiful DDT. He hits a German Suplex but Fletcher kicks out of the cover.
Fletcher gets locked in a Toe Hold and has to kick out. Fletcher caps off a flurry of moves with a Brainbuster after breaking a submission by running O’Reilly into the turnbuckle.
Winner: Kyle Fletcher retains via pinfall.
Lance Archer gets in the ring but Roderick Strong and Tomohiro Ishii. Rocky Romero gets involved, but this agitates Mark Briscoe enough to come out. Fletcher and Briscoe stare each other down before Fletcher backs down.
After commercial, Renee Paquette asks why Fletcher retreated. Fletcher says he’s beaten Briscoe twice. Paquette reminds him that Briscoe’s also beaten him twice. Fifth match will be at WrestleDream.
5. Mercedes Mone (c) vs. Lacey Lane for the TBS Championship
Lacey Lane says this is a dream match in a video that airs.
Lane gets Mone down with wrist control but Mone comes right back. Lane goes for a Drop Kick after a bunch of near falls. Lane connects with a big boot to Mone’s face.
Daaaaaaaaaamn

She comes back with a Knee Strike but Lane fights it off and hits a Rope Guillotine. Mone takes control during the commercial break, stifling her challenger.
Back from commercial, Lane hits a Drop Toe Hold and follows with a kick to Mone’s chest. The CEO hits Three Amigos. She goes for a Frog Splash but Lane gets her knees up.
Lane hits a Running Thrust Kick to Mone in the corner. Mone hits a Powerbomb, sending Lane into the buckles. She’s a step too fast and evades Mone.
A textbook Hammerlock Flatliner only keeps Mone down for two. Another quick pinfall again gets her two. Mone doesn’t have much behind these kick outs.
Mone hits a Mone Maker.
Winner: Mercedes Mone retains via pinfall.
Sammy Guevara talks his talk, calling out Eddie Kingston, and Beast Mortos grunts. Kingston isn’t getting sucked in. They’ll settle this Saturday on Collision.
6. Brodido vs. Konosuke Takeshita and Kazuchika Okada in a Double Jeopardy Eliminator Match
Whoever gets the pinfall earns a shot at the title. So, if either of Brody King or Bandido score the pin on either opponent, they earn a shot at Kazuchika Okada’s AEW Unified Title. If they get pinned, Okada and Takeshita get a Men’s Tag Team title shot.
Takeshita doesn’t seem thrilled that his intro got cut off for Okada’s. He walks to the ring before Okada.
Takeshita starts against Bandido. Bandido evades and Takeshita ends up eating a massive shot from King as he runs into the wrong corner. Okada tags himself in and immediately gets welcomed with a Senton from King.
Takeshita and Okada get the upper hand but both think of themselves as the Alpha. Ever met a group of wolves with two leaders?
King tags in Bandido and he can see the future because he evades a kick from Takeshita. The Alpha’s boot lands on the back of Okada’s head. Bandido gets Okada down and Takeshita is forced to break up the pinfall attempt.
Takeshita hits a Blue Thunger Bomb on Brody King but then realizes Bandido’s the legal man. He goes for Raging Fire but Bandido counters. Okada gets another strike from his partner as Bandido evades again. Bandido hits an X-Knee on Takeshita. He goes for the Twente One but his arm gives out.
Takeshita drops Bandido but Okada tags himself in. Rainmaker to Bandido.
Winners: Kazuchika Okada and Konosuke Takeshita via pinfall.
Takeshita is pissed off but Okada just walks up the ramp. Renee Paquette makes the announcement for the AEW Men’s Tag Team Championship match at WrestleDream.
Renee Paquette is backstage with JetSpeed and Willow Nightingale. They challenge FTR and Megan Bayne to a Mixed Trios match on Collision.
After commercial, Big Stoke and FTR are joined by Megan Bayne and Penelope Ford. After vowing victory Saturday, Megan Bayne says “top gods out.”
7. “Freshly Squeezed” Orange Cassidy vs. PAC
Both wrestlers agreed last week that all their allies – on both sides – will not interfere. This is the fifth time these two have wrestled each other. PAC has two wins, Cassidy has one, and the other match at Daily’s Place was a no-contest.
They start slow. Orange Cassidy goes for his pockets but The Bastard PAC stops him. he goes for an Imanari Roll and then cinches in a headlock.
If you’re not familiar with PAC’s technical prowess, this match will change that.
Cassidy clangs PAC’s head into the corner and then jumps on him. PAC catches Cassidy and hits a massive Falcon Arrow on the outside of the ring.
Cassidy goes for the head games as he’s a bit shook. He gets the better of PAC with forearm shots. The two trade boots before going to trading elbows.
Cassidy hits a PK after PAC fights out of a Beach Break.
Cassidy hits Stundog Millionaire on the floor and then Topes right into a DDT. Cassidy hits an Orange Punch. He goes to the top rope, hands in his pockets, before dropping himself onto PAC, breaking the timekeeper’s table.
Back in the ring, another DDT and a kip up! Another Orange Punch! PAC gets his foot on the rope to avoid the pinfall.
As Cassidy goes to the top rope, PAC rolls out slowly as he’s had done to him. PAC ends up in the stands and Cassidy follows. PAC counters and hits a Tombstone Piledriver.
As Cassidy rolls back, Darby chained PAC’s leg to the chain. He breaks free and the two get back to the ring. Cazadora.
Winner: “Freshly Squeezed” Orange Cassidy via pinfall.
Darby Allin takes out PAC andd then drops Wheeler Yuta. He pulls a taser out of a backpack, forcing Claudio Castagnoli and Daniel Garcia back. Jon Moxley can’t stop himself, even Marina Shafir can’t convince him to walk away.
Allin has a Molotov Cocktail ready to go and a security guard tackles him. The two are separated by security.
