Dynamite comes to us from across the pond this week with Forbidden Door this Sunday!
If you read the spoilers, I guess none of this will surprise you. But here we go! Not-so-live from the OVO Hydro in Glasgow!
Bryan Danielson’s music kicks off the show and the American Dragon enters, joining the commentary desk!

Ospreay and Moxley go face-fo-face right away. As expected, Ospreay comes out to a raucous crowd. He thanks the crowd for the warm reception and recalls how he worked a wrestling show and cracks a joke about Americans’ drinking capacity. Rightfully so. The UK might be unmatched in that regard.
The crowd starts cheering like it’s a footy match.
“You’re not just people, you’re my people!”
He says he wasn’t cleared for Forbidden Door so he’s going to make it his own. The Lights Out Steel Cage match rids AEW of fault for anything that could happen in the match. Ospreay says he’s comfortable taking the risk because home means so much to him. He wants to be the standard for AEW.
The Aerial Assassin wants revenge, “bruv.” He wants to take a pound of flesh from Moxley before they take a scalpel to his neck.
As he finishes speaking, the Death Riders’ music hits and Moxley and Marina Shafir enter the arena.
Bryan Danielson’s eyes are focused on Moxley as he approaches the ring. Claudio Castagnoli and Wheeler Yuta show up and Ospreay dares Moxley to do the job himself. JetSpeed enter to make the save before things get bad. Hiroshi Tanahashi’s music hits and he singles out Moxley.
1. Death Riders vs. Hiroshi Tanahashi and JetSpeed
Moxley gouges the Ace’s eyes and lays into him a bit before tagging in Yuta.
Tanahashi lands a Dragon Screw before bringing in Speedball. Speedball’s kicks, in Danielson’s own words, are more impressive than those of the American Dragon.
Mike Bailey turns Wheeler Yuta into an unwitting pendulum as #AEWDynamite continues on TBS and HBO Max

Marina Shafir pulls down Kevin Knight and the ref sees it! She’s tossed from ringside. Castagnoli takes Bailey for a spin but Knight stops him. Ospreay quietly comes out and grabs Shafir, taking her away as Moxley utters an emphatic “WTF” before we cut to commercial.
We come back to see the Death Riders having isolated Kevin Knight in their corner. Knight fights back with a Dropkick.
After a bucnh of commotion, Tanahashi nails Yuta with a Slingblade. All three nail a Twist and Shout on their opponents. Gabe Kidd, Clark Connors, and Drilla Moloney disrupt to help out the Death Riders.
Tanahashi pins Yuta.
Winners: Hiroshi Tanahashi and JetSpeed.
Ospreay shows up with a body bag that presumably has Marina Shafir inside. The Young Bucks connect on a Stereo Superkick with Ospreay, dropping him. Pandemonium erupts as the body bad opens and it’s Darby Allin!
Conglomeration and The Opps join the fight in fighting off the Death Riders. Allin hits a Coffin Drop in the stands. Ospreay’s music hits as he and his allies stand tall.
We come back and Tony Schiavone introduces The Rated-R Superstar. The crowd wastes no time in singing along, continuing as the music cuts out.
Chrisitan Cage comes out next and the crowd isn’t as enthusiastic, understandably so.
Cage gets a mixed reaction. Cope says that Cage might be an a-hole, but he’s Cope’s a-hole. I mean, where is the lie?
Cage says he’s perfect the way he is. He says he and Cope aren’t on the same page but they’re “at least writing in the same book”. Cage says it’s a reunion out of necessity. Cope will help with Nick and Kip and Cage with help with FTR. Cage says his word hasn’t meant much to Cope but that Cope can rely on the “best tag team partner” he’s ever had.
They get interrupted by Kip Sabian and Mother Wayne. Nick Wayne shows up on the video screen and has crutches, saying he has a broken foot.
He will be replaced by Luchasaurus!
OH SHIT

Luchasaurus choke-slams both Cope and Cage as Mother Wayne and Kip Sabian join him in the ring to stand tall over their fallen foes.
Mark Briscoe shows up backstage quickly to say he’s going to end MJF Sunday.
MJF shows up as Ricochet and Gates of Agony find a commonality with Maxwell as they form an alliance.
2. FTR (with Big Stoke) vs. Brodido
Dax Harwood starts against Bandido.
Harwood takes advantage with a shoulder tackle. Cash Wheeler tries to get in Bandido’s head by tapping him from the outside as he’s around there.
Harwood gets irate and tries numerous times to enter a chair into the fray but referee Paul Turner is having none of it!

Big Stoke dons a steel pipe concealed in his arm sling and cuts up Brody King’s forehead. He’s able to roll to his corner and make the vital tag to Bandido.
Bandido goes for a Moonsault over the ropes but FTR catches him, turning momentum in their favor. Bandido does his best to take the offense back to Harwood as they trade heavy shots.
Back from commercial break, Bandido is in the middle of the ring fighting off both opponents. He hits them both with a Double Huricanrana. Brody King inserts himself as only he can, crashing roughly into Wheeler on the outside.
Who wouldn’t want this beast in their corner?
Brody King gets hit by a Shatter Machine but makes the tag to Bandido as the 25-min mark passes in this 30-min limit match. Bandido gets set up for another Shatter Machine but King makes the save. King gets hit with a Piledriver on the apron. Bandido counters another Shatter Machine with a DDT on Wheeler.
Bandido unsuccessfully goes for Twente twice and gets hit by a Shatter Machine! FTR can’t finish it as King makes the save with a minute left! FTR go for a table just before the 30-second mark.
The time expired just as Wheeler crashes into a table on the outside! Bandido finally hits his move on Harwood but it’s after the time limit.
Arkady Aura announces that the match Sunday will be a three-way!
Bobby Lashley and Shelton Benjamin come to the ramp and stare at their four opponents, titles on their shoulders.
The match finishes in a draw and Sunday’s title match will be a three-way with The Hurt Syndicate defending against both FTR and Brodido.
A promo package airs for Swerve Strickland vs. Kazuchika Okada on Sunday.
“Hangman” Adam Page’s music hits and he walks out with purpose. He dares MJF to come to the ring for a fight tonight but he knows his Forbidden Door opponent won’t do so. Page says he’s going to shove his size 12 shoes somewhere. MJF’s music hits but he doesn’t show. Schiavone says there’s a cameraman with MJF backstage.
MJF is backstage with Ricochet and GoA, with Mark Briscoe tied and gagged. MJF has three demands: he can win via DQ, he can win via count-out, and that he doesn’t have to use his Casino Gauntlet contract. He has a lighter and Page gives in to the demands. He runs backstage with a chair in hand.
Back from commercial, Page rushes Ricochet with a chair and nails him in the back, trying to find MJF.

3. Mercedes Mone and Athena vs. “Timeless” Toni Storm and Alex Windsor
Windsor starts off against Mone and Mone is sent reeling a bit as Windsor uses her power advantage to take early control. Both makes tags and Storm first nuzzles her nose against Mone’s face before Athena enters.
Storm halts Mone’s momentum in a way that only she might be able to.
A great defense can stall a great offense

Athena gets involved and drops Storm before yelling loudly at Mone to “get it together”. Mone holds the ropes open and Athena flies out with a Tope Suicida, crashing into Alex Windsor but seemingly getting the worst of the exchange.
Back from commercial, Windsor tags in Storm after Athena misfires and hits Mone. Mone gets tagged, unbeknownst to Storm, Mone and Athena drag Storm to their corner.
Storm hits a DDT off the bottom rope on Athena, breaking free from her grasp. She isn’t able to move for the tag for a good stretch. Danielson points out that Storm didn’t move for about 15-20 seconds. But she was biding her time. Windsor gets tagged in and uses her strength and speed.
Athena spikes Storm’s head onto the steel steps on the outside of the ring!
Windsor counters a submission in the ring, nailing Mone with a Samoan Drop. She cinches in a Scorpion Deathlock on Mone, making her tap! But Mone isn’t legal!
Athena hits the O-Face.
Winners: Athena and Mercedes Mone.
Mone gets in Persephone’s grill and gets pushed to the mat.
