This week’s Dynamite comes to you from the Pearl Theatre at the Palms Casino in Las Vegas, as we’re just two weeks away from ALL IN: London. There’s plenty of action as the Continental Cup first round matches continue, as well as TNT Champion “The Jet”
defends his title against Chris Jericho, and etc.
The show opened with Will Ospreay, the Brit talked about his grandfather passing away last week and reminised about him. He then proceeded to call out Kenny Omega, but it was Don Callis who came out, soon enough he was being attacked by the DCF, Kenny makes the save and afterwards says to Will that he cannot save him like this any longer. Ospreay says he appreciates but doesn’t need the help.
MJF vs Nick Wayne vs Speedball Mike Bailey – Number Two Spot In Casino Gauntlet
Almost immediately MJF went outside the ring leaving Nick and Speedball to go at it for a while. MJF sees an opening and takes advantage, all while pissing off the entire audience. Eventually MJF ends up securing the second spot with Salt of the Earth on Wayne after Bailey was out of the picture. After the match, he reiterates on winning the Casino Gauntlet at ALL IN, then pulled a fast one on everyone by having them play Andrade’s theme. Just like last week ends his promo by saying that he’s “One True Champion”.

We cut to the Brawling Birds with the Divine Dominion there, they run down the Birds for seemingly only getting a title shot because it’s their home country and promised to beat them infront of their loved ones.
Backstage with Mick Foley and full Bang Bang Gang as Jay White talks about his imminent match with David Finlay, and finally settling the score with David. He ends it with promising victory tonight for him and by association the Bang Bang Gang.
Jay White vs David Finlay – Continental Cup First Round
Meeting for the first time in 5 years, there was no love lost between the two but it was Jay who had the advantage for the opening section until David was able to get ahead. He then spent beating down the former IWGP World Heavyweight Champion, you could hear some faint dueling chants for both. Jay White advances to the quarter final of the cup with a Blade Runner. The match never really got out of second gear, it isn’t bad by any means, it never reached the heights it could have.

In the ring with Tony Schiavone as he introduces the new AEW World Trios Champion, Brodido and Hangman Adam Page. All three men seemed excited and was interrupted by Swerve. He is shocked to see these trio being Trios champions as he has history with all of them and starts recounting it. Just as things were heating up, The Demand and The Lethal Twist made an interruption of their own. Ricochet says the Trios title still belongs to them and asks Swerve to leave, which he seemingly does. Hangman then lays out the challenge to the Demand but Ricochet says they’ll do it on their time.
A clip was shown of Mercedes Mone doing a blindside attack on AEW World Women’s Champion, Willow Nightingale as she was doing an interview with Renee Paquette ahead of their matches at ALL IN.
“The Jet” Kevin Knight vs Chris Jericho – TNT Championship Match
Jericho was pulling out the big moves, a delayed brain buster and avalanche hurricanrana all in the opening minutes. Knight eventually got control of the match with his agility being too much for the veteran to keep up. In the end, Knight looked to be in trouble as he was in the Walls of Jericho, but Callis saved things with a screwdriver to the head. A low blow followed by a Crash Landing had the champion retaining his title. A fun match, Jericho mostly kept up with the young gun while Knight was selling his ass off for Jericho. Very good.

We head backstage to hear from the Death Riders. Claudio addresses not knowing who he faces in the next round, but says he doesn’t care. Mox then acknowledged the fact that his own run as champion could come to an end tonight, then asks if Perry is ready like he is.
Kris Statlander vs Viva Van
The former TBS and Women’s World Champion quickly dispatches of her opponent with an Inverted Wednesday Night Fever. It was a quick squash match to heat Statlander up.
Winner – Kris Statlander
Following this, Foley headed to the ring to inform her that she’s taking part in a Four way match for the TBS Championship alongside the champion Maya World, Persephone and Hikaru Shida
Maya World & Thunder Rosa vs Persephone & Hikaru Shida
Maya and Persephone kicks things off, with Persephone taking control before tagging in Shida to lay it in. Later Rosa gets caught in the crossfire and it required a hot tag to Maya to get things on their side. Miscommunication between Persephone and Shida allowed Maya to take advantage and get the pinfall victory.
Winners – Maya World & Thunder Rosa
Statlander joined them in the celebration post match. The match set up a lot of beats for next week’s 4 way to follow, should be good.
Cut to Darby Allin backstage, he says that he has no regrets about his World Title run and admits to burning the candle at both ends and that Kevin Knight has been doing the same. He further adds that he beats him one more time at ALL IN he shows exactly the potential that Darby has known about him.
Backstage we are with Kyle Fletcher, who says he’s had three title defenses in three countries, so number four will be in the United Kingdom. He gets annoyed when Don Callis informs him that he’ll be facing with Konosuke Takeshita and Kazuchika Okada in a triple threat match. Callis says this more or less ensures that the title stays with the family which Okada agrees with, but Kyle is clearly displeased.
Jon Moxley vs Jack Perry – Continental Cup First Round
Both men trade offense until the champion gets Perry down on the mat, but he quickly gets to his feet and the back and forth continues until Mox catches Perry with a forearm when going for a dive. Both were throwing everything at each other refusing to lose the match, however Moxley was able to lock in the Bulldog choke on Perry, he tried multiple times to get back on his feet and power through it but dropped to his knees and eventually faded. A sign of respect post match as they shook hands as the show went off the air. Great main event to end the show, both men bought their A game to deliver the fans a match that was worth it.
