Welcome to AEW Dynamite: Maximum Carnage! Phoenix, AZ is going to be ‘lit’, as the kids say these days.
Earlier today, Samoa Joe called out “Hangman” Adam Page a fool for his continued chase of the AEW Men’s World Championship. He puts a bounty on Page. Bryan Keith wants revenge for their first match three years ago. Keith wants to make it personal.
1. Darby Allin vs. “The Bastard” PAC
On his way to the ring with the Death Riders, PAC says he’ll do this himself. But as he gets close to the ring, Allin launches himself at the Englishman before the match even formally begins!
The two fight up to the upper bowl of the seats. Allin hits a Coffin Drop from the second level, cuing “A E DUB!” chants.
Back towards the ring, PAC plays possum and then drives Allin into the barricade, going right into a German Suplex after that. He follows with a Belly-to-Belly Suplex onto the steel steps!
This may be one of the most painful things we’ve ever seen… and the match hadn’t even started yet…

Negative give on those steel steps.
PAC brings Allin into the ring and the bell finally rings! PAC hits a lariat but Allin kicks out at two. PAC slingshots Allin’s face into the second rope and Allin again has to kick out of a cover. Another cover from a bridging German Suplex and Allin has to kick out yet again.
Back from commercial, both are on the top rope and Allin mounts a comeback. He hits a top rope Missile Dropkick. He follows up with a Coffin Splash off the ropes, forcing PAC into the corner. PAC picks him up and sends him flying into the corner.
PAC hits an Awesome Bomb from the ring, sending Allin to the entrance not-ramp. Allin dives back in the ring at the nine count, no doubt agitating PAC. Allin flips both birds. PAC gets off the rope and his ankle gives. Allin goes for an ankle pick. Coffin Drop to the outside of the ring.
Coffin Drop from the top rope onto the apron, but Allin gets some damage as well. The referee is down and Allin gets the Scorpion Death Lock. PAC taps but the ref is out! Scorpion Death Drop for Wheeler Yuta as he interrupts. Another for PAC. Allin sets the chair around PAC’s ankle and hits a Coffin Drop onto the chair! Scorpion Death Lock! PAC taps.
Winner: Darby Allin.
PAC was the final member of the Death Riders that Allin hadn’t beaten in singles competition, until tonight.
2. “The Bounty Hunter” Bryan Keith (with Big Bill) vs. “Hangman” Adam Page
Keith tries attacking from behind but Page defends well. Page sends Keith to the floor outside the ring.
Page lands a bunch more shots. Trying to bounce off the ropes, Big Bill momentarily grabs Page’s ankle, giving Keith the advantage as he sends Page into the corner and wears him down with his foot on Page’s jaw.
Back from commercial break, the two are in the center of the ring and Keith lands a boot from the corner. Drop Toe Hold and a Knee Strike. Cover after the Exploder but Page kicks out.
Page hits a Fallaway Slam and then springs up to his feet. Two right hands. Lariat. Keith kicks out of the cover. Keith hits a Belly-to-Belly Suplex into the turnbuckles. Page gets caught on the outside by Big Bill but Swerve Strickland chokes him out with a chain!
Big Bill went from choker to being choked as Swerve Strickland evened the odds for Hangman Page!

Strickland enters the ring and Page has a mic. He tells Keith to try collecting his bounty. He calls out Samoa Joe and says he’s going to take everything. Strickland adds a message for MJF, saying both he and Page will be on the hunt.
Kenny Omega’s music hits. He joins the two in the ring. He wants to prove it to himself and to the fans. He wants to earn it, not taking advantage of his EVP status. Page says it’s a singles title and the two shake hands. Strickland seems less than impressed.
Don Callis’ music hits as Omega is about to speak. He comes out with Josh Alexander, Lance Archer, and Rockey Romero. Callis likes MJF but doesn’t care that MJF has associations with Omega. Callis challenges Omega to wrestle Josh Alexander. Omega says he’s ready for a fight right now.
Callis says next week. The crowd boos. Alexander seems ready but Callis has other plans. Omega says tonight was regardless phase one!
Renee Paquette is backstage with Brody King. Jonathan Cruz interrupts. King says it’s his turn to put the hurt on Cruz.
3. Brody King vs. Jonathan Cruz
King flattens Cruz with one hit. Cruz evades a corner hit but King doesn’t care. He doesn’t break a sweat. making quick work of MJF’s mouthpiece.
Winner: Brody King.
4. Davis and Doyle (with Don Callis) vs. JetSpeed vs. Gates of Agony (with Ricochet) vs. The Young Bucks for a future Men’s World Tag Title Shot
The Bucks dive right at Davis and Doyle. JetSpeed do the same to Gates of Agony. Then the four swap. The Bucks and JetSpeed are alone in the ring. The two teams exchange a number of counters before the other two teams rejoin the ring and gets their turn. JetSpeed climb the ropes and hit Missile Drop Kicks.
The Young Bucks take control and work with JetSpeed. Davis and Doyle powerbomb all four of them!

Gates of Agony rush in and clear the ring of Davis and Doyle. Bishop Kaun assists as Toa Liona takes out everyone on the outside.
Back from commercial, Davis and Doyle take control. The Young Bucks take both of them out. JetSpeed and the Young Bucks drop the other two teams and launch themselves off each of the corners onto their opponents. Bailey hits his backflip knees and Knight launches himself off the top rope with a lariat.
Gates of Agony takes both Young Bucks on his shoulders. Bailey hits his knees off the top rope! Knight lands his lariat off the ropes. The Young Bucks go on a Superkick spree.
Ricochet interrupts the pinfall! “Jungle” Jack Perry flies out of nowhere and gets him out of the way. Davis and Doyle single out Knight in the ring, landing the pinfall.
Winners: Mark Davis and Jake Doyle.
AEW Men’s World Tag Team Champions FTR enter the ring and stare down their next challengers. They start brawling and security and referees pour into the ring.
SkyFlight are backstage. Zayda Steel is their newest member.
5. Cosmic Babes of Wrath vs. Triangle of Madness
Statlnader starts against Thekla. Thekla evades and tags in Hart. Front Facelock by Statlander. Caza Dora attempt by Hart but Statlander drops her.
Cameron tags in and hits a sling blade on Hart. Nightingale tags in and then drops Cameron onto Hart. Hart kicks out. Skye Blue tags in and lands a knee to Nightingale. Nightingale comes back with a cartwheel Enziguri. Statlander and Nightingale hit a Long Island Railroad on Blue but she fights out of it. Blue hammers down elbows onto Cameron as she takes control.
Back from commercial, Thekla has Cameron in a Face Lock but Cameron fights out. Statlander takes out the Sisters of Sin on her own after her and Nightingale get dropped off the corner.
Statlander tags in and goes right at Thekla. Julia Hart tries to interfere but a Backbreaker. Catapults Skye Blue into the corner. Knee to Thekla’s head. Hook Drive. Blue disrupts the pinfall.
Blue hits a DDT on Statlander. Spinebuster from Nightingale. Roundhouse kick from Thekla. Statlander tags Cameron and she tags Nightingale. Senton cover but Hart breaks it up!
Sisters of Sin single out Cameron. Statlander takes both of them out. Thekla takes down Statlander. Nightingale runs Thekla over. Statlander pushes Nightingale out of the way of the Toxic Spider. Statlander takes the pinfall.
Winners: Triangle of Madness.
Renee Paquette is backstage with JetSpeed and they’re met by Swerve Strickland with words of encouragement. After Strickland leaves, Adam Page comes. Page and JetSpeed on Saturday for the AEW Men’s Trios Championships!
The Rascalz are on their way to AEW.
6. MJF (c) vs. Bandido for the AEW Men’s World Championship
Bandido tries an immediate roll-up but MJF kicks out. The two exchange a flurry of moves, neither really giving an inch.
MJF gets knocked down and takes his time, gaining the advantage. Back and forth these two go.
Getting the better of the extended exchange, MJF lands a kick to the shoulder / jaw and then drops Bandido head-first. MJF covers but Bandido is forced into a kickout a bit later than he might have liked to.
Back from commercial, MJF goes for the Three Amigos but Bandido blocks the last one. His left arm is still feeling the effects his match with Hechicero. Bandido is somehow able to pick up the AEW Men’s World Champion and drop him on his backside!
Swinging DDT. Bandido picks up MJF with one hand and drops him again. MJF comes back with a Stomp on the left arm. MJF kicks out of a pinfall attempt.
One of them does this better than the other.
MJF’s mind games seemed to cost him for a moment, but the World Champion locks in on Bandido’s arm

Bandido takes flight, landing on MJF over the top rope. Bandido lands on his left side but he’s fired up regardless! MJF goes to the outside of the barricade. Bandido goes from the top rope and dives on top of him, channeling his inner Kevin Knight!
TorKneeO from the top rope but MJF kicks out. Code Red. MJF kicks out at two again!
Twente One Plex but MJF holds onto the ropes. MJF lands a high boot to Bandido’s jaw. MJF hits a Cutter but Bandido kicks out of a Parallel Press cover. Shooting Star Press, but MJF kicks out yet again!
MJF hits a Small Package and the two go back and forth again and again with neither staying down for three. X-Knee from Bandido. Twente One Plex! Bandido can’t keep the bridge. He gets his left arm onto MJF but MJF grab his left arm! Bandido tries to reach for the ropes. MJF cinches in the LaBell Lock!
Winner: MJF.
MJF grabs a mic and calls for his music to cut. Clearly spent, MJF gives Bandido his due. Rare show of sportsmanship. He says Bandido will be world champion one day. He says he has to attack Bandido. It’s all a game, of course.
He goes to pull of Bandido’s mask but Brody King rushes out before it’s too late.
