AEW Dynamite returned at a crucial moment in the promotion’s calendar, with the road to AEW Grand Slam: Australia now firmly underway. With eliminator matches shaping championship pictures and multiple factions colliding across the card, the February 4 episode leaned heavily into escalation rather than reset, positioning several major players for defining moments in the weeks ahead.
By the time the broadcast ended, the AEW landscape had shifted dramatically. Brody King had scored a clean eliminator victory over the AEW World Champion, Ricochetsurvived a chaotic National Championship defence against Jack Perry, and the already volatile triangle involving MJF, Kenny Omega, and Andrade El Idolo exploded into open conflict.
The Don Callis Family (El Clon, Josh Alexander and Konosuke Takeshita) vs. Death Riders (Daniel Garcia, Jon Moxley and Pac)
AEW Dynamite opened with chaos as two of AEW’s most aggressive factions collided. The Don Callis Family entered flanked by arrogance and cohesion, while the Death Riders brought an edge that suggested violence was inevitable rather than optional.
Josh Alexander and Daniel Garcia began with crisp grappling exchanges before the match quickly broke down into a six-man brawl. Tags came fast, and the referee struggled to maintain control as Pac and El Clon traded explosive counters while Jon Moxley stalked Konosuke Takeshita with intent.
The Death Riders appeared close to victory when Garcia locked in the Dragon Tamer, only for Alexander to break the hold at the last moment. The closing stretch saw bodies scattered around ringside, with Moxley wiping out multiple opponents before Takeshita isolated Garcia inside the ring.
A coordinated assault followed, with Alexander and El Clon restraining Garcia long enough for Takeshita to land Raging Fire and secure the pinfall. The win reinforced the Don Callis Family’s growing dominance and sent a clear message to anyone circling the World Championship picture.
Winners: The Don Callis Family
Toni Storm and Orange Cassidy vs. Brittnie Brooks and Jordan Oasis
After an intense opener, Dynamite shifted gears with an unlikely but increasingly effective pairing. Toni Storm and Orange Cassidy brought contrasting energies to the ring, blending Storm’s ferocity with Cassidy’s deceptive calm.
Cassidy baited Jordan Oasis early, hands in pockets, before exploding with a shotgun dropkick that swung momentum instantly. Storm dominated Brittnie Brooks with suplexes and sharp strikes, controlling the pace while Cassidy neutralised Oasis whenever he attempted to interfere.
The finish came after Storm flattened Brooks with a Tornado DDT, and Cassidy followed with the Orange Punch on Oasis for the decisive victory.
Post-match, attention shifted to AEW Grand Slam: Australia, where Storm and Cassidy will face Marina Shafir and Wheeler Yuta in a hair-versus-hair stipulation. Storm promised to leave Shafir unrecognisable, while Cassidy vowed to take pride in the punishment to come.
Winners: Toni Storm and Orange Cassidy
Darby Allin Abducted Outside The Arena
A chilling segment aired next, showing Darby Allin being attacked outside the arena by Gabe Kidd and Clark Connors. The pair ambushed Allin and forced him into the boot of a car, escalating a storyline that immediately felt far more dangerous than anything previously seen.
The angle cast a shadow over the remainder of the broadcast.
“Hangman” Adam Page vs. Mark Davis
“Hangman” Adam Page continued his slow burn return toward title contention against Mark Davis, who was desperate to rebound following a recent tag team setback.
Davis leaned heavily on his size advantage, chopping Page down and punishing him on the outside. Page absorbed the damage before rallying with a moonsault into the crowd, igniting the audience and shifting momentum.
The match reached a dramatic peak on the entrance ramp, where Page survived a Tombstone and responded with Dead Eye before finally landing the Buckshot Lariat inside the ring to score the win.
Afterwards, Page grabbed a microphone and put both Kenny Omega and MJF on notice, making it clear that he intends to be part of the AEW World Championship conversation in Australia.
Winner: “Hangman” Adam Page
Kenny Omega vs. Andrade El Idolo
With Don Callis joining commentary, the long-simmering rivalry between Kenny Omega and Andrade El Idolo took centre stage.
The match blended technical wrestling with growing hostility. Omega controlled early with speed and power, while El Idolo targeted the leg to slow him down and neutralise the One Winged Angel.
Near-falls mounted as both men dug deep. Omega landed a V-Trigger and looked ready to finish the match, but Callis provided a timely distraction. El Idolo capitalised with a low blow and followed with the DM to steal the victory.
After the bell, Swerve Strickland confronted El Idolo, only for Omega to step in. The situation nearly exploded before security flooded the ring.
Winner: Andrade El Idolo
AEW Women’s World Tag Team Title Eliminator: MegaBad (Megan Bayne and Penelope Ford) vs. Babes Of Wrath (Harley Cameron and Willow Nightingale) (c)
Champions Babes of Wrath faced a serious challenge from MegaBad, with Megan Bayne’s power immediately shifting the tone.
Willow Nightingale absorbed punishment but refused to stay down, while Harley Cameron fought desperately to isolate Penelope Ford. Despite their resilience, MegaBad’s cohesion proved decisive.

In a pre-taped video, Tommaso Ciampa issued an open challenge for the TNT Championship on Collision, declaring that his reign had only just begun and daring anyone to step up.
AEW National Championship: Ricochet (c) vs. Jack Perry
The National Championship match erupted before the bell, with Jack Perry ambushing Ricochet on the entrance ramp. Perry controlled the early stretch, raining down strikes and using his speed to keep the champion off balance.
Ricochet weathered the storm and responded with explosive counters, but the match soon descended into chaos. The Gates of Agony appeared at ringside, followed shortly by The Young Bucks, creating confusion that the referee struggled to contain.
In the chaos, Ricochet exposed the National Championship belt and sent Perry crashing into it before landing Vertigo to retain the title in controversial fashion.
Winner: Ricochet
Disturbing Footage Of Darby Allin Revealed
Backstage, Kidd and Connors hijacked the broadcast once more, airing footage of Darby Allin sealed inside a body bag and dragged behind their vehicle. The segment left the audience unsettled and raised serious questions about Allin’s condition.
AEW World Title Eliminator: MJF (c) vs. Brody King
The main event delivered a shock. Brody King attacked immediately, catching MJF completely off guard.
King overwhelmed the champion with a sleeper hold, followed by a cannonball in the corner and a decisive piledriver to score a clean eliminator victory. The arena erupted as King earned his World Championship opportunity.
Chaos followed. Andrade attacked MJF, Page wiped out Andrade, and King ultimately stood tall, holding the AEW World Championship above his head as Dynamite went off the air.
