Tonight is the go-home show for Full Gear. A loaded card for a three-hour show (Dynamite/Collision) airs from the Agganis Arena in Boston, MA.
With major implications up and down the card, arguably the biggest moment tonight will be when this question gets answered: Will Mercedes Mone’s title collection surpass the numbers of Don Callis’ army? Both totals currently sit at 13.
Speaking of the Don Callis Family, AEW Unified Champion “The Rainmaker” Kazuchika Okada battles CMLL World Trios Champion Mascara Dorada with future title implications.
Elsewhere on the card, Bobby Lashley and Ricochet battle to determine the #1 entrant in Saturday’s Casino Gauntlet for the AEW National Championship. Shelton Benjamin and “Speedball” Mike Bailey will square off for the #2 position.
“BOSSSSSTONNNNN! Say hello… to your CEO!”
1. Bobby Lashley vs. Ricochet for the #1 spot in the Casino Gauntlet at Full Gear
Ricochet grabs a mic as the bell rings. The crowd is not into it. He starts off by shouting out the Philadelphia Eagles. Go Birds!
He next corrects MVP, who mistakenly called the title the “International Championship”. Fine, but the match is underway… Lashley seems to have a lot of patience for Ricochet’s mouth. He finally snaps. He tosses Ricochet and wipes out Bishop Kaun and Toa Liona.
THANK YOU BOBBY (clap x5)

Backstage, Samoa Joe reminds “Hangman” Adam Page that his world is about to get very different. Katsuyori Shibata stares at the camera with his arms crossed the whole time, saying nothing.
Renee Paquette joins the Young Bucks and asks if they’re going to join the DCF. Don Callis himself interrupts her and they don’t seem too impressed by his presence.
Don Callis introduces them from backstage. Full Gear three years ago was November 19th.

Nick Jackson starts off against Dante Martin. Jackson gets the better of the opening exchange.
The two match each other’s moves and then the crowd boos as Josh Alexander and Darius Martin tag in. Alexander gets the better of him before Martin counters with a solid kick. SkyFlight get three quick tags and all of them work over Matt Jackson. Nick fights back on the apron.

The Martins come back with a great move on Alexander but The Young Bucks break up the pinfall. Dante avoids the BTE Trigger and takes out the Jacksons as he flies over the top rope. The Young Bucks prevent Sky and Darius from entering as Alexander cinches in an ankle lock on Dante. He taps.
Winners: The Young Bucks and Josh Alexander.
Callis, Mark Davis, Rocky Romero, and Hechicero join The Young Bucks in the ring. Callis reminds the Jacksons that they’ve been on the come-up since he’s been helping them. Callis has a threat for them.
Kenny Omega’s music hits and he enters with a steel chair. He wipes out Romero and Davis. He and Alexander go after it and The Young Bucks pull him back. Alexander gets an ankle lock in on Omega. Callis tells him to leto go, wanting The Young Bucks to hit a BTE Trigger. Callis gets some shots in on Omega himself.
They grab Omega’s arms and Jurassic Express make the save!
Renee Paquette is backstage with the Babes of Wrath. They are ready for anything and they don’t care who’s in their way.
3. Shelton Benjamin vs. “Speedball” Mike Bailey for the #2 spot in the Casino Gauntlet at Full Gear
The two shake hands before going at it. Bailey gets Benjamin in the corner but he comes back with a knee to the gut, then dropping Bailey to the outside.
Benjamin throws Bailey into the barricade after the two go back-and-forth. Back in the ring, Bailey goes for a few submission attempts but Benjamin powers out of them.
Bailey gets caught on the outside and slammed onto the floor. between the entrance and the ring. After a commercial break, Bailey is forced to kick out as Benjamin – in MVP’s words – is “playing with his food”. MVP wants Benjamin to finish it quickly like he knows the Standard of Excellence can.
Benjamin kicks out at one after a Shooting Star Press from Bailey. Bailey tries for an armbar but Benjamin sends them both over the top rope, breaking the potential submission. Bailey counters a huricanrana on the outside and Benjamin hits his head on the barricade. He runs back into the ring at the count of nine, only to get a boot from Bailey.
Backflip knee drop, Benjamin fights out of another potential armbar, tossing Bailey. A massive kick and Bailey is down. MVP is incensed as referee Paul Turner notices Bailey’s shoulder slightly off the canvas. Benjamin tosses him around and lands another kick.
Winner: Shelton Benjamin will enter the Casino Gauntlet at #2.
4. Death Riders vs. Orange Cassidy and Roderick Strong
Castagnoli and Strong start for their sides.
Orange Cassidy goes right after Jon Moxley and the two end up outside. All four end up outside and The Death Riders take control, bringing Strong back into the ring.
Cassidy gets his hands in his pockets but gets hit and falls out of the ring after this unsightly maneuver.
Orange Cassidy only made Moxley and Claudio angry…

Strong and Moxley exchange chops and Moxley gets the better of Strong. Cassidy hits Moxley with a DDT. He hits Castagnoli with a Stundog Millionaire. Castagnoli catches him in mid-air, dropping him into the barricade. Cassidy wipes out both opponents in the crowd, falling onto them with his hands in his pockets.
Back from commercial, Cassidy is isolated in the wrong corner. He fights out of it but can’t get to Strong for a tag. Castagnoli sends Cassidy for an abbreviated Giant Swing. He’s definitely still feeling the Blood and Guts effects, as Bryan Danielson points out. Cassidy hits another DDT but the pinfall doesn’t last long enough.
Strong tags in and goes right after Moxley. He goes for a Stronghold but Daniel Garcia distracts Strong just long enough. Castagnoli grabs Cassidy with a Gut Wrench and deposits him over the top rope. Strong hits a Superplex onto Moxley.
Wheeler Yuta baits Cassidy after Moxley gets dropped. European uppercut for Moxley locks in a Bulldog choke on Cassidy.
Winners: The Death Riders.

5. Timeless Love Bombs vs. Alex Windsor and Riho in the AEW Women’s Tag Team Championship Tournament
Mina Shirakawa and Riho start off. Quick exchanges and the two pause after neither gains an edge. Both get tags and Windsor and “Timeless” Toni Storm go to work, again neither giving an inch to the other.
Definitely being more fresh than their opponents, Riho and Windsor take control and stifle Storm momentarily. Shirakawa tags and gets control with a torkneeo.
Windsor and Riho both lift Storm up and drop her onto her back. Riho hits a cross body onto the floor, laying out both opponents.
Back from commercial, Shirakawa fights her way out of a headlock from Riho. Shirakawa locks up Windsor’s legs and then drops Riho, attacking both at once efficiently.

Riho hits a Snap Dragon Suplex but Shirakawa kicks out. Riho is forced to kick out shortly after. Storm has to kick out after she gets dropped by Windsor. Storm and Shirakawa hit both opponents with hip attacks in opposite corners. Storm Zero on Windsor.
Winners: Timeless Love Bombs move on in the tournament.
Alicia Atout is backstage with Mark Briscoe and Kyle Fletcher. Fletcher points out that the No DQ stipulation is fine because he’s got three victories in five matches against Briscoe.
Briscoe stops Fletcher from speaking about family. He has his own family and The Conglomeration. He says failure is not an option. He gets attacked from behind by Hechicero and Kazuchika Okada. Callis says he’s going to make Briscoe’s kids orphans.
Fletcher is conflicted as Okada says he’s glad he could help, knowing Konosuke Takeshita couldn’t. How do we feel about the tag name “Protokada?”
PAC cuts a pre-recorded promo. He apologizes to Darby Allin, failing to break his neck. But he did hurt Allin, dropping him onto a table set on fire. He admits that he might have gone too far at Blood and Guts. He says, when all the bells and whistles are removed, Allin can’t compete with him.
6. Katsuyori Shibata vs. “Hangman” Adam Page
As Shibata enters, he gets jumped by Page and Samoa Joe – on commentary – is beside himself. He can’t interfere though, or he loses his title shot Saturday!
Shibata gets back in the ring and gets control with a kick to Page’s head. He throws Page around outside the ring. The two get super physical – as is expected.
Samoa Joe distracts Page and Shibata regains control, keeping it through the commercial break. Page tries to rally back and the two exchange chops. Page picks him up and hits a Fallaway Slam. He stays down for a second but gets himself up, getting Shibata to fall on the outside of the ring.
Page grabs a hold of Shibata’s leg on a PK. Shibata gets out of a Deadeye and kicks Page’s head in the corner.
A few more exchanges but Page gets the Buckshot Lariat and Samoa Joe is forced to watch Shibata stay down and lose.
Winner: “Hangman” Adam Page.
