All Elite Wrestling gave us a Blood and Guts to remember this past Wednesday. So, how can AEW Collision handle the aftermath? With tons of trios and eight-man tag matches, plus a title match with Scorpio Sky wanting to get back his TNT title from The ProtoStar, Kyle Fletcher.
We come to you from the Erie Insurance Arena in Erie, PA. Nigel McGuinness, “Daddy Magic” Matt Menard, and Tony Schiavone have the call, and we see the highlights from this past AEW Dynamite, which was not for the faint of heart:
One cage. Two rings. Total chaos.

But let’s go to your First Match of the Night, and it’s a trios match between…
The Death Riders ( Daniel Garcia, Wheeler Yuta, and PAC) vs. Jay Lethal, Tom Billington, and Adams Priest
Before the match gets underway, Daddy Magic is trying to be professional, but Garcia keeps poking the bear one time too many. Menard finally snaps, and both men come to blows as security and the Riders try to calm down their young ward. Menard is knocked for a loop and sent back for medical attention, and who should appear but Marina Shafir and Jon Moxley. Once the dust settles, Mox offers to join the commentary team. Schiavone reluctantly agrees, and now the match gets underway.
Lethal and company are firing on all six cylinders on a Death Rider crew that is less than three days removed from Blood and Guts, so one wonders about the wear and tear on the team. Billington and Garcia crisscross the ropes, and then Yuta knocks the nephew of the Dynamite Kid in the noggin to tumble to the floor. During Picture in Picture, The Riders cut the ring in half after slamming him around the ring, and Billington has no TNT in his stick of Dynamite.
(That came out wrong somehow. Or did it?)
Yuta props him on top of the turnbuckle for a swuperplex, and Billington blocks and head butts him off, and he drills with a missile dropkick. Before getting the tag, Garcia knocks out his team, and then he sends Billington to the ropes, and he goes over in a somewhat botched spot that was meant for both men to go over. The ref starts the ten count, and Billington gets in at the last second for a hot tag to Letha, who is En Fuego with combos heretofore unseen in an age. He cinches a Figure Four (Woo!) on PAC, and Garcia breaks the submission. Amidst the confusion, PAC feeds Priest to Lethal, who nails the Lethal Injection by accident. PAC locks the Brutalizer to make Lethal tap out.
Your Winner via Submission: PAC, Daniel Garcia, and Wheeler Yuta
PAC gets on the mic and notes that Darby Allin isn’t here after what he did on Wednesday. He considers it a masterpiece, and tells Allin if he seeks revenge, it’s no skin off his…errr, little PACs. He offers him a shot at the Full Gear PPV and awaits his response.
The @BASTARDPAC is revelling in his actions against @DarbyAllin at Blood & Guts AND he wants more at #AEWFullGear!

Yeahhh, I’ve seen enough Friday the 13th movies to know how this is gonna go.
Lexy Nair is backstage with Mark Davis and Kyle Fletcher. Davis is ready to eat the chicken man alive and heads off to the ring. Fletcher, for his part says Briscoe has been a thorn in his side too long, but he needs to prepare for his title match against Scorpio Sky.
Big night ahead for @TheDonCallis Family!

After that, we see “Timeless” Toni Storm and Mina Shirikawa. She has her head taped up after the brutal attack at the end of Blood and Guts, and Storm is seething. She takes the mic and says that five women made her see a mugging; a massacre. It’s one thing to do it to Storm, but not to the woman she loves. She promises bloody satisfaction as only she can, and I impel you, dear reader, to listen to what she has to say:
Still shaken from Blood and Guts, @MinaShirakawa is sidelined, and ‘Timeless’ Toni Storm has a message for the aggressors!

Even Mox was taken aback by the fierce words of the Timeless One, and if she got him shook…brother, it’s time to reassess your life.
We head back to the ring for the match between…

Mark Davis vs. Mark Briscoe
This is really just designed for the Don Callis Family member to soften up Briscoe before facing Fletcher at Full Gear. Well, Chicken ain’t waiting and takes the fight to the Aussie in the aisle.
.@SussexCoChicken doesn't want to wait for the bell!

Davis turns the tide for a brief moment until Briscoe lands a blockbuster from the apron. He attempts to channel his inner Mick Foley with an elbow drop, but Davis connects with a forearm on the way down, and then hip tosses Briscoe to a chair in the corner.
Fans chant, “This Mark Sucks!” as Davis gets him back in the ring and then sends him down with a superplex for a two count. During Picture in Picture, Davis stays in control and stomps a mudhole in the Sandy Fork, DE native, and then…
Ads (Normally, I’d be more annoyed by this, but my Utah Utes were playing against Baylor, and they dominated the Texas team throughout the night. So, all is well.)
We come back, and Briscoe is making a comeback, chopping away at Davis. He also gives the Aussie a jumping gamengirl by Briscoe, as called by Schiavone (to which Mox replied, “Excalibur teach ya that, eh?”). Briscoe climbs up the high-rent district, and he attempts the froggy ‘bow, but gets Davis’ knees on the way down. He nails a Stan Hansen-esque lariat and Davis covers for a count of two. He rolls out and sits in a chair outside as Davis hip checks him.
.@SussexCoChicken can NOT escape @DUNKZILLADavis!

He throws chairs in the ring, but Briscoe kicks him and then uses it for a somersault senton to the outside. Once again, he climbs, and Davis trips and crotches him on the top ropes, but Briscoe returns the favor and makes the big man tumble. This time, he delivers the froggy ‘bow for the pin and the win.
Your Winner via Pinfall: Mark Briscoe
Backstage, Christopher Daniels and Scorpio Sky discuss how things are looking good for Sky Flight, but The Fallen Angel suggests he be selfish tonight and get the TNT title. Sky cuts a promo that it’s been a long time since he held the belt, and he has his sights set on The ProtoStar. Defeat comes for us all, and he says Fletcher’s will come from the Sky.
Momentum is on SkyFlight’s side, but Scorpio Sky has his eyes on the prize tonight, the TNT Championship!

We learn there is a camera crew backstage, and Josh Alexander has Nakazawa in an ankle lock. He does it to send a message to Kenny Omega as to what he will do for a million dollars, and The Walking Weapon makes his point known.

Mansoor gets on the mic to inform the “slack-jawed odious troglodytes to shut up.” Now for a casting call to see who they’re beating tonight. The singles match is…
Tay Melo vs. Taya Valkyrie
If nothing else, this match needs a Squared Circle Clerihew™:
*ahem*
Valkyrie does her best against Melo,
And looks fabulous, too. (Hello!)
But it’s pretty plain to see
The Brazilian takes her in three.
Your Winner via Pinfall: Tay Melo
After the match, Shafir comes in and sneak attacks Melo from behind ahead of the tag tourney match. As she locks in her Mother’s Milk submission, out comes Storm and she wants to conduct murder on Shafir, landing with a Storm Zero.
Before their teams face off in the AEW Women's World Tag Team Title Tournament, @MarinaShafir tried to get the jump on @TayMelo, BUT "TIMELESS" TONI STORM WANTS PAYBACK!

There is a recap of the “Hangman” Adam Page/Powerhouse Hobbs match from this past Dynamite, but you’d be a lot cooler if you were to read it here.
Time for title action, and it is for the…

AEW TNT Championship: Kyle Fletcher(c) vs. Scorpio Sky (with Christopher Daniels)
Scorpio offers his hand at the start of the match, and he kicks it away. So much for sportsmanship.
They grapple, and Fletcher sends him to the corner. Fans are getting into the match as they exchange hold for hold, chanting, “Let’s go Kai-el!/Scor-pee-oh!” Sky wins a test of strength and pushes him to the corner. Fletcher goes out for a breather, and Sky wears his vest to get in his head. The mind games continue as Sky came up lame coming down from the top. As Fletcher moves in, he gets rolled up for a two count. Fletcher ducks out again, and he chases the champ to the outside. Fletcher catches him in a backdrop on the apron, and he nails a boot to Daniels to stop his cheerleading.
.@FACDaniels just got a face full of @KyleFletcherPro's boot!

Sky whips to the steel steps, and during Picture in Picture, Fletcher takes control and goes for a ground and pound. Sky is getting the worst of this offense, but keeps begging for more. He fires back, whips Fletcher in the corner, and mounts with punches. Sky bites his head, knocking him out of the ring. Fletcher attempts a powerbomb, but he counters, nailing a huracanrana on the floor. Back in the ring, Fletcher goes Sky High, but it’s a near fall. He comes back with a half-and-half suplex to Sky, followed by a running kick. Sky comes back with a Dragon screw leg whip and then sends him out, where he gives the champ a springboard cutter on the apron edge.
Back in the ring, and he spikes Fletcher to the center of the mat with a diving DDT, yet Sky can’t put him away. Fletcher attempts a TKO, but Sky escapes and counters with a single leg crab. The ProtoStar manages to grab the ropes to have the submission released. Finally, a superkick by Fletcher and a leaping Michinoku Driver give him another two count, but once he delivers the sheer drop brainbuster, it ends Sky’s title hopes.
Your Winner via Pinfall, and Still TNT Champion: Kyle Fletcher
After the match, Davis comes out to add more injury, until Top Flight runs out for the save, along with Briscoe. Briscoe gets on the mic and tells Fletcher to hang on to his belt tight because in one week it’ll be the last time, even though they tried to take him out at Blood and Guts.
Fletcher, for his part, denies that the Don Callis Family was the one that assaulted him this past Wednesday. He does prattle on that he is one defense away from being the best TNT champion, and reminds Briscoe of the stipulation that when he loses, he will be forced to be a member of the Family. Fletcher drops the mic by confidently saying that when he joins, Briscoe will have to say his full name.
In ONE WEEK, @SussexCoChicken + @KyleFletcherPro will battle in a No DQ match for the TNT Title and both men are looking to make history!

Next Saturday, since AEW Collision will air immediately after Dynamite, as the Full Gear PPV will take place that same day (check your local listings, folks), we learn that there will be a Saturday Night Tailgate Brawl, where four “Tag Teams” will vie for a $200,000 prize. Now I put Tag Team in quotations, since one of those teams will be Anthony Bowens and Max Caster. The rest of the actual teams have their say:

Speaking of which, we head back for some women’s tag team action between…
Alex Windsor and Rhio vs. Maya World and Hyan
Before I proceed, allow me a moment with an…
(Author’s Musing: One wonders if somewhere Miranda Alize and Nixon Newell (the former Tegan Nox) are kicking themselves for not keeping their mouths shut?)
Either way, this match felt pretty botch-y in places. Therefore, allow me to do, for the first time, a Haiku in Review (with a Squash Recipe, Too)™:
*ahem*
Windsor and Riho
Make soup out of this squash match.
But, they did the job.
Your Winners via Pinfall: Alex Windsor and Riho
Storm on the Tron apologizes in advance to their “non-sexual friends” as they face them next week in the women’s tag tournament. Storm uses more colorful language but let’s them know they are a bit fruaght of late and hope they have a bloody good time.

The fans chant, “You tapped out!” to the head Death Rider, who tosses the headset and grabs a mic. He concedes that The Conglomeration won one match, but The Death Riders are built differently and keep winning again and again. Mox then issues a challenge to O’Reilly to face him again for any match, any time, and he knows where to find them. After that, he storms off in a huff.

Nair has Melo backstage with a couple of words. First, to Storm, she says don’t step in her business. With that, she directs her fury to Shafir. As she refers the Death Rider as The Problem, Melo insists she is “The Solution.” They will meet at the women’s tag tournament, and Melo adds for Shafir and her partner, Megan Bayne, “You two started it, and TayJay will finish it.”

Time for your Main Event, and it is an eight-man tag team match between…
Bandido, Juice Robinson, and JetSpeed (Kevin “The Jet” Knight and “Speedball” Mike Bailey) vs. FTR (Dax Harwood and Cash Wheeler) and La Faccion Ingobernable (Rush and Sammy Guevara)
Bandido and Harwood start, and The Axe gets aggressive right away at the ROH World Champion. A tag to Wheeler to continue the beatdown. Bandido showcases his flash, while a tag to Bailey highlights his speed kicks. Guevara tags in, and the Spanish God goes to the top turnbuckle and comes down…with a thrust kick to disrespect Bailey. Knight joins the fun, and JetSpeed lights up with their tandem offense on Guevara, and even Knight feels a little tranquilo.
.@Jet2Flyy is feeling a little tranquilo!

Once El Toro Blanco enters, he and Guevara whip him to the corner, and they give Knight a taste of his medicine. Now in comes Robinson, and the Juice is loose, especially with FTR. At this point, it is a spot fest with a flurry of high-flying moves. During Picture in Picture, the action slows down as LFI and FTR stop the flips and engage with fists.
Bailey is isolated, and he is a Speedball in Peril. He manages to nail a dropkick to a Guevara and goes for a tag, but FTR pulls off his tag mates from the outside. Wheeler taunts him, but then gets knees to the ribcage. Bailey finally gets the hot tag, and Bandido is en Fuego. He even channels his inner Eddie Guerrero with a frog splash to Rush and only gets a two count. Now Bandido is surrounded by all four men, and he gets outnumbered. It then becomes a Pier Eight brawl with bodies flying everywhere. The end comes as Rush accidentally knocks off FTR from the ring apron, and Bandido delivers the 21-plex for the one, two, and three.
Your Winners via Pinfall: JetSpeed, Juice Robinson, and Bandido
All four have their hands raised in victory as the show comes to a close.
