AEW Collision: The Demand wants to end Jericho and The Hurt Syndicate on Playoff Palooza

It’s Saturday night, and it’s all right for fighting on AEW Collision.

So you know what that means?

Yes, hockey is the only true sport in this world (so switch to the other channel), and so is professional wrestling.

But tonight, we will see trios title action with The Conglomeration going up against the Don Callis Family (again), and “Jungle” Jack Perry puts up his AEW National title versus El Clon. Also, we will see if Ricochet and The Demand can take out Chris Jericho, even though he ensured his odds, since the people he will fight with love to hurt people, and Bobby Lashley and Shelton Benjamin are capable of doing that.

We come to you from the Veterans Memorial Coliseum in Portland, OR. Excalibur, Nigel McGuinness, and Tony Schiavone have the call, and FTR answers the challenge from Adam Copeland and Christian Cage. Skye Blue and Thekla vs. Alex Windsor and Persephone

Blue and Windsor get in a shoving match, and it isn’t long before she and Persephone work her over and display that tag chemistry. Thekla trips up Windsor, and she and Blue take advantage of the situation.
During Picture in Picture, Windsor is a Bird in Peril.

She nails Blue with a clothesline, gets the hit tag to Persephone, and is a Latina en Fuego (naturally).

She and Windsor combine forces for a double clothesline to a crossbody for a two count. From there, it’s a Pier Four brawl until Julia Hart steps in, and nails the Black Mist to Persephone, and Blue hits then Code Blue for the pin and the win.

AEW National Title Match: “Jungle” Jack Perry (c) vs. El Con

They circle and tie up, yet Perry is in control until he dives out and eats a knee to the face.

He fights back and gives El Clon a powerbomb for a two count. During Picture in Picture, the masked man takes it to Perry and then…

Ads (again, you worthless Monkeys in the Truck™! Are you trying to infuriate me?!)

We come back, and both men are spent, but the Jungle Man fights back and hits a Sliced Bread #2 for another count of two. El Clon can’t be put away and hits an innovative finisher or three, but cannot put him away. It’s only when Perry delivers the knee strike that he gets the pin and the win.

For now, Your Main Event is a six-man tag match with…

The Demand (Bishop Kaun, Ricochet, and Toa Liona) vs. Chris Jericho and The Hurt Syndicate (Shelton Benjamin and Bobby Lashley, with MVP)

MVP is at the commentary, and he loves handling business. All six men are in the ring, and it devolves to a donnybrook because “Business is booming,” according to MVP.

The action goes in and out of the ring, as Jericho interacts with fans and The Demand gets dumped out. Jericho dives on Liona and Kaun, and during Picture in Picture, The Demand have their way with Le Champion, tossing him into the barricades. Ricochet tries to break him down, but Jericho backdrops him. A hot tag to Lashley, who is All Mighty and En Fuego.

Then, The Hurt Business gets down to business with suplexes until all six men get in on the action. Jericho slaps the Walls on Ricochet, but gets pulled out of the submission. As the Hurt Syndicate deal with the GoA, Ricochet drops Jericho in his…err, little champions, and a Rico-Sault lands the one, two, and three.
