Greetings and salutations! It’s night two of AEW’s Fright Night Special and since we are close to Día de Muertos, we will have a few Lucha matches on this week’s show. In the main event of AEW Collision’s Fright Night edition from Edinburg, Texas, Ring of Honor World Champion Bandido defends his title against Mascara Dorada in a rematch from earlier this year. Also on the card, CMLL Women’s Champion Mercedes Moné puts her title on the line against Olympia, and in trios action we will see The Conglomeration (Mark Briscoe, Komander, and Roderick Strong) take on LFI’s Sammy Guevara, Dralístico, and The Beast Mortos. With all this and so much more, let’s get straight to the action!
Max Caster & Anthony Bowens vs. Kazuchika Okada & Konosuke Takeshita
Okada and Takeshita made separate entrances while Don Callis joined commentary. From the start, both teams went back and forth as Caster blind-tagged Bowens, irritating him, while Okada returned the favor to Takeshita. Miscommunication nearly caused Takeshita to hit Okada before they recovered to hit simultaneous DDTs on The Acclaimed and stared each other down like the best friends that they are.
Late in the match, a Tower of Doom where Takeshita powerbombs Okada while Okada superplexed Bowens. Caster tagged himself in, sparking a shoving match with Bowens. After Bowens superkicked Okada, Takeshita blind-tagged in, shoved Okada aside, and hit the Raging Fire on Caster for the win.
Winners: Kazuchika Okada & Konosuke Takeshita
Afterward, Okada and Takeshita glared at each other as Callis raised both men’s hands.
Willow Nightingale & Harley Cameron Promo
Backstage, Nightingale and Cameron hyped their upcoming Women’s Tag Title Quarterfinal against Mercedes Moné and Athena, promising to “keep smiling win or lose.”
Toni Storm & Mina Shirakawa Segment
A highlight video recapped the “Timeless Love Bombs” pairing of Storm and Shirakawa. Storm narrated, warning not to fear the woman in front of you, but the one beside her. AEW Women’s Champion Kris Statlander joined commentary.
Mercedes Moné vs. Olympia – CMLL Women’s Championship
Kris Statlander was on commentary for this match. Olympia used her power early, even gorilla-pressing Moné. Moné turned the tide with double knees and a dive to the floor. The fight spilled to the outside, where Mercedes slammed Olympia into the turnbuckle hooks, sending her crashing to the floor. Mercedes followed with a meteora off the apron, landing a bit awkwardly but appearing unharmed.
After the break, both traded near falls until Moné shoved Olympia into Statlander at ringside. Back in the ring, Moné immediately locked in the Mone Maker for the tapout.
Winner: Mercedes Moné
After the match, we see Statlander chase Moné
Megan Bayne & Marina Shafir (w/Penelope Ford) vs. Nixon Newell & Miranda Alize
Newell and Alize started hot but were quickly overpowered. Bayne used her strength while Shafir went all in with her submission moves. Bayne scored the pin after a running powerbomb while Shafir had Alize locked in Mother’s Milk.

Mark Briscoe, Komander & Roderick Strong vs. Sammy Guevara, The Beast Mortos & Dralistico
Briscoe and Mortos opened with a strong power exchange before Guevara briefly joined commentary to praise Nigel. Briscoe landed on his feet from a backdrop and fired off some Redneck Kung Fu. Komander tagged in, and when Guevara charged, he was backdropped to the floor.
Komander went for a top-rope move but ran straight into a knee from Guevara as chaos broke out ringside, with LFI taking control. After the break, Komander hit a springboard destroyer on Dralístico, then countered a powerbomb into a facebuster. Strong and Guevara tagged in, and Strong unleashed a backbreaker and Olympic Slam for a near fall before Mortos cut him off with a headbutt. Mortos hit a backstabber and held Strong for a Dralístico double stomp.
Briscoe tagged back in and ran wild, throwing an exploder on Dralístico and knocking Guevara to the floor. He then soared outside with a twisting corkscrew moonsault onto everyone. Back in the ring, Briscoe avoided Dralístico’s corkscrew kick and drilled him with the Jay Driller for the win.
Winners: Briscoe, Komander & Strong
Eddie Kingston and Hook are in the back and they chat about Hook’s recent loss, with Hook saying, “When you’re caught, you’re caught. You live to fight another day.” Don Callis then announces that The Young Bucks and Josh Alexander will face Jurassic Express and Kenny Omega in a $1,000,000 match at Full Gear.

6. Bandido vs. Mascara Dorada – ROH Championship
Dorado and Bandido started with back and forth Surfboards. Dorado attempted a floor dive, but Bandido returned to the ring, and Dorado landed on his feet. Bandido then went for a drive, only for Dorado to counter, sending him into the ring barricade and injuring his arm. Back in the ring, Dorado hit a back elbow for a near fall. The two traded chops before Bandido struck with a boot, a Tornio, and a one-handed press slam, which hurt his arm a bit.
The two ended up at ringside, where Bandido slammed Dorado face-first into the apron and followed with a dive. Back in the ring, Bandido landed a frog splash for a near fall. Dorado countered with a crucifix powerbomb, then hit a spinning DDT for another close two-count. The two end up on the apron, and Bandido connected with a big boot and a facebuster to the floor.
Dorado is on the corner as Bandido charges, but Dorado dodged a corner charge, hit a springboard crossbody, and executed a step-up rana from Bandido’s shoulders to the floor. This was folloed by a Tornio dive. Bandido comes right back with a shooting star press off the middle rope to the floor. Back in the ring, Dorado hit a top-rope crucifix driver.
Bandido fought back with a running knee, but Dorado blocked and eventually landed a suplex. Bandido countered with a sit-out powerbomb. Both exchanged kicks, going down simultaneously as the crowd chanted “Fight Forever!”
Dorado hit a tornio into an arm drag, then rolled up Bandido for a near fall. Dorado followed with La Magistral’s cradle. Dorado dumped Bandido, went to the top rope, and goes for a shooting star press, but Bandido cradled on the landing for a 2-count. Bandido tried the 21-plex but went too much which allowed Dorado to hit a gamengiri, followed by a top-rope rana, but Bandido with a huge block, but Dorado eventually hits it.
Bandido was up first, hit a huge a knee strike, and finally got the 21-plex to secure the pinfall.
