By Rob Thill, for Slam! Wrestling
Welcome to Collision from the 2300 Arena in Philadelphia, PA.
Tony Schiavone and Nigel McGuiness are on the call as we get straight into our first match.

Daniel Garcia vs. Jon Moxley
Moxley coming down from the eagle’s nest gives chills to start it off. Daddy Magic is at the announce booth and has a look of pride and concern on his face as he applauds Garcia.
Garcia shows his ground game to start. Moxley hits a litany of strikes and clotheslines, imposing his strength advantage. Garcia fires back and works the leg, wrapping his knee around the post and locking in the Hitman figure four. Marina offers Daniel a hand up, and he refuses.
What is @MarinaShafir thinking?

She grabs him by the back of his head and pulls him up anyway, and he eats a dropkick as we go to break. We come back to Garcia hitting elbows and putting Moxley through the apron with a piledriver. The crowd is erupting. Garcia hits a superplex for a near fall. Mox hits the Paradigm Shift, kick out, knee trembler, kickout, bulldog choke, and a damn escape. Garcia locks in the sharpshooter, but Moxley gets to the ropes. The crowd gives a well-deserved “Fight forever” chant. They throw down in the center of the ring with chops and forearms. Garcia goes for a victory roll, but Jon reverses for the pin.
Your winner: Jon Moxley
Marina claps for Daniel as they leave the arena. Tony Schiavone meets up with Daniel and says what an incredible performance. Daniel says it’s been a good five years, but sometimes good just isn’t good enough.
Every time Daniel Garcia has fallen, he's gotten back up. What's different about this time?

I am all for fresh blood in the Death Riders. And if memory serves, the original rules Danielson laid down for the first iteration of this group were that to fight with us, you must bleed with us. This is all a test.
We get a recap of the Don Callis Family assault on “Hangman” Adam Page and Kenny Omega.
Big Bill and Bryan Keith are in the back, and Bill reminds everyone that it was in this very building that he hit rock bottom, and the crowd mocked. Well, he has strung together victory after victory and is in the best shape of his life. He says he is from a city of real tough guys. And he knows of another tough guy who hasn’t been around for a while. He says at All Out, he wants to face that other guy, and that is Eddie Kingston.
Did @TheCazXL + @BountyKeith just call out EDDIE KINGSTON?!

Hell yes, hell yes, hell yes. The heart of AEW is on his way back!
Tag team action up next with…

Adam Priest and “The Dynamite Kid” Tommy Billington vs. FTR w/ Stokely Hathaway
Haven’t seen Tommy work yet, so this should be fun. Adam reminds me of Crash Holly, and I mean that as an absolute compliment.
Now THIS is an interesting pair!

Tommy moves a lot like his uncle and namesake. We get some great double team action as they hit Dax and Cash with stereo snap suplexes as FTR takes a powder. Lightning-fast pace in this match. Dynamite Kid locks on a crippler crossface (yes, I said it). Gut-wrench superplex by Dynamite to Dax for the near fall.
GUTWRENCH SUPLEX FROM THE TOP ROPE!

Tommy misses the diving headbutt. FTR set up for the Power and Glory, but got cut off. Dynamite strikes Dax down to the mat, and they hit a double diving headbutt, but Cash pushes Priest into the pin to break the fall. FTR with stereo bridging German suplexes for the 2. Cash throws Tommy out of the ring. FTR head to the top. PNG. 1,2,3.
Your winners: FTR w/ Stokely Hathaway
Very impressed by Priest and Tommy, and look forward to more. As always, FTR puts on a master class.
We get an Outrunners segment where they are out in the wild. They are walking through the wilderness when they come up to see none other than The Boys and the Peacock himself, Dalton Castle. They join hands, and Dalton says, “Let’s go break some hearts”.
“Let’s go break some hearts!”
A new alliance between Outrunners (@TurboFloyd_ + @TruthMagnum) & @theDALTONCastle?

Anytime Dalton gets on TV, I am happy, so bring it on.
Moxley is in the back. He asks what he has that everyone wants.
I don’t want to ruin it. Watch this:
The unhinged psycho is back. He has my attention again. Holy hell.
Next is our All-Star 8 women’s tag team match with…

AEW Women’s World Champion “Timeless” Toni Storm, Mina Shirakawa, Harley Cameron, Kris Statlander vs. “The Megasus” Megan Bayne, and the Triangle of Madness (Thekla, Julia Hart and Skye Blue)
Yuta shows up immediately and gets on the apron and whispers to Kris before he leaves.
What does @WheelerYuta want with @CallMeKrisStat tonight?!

— All Elite Wrestling (@AEW) September 7, 2025
These weekly multi-women matches are great because everyone gets a chance to shine, but they are very similar in delivery. Too much to call.
Stat and “The Cat” continue to blossom. “Timeless” dominates. Bayne and Statlander give us the lady hoss fight we all want. Stat hits Hart with an Electric Chair faceplant, and Wheeler Yuta’s roll up for the victory.
Your winners: AEW Women’s World Champion “Timeless” Toni Storm, Mina Shirakawa, Harley Cameron, Kris Statlander
The Triangle attack Storm and Mina until Jamie Hayter returns to make the save. After it is broken up, Toni grabs the mic. She asks all the ladies if they wanna get nuts, then let’s get bloody ballistic. She challenges all of them at All Out for her AEW Women’s World Championship.
(Editor’s Note: Here’s all that took place in that match:)
We get a hype promo for AEW’s latest star acquisition, Ace Austin. He says he has nothing to lose and always has an Ace up his sleeve. This is a real dark horse pick up for AEW. Ace has always been ridiculous and deserves a national stage to show that off.
In AEW, @The_Ace_Austin has EVERYTHING to prove & EVERYTHING to gain!

We go to Lexy in the back with what is left of the Bang Bang Gang, Juice Robinson, and Austin Gunn. Lexy asks them what their plan is. Juice says they have been dealt a pretty bad hand, but you have to play the cards you are dealt. He says they need to find out what’s next, but Cardblade and CardGunn have to go.
The Bang Bang Gang is figuring out what's next for them after being dealt some rough hands.

This really is an unfortunate trajectory for them, but I look forward to what Juice can bring out of this.
Next, we get Mercedes Mone addressing Riho after her return on Wednesday at Dynamite. Mercedes says she called Riho’s sensei, Emi Sakura. She tells Riho to go get her friend Alex Windsor and meet her next week.
TBS Champion @Mercedesvarnado welcomes Riho back to AEW by laying out a challenge!

We get a graphic saying that the challenge has been accepted by Darby Allin to face Jon Moxley at All Out, and it will be in a Coffin Match. I really don’t understand why a segment couldn’t have been built for Darby here. Instead, it is just hot shotted in a graphic.
Pity. Either way, these men are going to push our levels of squeamishness in Toronto.
I have a feeling. Sickos get ready. This one’s for you.
Schiavone is in the ring as he welcomes “The Protostar” Kyle Fletcher with Don Callis and “The Walking Weapon” Josh Alexander. Callis praises Josh for his work in the Eight-Man on Wednesday and his help in getting rid of “Hangman” Adam Page. Josh says that he and Page have a history, and he lost his very first match in AEW to him. But he is a different man now and will prove it against Page next week.
The @Walking_Weapon has a message for Hangman ahead of their match on #AEWDynamite, THIS WEDNESDAY!

Kyle takes the mic and runs down Mark Briscoe. He says he doesn’t deserve a shot at his TNT Championship, and he will be champ for a very long time. He says people are wondering who will fill the void left by the injuries of Swerve, Ospreay, and Omega. He says he is that man and wants to be the first to hold both the TNT and AEW World Championships simultaneously. He challenges Adam Page to a match at All Out. He says everyone will have to say his full name, and he expects an answer soon.
"The Protostar" @KyleFletcherPro wants the AEW World Championship!

The Paragon and the Conglomeration are in back, and Roderick Strong says it should have been him in the tag match last week and not Ishii. Kyle says Ishii is taking some time off and everything is fine in Conglomer-land…for now.
Things are complicated with The Conglomeration and @RoderickStrong …

Lexy Nair is in the back with Anthony Bowens. He says he is happy to be here because there is no Max Caster and no Billy Gunn. Jerry Lynn comes out and says he has been a trainer here for years and wants Bowens to find what he is missing.

Main event time next with…

Mark Briscoe vs. “The Alpha” Konosuke Takeshita
A fine match for the start, but the crowd is super flat. The match picks up after the break. Mark takes a dive on the outside from The Alpha and returns the favor with a blockbuster to the outside.
Beautiful blockbuster from Briscoe!

Mark hits a rolling DVD and makes his way to the top. Takeshita takes forever to cut him off. Mark hits a sunset powerbomb, heads back up for a Froggy Bow, but gets Takeshita’s knees to his elbow. Briscoe hits a ridiculous lariat for the near fall. Konosuke with a wicked wheelbarrow German suplex for a two count.
Hiiiiiiigh angle German Suplex to Briscoe!

Mark gets the advantage and sets up for the Froggy ‘Bow again. As Callis distracts, MJF comes out and shoves Briscoe off the top rope. Takeshita rocks Briscoe with a knee to the face and covers him for the victory.
Your winner: “The Alpha” Konosuke Takeshita
MJF attacks Mark after the bell. Takeshita pulls MJF off, and they stare each other down. Don gets in between them and says they have a deal. Security breaks them up, and MJF tells Mark to name the match and the place. Mark says it will be at All Out, and he will get back to him on the stipulation. He says no matter what it is, he just signed his own death warrant as we close the show.
The Death Riders are looking for recruits, and they are making smart choices. Does this mean that other Riders will lose their cut? We shall see. With the massive amount of injuries this roster is dealing with, I can understand why they have had to scramble to make this the “Let’s call our match for All Out” show.
That being said, we have time next week to let Darby challenge Moxley to a coffin match. The crowd would have loved it. That’s all for this week. Thank you for reading!
