Young Bucks need the Money. Dollar dollar bill, y’all.
It’s Saturday night, and it’s all right for fighting. So you know what that means?
No, we’re not tearing down an old place to make way for a ballroom. We are gearing up for everything after the WrestleDream PPV, which includes Thekla facing Mina Shirikawaka in one-on-one action. More importantly, The Young Bucks need some cash, and they will team with FTR against Jurassic Express and Jet Speed to ensure they get that cash in hand.
We come to you from the Boeing Center at TechPort in San Antonio, TX. Nigel McGuinness and Tony Schiavone have the call, and AEW World Champion Adam Page comes out.
He goes full Dark Knight in his promo and gives the “Die a hero, or you see yourself become the villain” speech. He runs down Katsuyori Shibata, Powerhouse Hobbs, and Samoa Joe, especially. He says they’ve become the thing they fought against, and he should have known better. He promises to get revenge for The Opps’ attack on him following his match at WrestleDream.
That leads PAC to say discipline makes a man, and he tells the mutt he’ll smoke him in the ring. That means your First Match of the night is between…

Pac (with Daniel Garcia and Wheeler Yuta) vs. Tomohiro Ishii
Pac comes out strong against the Stone Pitbull, but Ishii is no stranger to dealing with Bastards. The fans chant “Yuta Sucks!” which is odd (or typical, since he is engendering that X-Pact Heat). Outside the ring, Garcia distracts, and Pac takes advantage as Garcia softens up Ishii.
Back in the squared circle, Pac wears him down, but Ishii fires back briefly. A missile dropkick later, and during Picture in Picture, Pac continues the beatdown in and out of the ring. He gives Ishii a flash leg drop, to cover, and Pac gets a two count. Ishii fires up in the corner after a series of chops and tackles him down. Then he gives Pac a delayed vertical superplex to make him rethink his poor life choices, and that leads to a Powerbomb for another count of two.
MASSIVE delayed superplex from Ishii!

Then Ishii sends him to the ropes for a German suplex, and Pac returns the receipt. A clothesline turns Pac inside out, and then Ishii hits the ropes to get tripped up by Shafir. That distraction allows Pac to give him a Tombstone piledriver to a German suplex and still gets a near fall. Pac runs the ropes and gets a clothesline for his troubles from Ishii. Pac manages to come back with a brainbuster, and he still can’t put him away. Outside, Yuta nails Ishii with a Busaiku knee, and once he gets rolled back in the ring, Pac puts him away with a running clothesline for three.
Your Winner via Pinfall: The Bastard Pac
Now for something toxic, it’s…

Thekla vs. Mina Shirakawa
These two are no strangers to facing each other since STARDOM days, as Schiavone mentions.
Shirikawa mocks the Toxic Spider and draws her in. Thekla gets in a fight, but Shirakawa outwrestles her, and she gets the Spider in a surfboard and stomps on her hands. Both escape each other’s moves until Thekla changes direction by twisting her hair and tossing her to the mat twice. A couple of boots to the head, and she covers, yet Shirikawa kicks out. Thekla mocks her, and Shirikawa connects with a DDT for a near fall and then focuses on her knee. Suddenly, Skye Blue and Julia Hart come to observe and make their own way to the ring, and Thekla uses the distraction to gain the upper hand. During Picture in Picture, Thekla is in control, and the Sisters pf Sin jump in on the fun, which leads to Thekla in control and then…
Ads (Oh, how I do not miss having ads in the MIDDLE OF A GOOD MATCH!)
We come back, and she has Shirikawa in the throes as Hart and Blue get in on the fun. She fires back with sling blades to a high knee, and Thekla is reeling. Shirikawa nails a springboard tornillo to Thekla, and that earns a two-count. Both women are firing, and Shirikawa heads up to the high-rent district, but Thekla catches her at the pass. They battle up top, and Shirikawa drops her with a haymaker, but Thekla’s core allows her to hang on and give her a superplex. After that, Shirikawa comes back with a running knee to a backfist, and she still can’t knock her out. Another sling blade from the top, and she still can’t knock out Thekla. Then Hart and Blue try to interfere, and she sends them packing, allowing Thekla to secure a submission win.
Your Winner via Pinfall: Thekla
Lexy Nair is backstage, congratulating Anna Jay and Tay Melo on the tag division. Then come Miranda Alize and Nixon Newell to throw shade, and they humor them for a while.
Now part of the #AEW Women’s Tag Team Championship Tournament, @taymelo and @annajay___ give their take, but @RealNixonNewell and @MirandaAlize_ have opinions of their own!

Now is the time for the MxM TV with another open challenge…excuse me, “open casting.”
Mansoor asks the “slack-jawed gelatinous goblinoids” to shut it. So, who will step up to their challenge?
Well, it’s…
Olympia vs. Taya Valkyrie
Olympia is from CMLL, and she and Valkyrie are no strangers. Olympia knocks her off the ring to the arms of MxM and Johnny TV, only for her to dive into all members.
Olympia takes out ALL of MxM TV at once!

A fireman’s carry to a slam gets the pin and the win for Olympia in her AEW debut.
Your Winner via Pinfall: Olympia
Well…that was anticlimactic, except for the fact that MxM and Johnny TV carried Valkyrie’s lifeless corpse to the back.

That’ll be something to look forward to.
Until then, next up is…

Ace Austin vs. Bryan Keith
Keith jaw jacks, but Austin is not getting reeled in his talk. The exchange holds, yet Austin manages a couple of holds and can outwork The Bounty Hunter. Austin shows his sense of balance, then goes to work. He sends him over the top rope, and Keith drills him with a boot to the outside. During Picture in Picture, The Bounty Hunter gets in control, and Austin’s left reeling. The fans chant “Let’s go, Ace” to Austin, and he fires up and lands a clothesline and then hits with a Russian Legsweep, followed by a leg drop. A double stomp to the head gets Austin a two count, but Keith follows up and gets a head butt for his troubles, and a belly to back gets a near fall. Austin comes back with The Fold (a running, flipping neckbreaker) for the pin and the win.
Your Winner via Pinfall: Ace Austin
The Bang Bang Gang comes out to celebrate his victory, and this can only mean good things, right? RIGHT?!
Backstage, Nair speaks to Don Callis about Okada and Takeshita after the end of Dynamite. He dismisses it as families fighting and alphas fighting, and explains how they fight. He announces a Don Callis Family summit and thinks this will earn him a Nobel Peace Prize.
Right. And I can show you a man wanting to ruin the East Wing of the White House.
After everything that went down at #AEWWrestleDream and the end of #AEWDynamite this past Wednesday, can @TheDonCallis shed any light on what’s happening between @rainmakerXokada and @Takesoup?

Meanwhile, Nair has The OutRunners, and Dalton Castle is ready to deliver their secret sauce, and Bowen and Caster yell.
The Outrunners and @theDALTONcastle attempt to comment on their recent trios success, but they’re interrupted by the ongoing tension between @Bowens_Official and @PlatinumMax!

Hook ( with Eddie Kingston) vs. Griff Garrison (with The Frat Bros)
Two things I will not do: Deal with Frat Bros or cover a squash match. Therefore, enjoy this Haiku in Review™:

Hook makes short work of
Griff Garrison, and he

Now for the Main Event, and it is a…
$400,000 All-Star eight-man tag match: Jurassic Express (Jack Perry and Luchasaurus) and JetSpeed (Kevin Knight and Mike Bailey) vs. The Young Bucks (Matt and Nick Jackson) and FTR (Cash Wheeler and Dax Harwood, with Big Stoke)
There is already an uneasy alliance with FTR and the Bucks, but once the bell rings, Knight and Nick start, it is a whirl of exchanges between them, and once JetSpeed comes in with double team action, it is a whole other match.
Wheeler is in to show Bailey how things go, but he fires back with quick kicks of his own, along with an enzugiri. Perry tags in and comes in with chops. Then Harwood comes in, and Luchasaurus makes his presence known. FTR tries to stop the Dino to no avail. Now all eight men get involved, with Perry and JetSpeed giving moonsaults outside and Luchasaurus nailing a choke slam to a standing moonsault to Harwood for a two count.
During Picture in Picture, it’s chops ahoy, and still a Pier Eight until Knight lands with a UFO splash, until FTR breaks the count.
Knight comes back with a huracanrana to a powerbomb, and Bailey covers for two on Matt. At that point, Stoken attempts a punt or two
With the last ad break, everyone is swinging for th fences as Knight nails a powerbomb on Wheeler for two. The end comes as Luchasaurus runs roughshod on FTR and The Bucks, but FTR nail the power and glory plus an elbow and. 450, splash by The Bucks, and Bailey breaks the count. A double Shatter Machine, and that set up Luchasaurus for a quadruple BTE, but it misses the mark. The end comes when Bailey nails a spinning enzugiri, and Knight delivers a UFO Splash on Wheeler, ending it in one, two, and three.
