Zilla Fatu‘s long-anticipated path to WWE may be moving a step closer to reality.
According to PWInsider, Zilla Fatu was present at the WWE Performance Center this week amid ongoing speculation that the company is interested in signing him. The report did not specify the reason for his visit, but it is the latest development linking the second-generation star with WWE.
Support for Fatu joining the company has already come from one of WWE’s most influential figures. Earlier this year, Paul Heyman publicly stated that WWE should sign the 26-year-old “at the first possible opportunity.”
The son of the late WWE star Umaga, Fatu, began training as a professional wrestler only in 2022. Since then, he has quickly established himself as one of the most talked-about prospects on the independent scene, capturing championships in House of Glory, Reality of Wrestling and Fourth Rope, while also competing for Game Changer Wrestling.
Zilla Fatu Challenged MJF For The AEW World Title
One of the biggest matches of Zilla Fatu’s career came in February when he challenged AEW World Champion MJF at a House of Glory event. Despite sharing the ring with one of AEW’s top stars, Fatu previously indicated that WWE remains his preferred destination.
Speaking with Bootleg Kev, Fatu admitted his heart is with WWE, citing both his father Umaga’s legacy and the presence of several family members already on the roster, including Roman Reigns, Jimmy Uso, Jey Uso, Solo Sikoa and Jacob Fatu.
The timing is particularly interesting given the ongoing Bloodline storyline. Following Clash in Italy, tensions between Reigns and Sikoa continue to escalate, with the possibility of rival Bloodline factions emerging once again.
