Many fans were not happy with how Goldberg’s retirement match was handled by the WWE and NBC.
Goldberg came up short against WWE World Champion Gunther on last night’s edition of Saturday Night’s Main Event.
When the show returned from its final commercial break friends and family surrounded Goldberg as addressed the crowd and viewers…for about thirty seconds before he was unceremoniously cut off.
Fans voiced their displeasure on X:
Why did you guys cut the commercial directly after the match. Then you come back from commercial with one minute left giving Bill about 30 seconds to try to talk and then you cut the feed off lol

Scrap network TV and move everything to netflix and stop rushing the ends of shows iv it down to the last 3 minutes is where the action and storylines happen now. This is a bad look for you to do this to goldberg

@Belgariadion really was not thrilled to see his retirement speech get cut off so abruptly.
i mean yeah sure the overflowing commercial breaks is worth more time than a legend’s retirement speech.
