The WWE’s Unreal Netflix series have been nominated for numerous 2026 Sports Emmy Awards.
Unreal is up for:
- Best Sports Documentary Series: Serialized
- Outstanding Sports Editing: Long Form
- Outstanding Sports Graphic Design: Specialty
Meanwhile, The Pat McAfee Show has been nominated for:
- Outstanding Sports Studio Show: Daily

In Netflix’s What We Watched report for the second half of 2025 the big winner for WWE and Netflix itself was the first season of WWE: Unreal. Bridging the gap between die-hard and casual fans the series drew 4.9 million views and 22.8 million hours viewed. It finished finished 407th overall which puts it well out of being a massive top-tier hit but it was the strongest WWE product overall on Netflix.
At the end of season two Netflix which was released earlier this year the WWE announced that more episodes are coming this summer.
The 2026 Sports Emmy Awards will take place on May 26, 2026.
