WWE is being sued for their move to ESPN.
A class action lawsuit launched against WWE claims the promotion was deceptive when it claimed that those who subscribed to ESPN wouldn’t have to pay extra to watch WWE PLEs.
Currently many fans in the U.S. must pay $30 a month for access to stream ESPN and the WWE events.
U.S customers who were existing ESPN subscribers between August 6 prior to Wrestlepalooza and paid for the service are eligible to join the class action suit.
It is predicted that the suit could result in damages of $5 million or more.
