A WWE SmackDown star and an NXT star have captured the AAA Mixed Tag Team Championship.
At AAA’s Dia de los Muertos event last night, SmackDown’s Chelsea Green and NXT’s Ethan Page captured the AAA Mixed Tag Team Title by defeating Mr Iguana and La Hiedra. Iguana and Hiedra had held the title for close to a year after winning the belts on December 8, 2024, defeating Crazzy Steve and Havok to begin their reign.
Green and Page weren’t the only WWE stars on AAA’s show yesterday, as NXT’s Lince Dorado, El Grande Americano (portrayed by Ludwig Kaiser), Los Garza’s Angel and Berto, and LWO’s Cruz Del Toro and Joaquin Wilde were all in action at the event. Lola Vice was also on commentary for Green and Page’s match.

Chelsea Green and Ethan Page have teamed together in WWE on one occasion, competing in a Mixed Tag Team match against Tavion Heights and Tyra Mae Steele at NXT Heatwave on August 24 and winning that match also.
Green has held the WWE Women’s Tag Team Title with Soyna Deville and was the inaugural Women’s United States Champion. Page has held the NXT Title and is the current NXT North American Champion.
