A WWE star has revealed that they are undergoing hip surgery after dealing with a long-term injury.
WWE NXT star Tyson Dupontshared a video update from his hospital bed, confirming he has been battling pain for close to a year before deciding to undergo the procedure.
Dupont explained that he had attempted to push through the issue to avoid missing opportunities, but ultimately felt the timing was right to address the injury.
“Pushed through it to the best I could to make sure I didn’t miss any opportunities, but God’s timing, when it’s time, it’s time. So today we’re taking care of that. Minor setback for a major comeback,” Dupont said.
He added that he remains focused on returning stronger, saying:
“The Brick will be back in no time… the grind continues. We’re still chasing greatness because the best is always yet to come.”
There is currently no confirmed timetable for Dupont’s return to in-ring action.
