AAA fans watching Raw last night were surprised to see an upcoming title match announced.
During the show, Chad Gable confronted and clocked El Hijo del Vikingo who was sitting as a “special guest” at ringside.
Later, Vikingo ran into Gable in the back. They traded pleasantries and their match at Worlds Collide was announced.
In some markets, the graphic showed it as a match for the AAA Mega Championship.
The problem is that title is currently held by Alberto El Patrón who defeated Nic Nemeth for it back at Triplemania XXXII: Mexico City last August.
Vikingo is set to challenge Patron this weekend for the title.
