The spoilers for Friday’s episode of WWE SmackDown have been revealed.
WWE taped this Friday’s episode of WWE SmackDown on Monday, November 2, following Raw at the Barclays Center in Brooklyn, New York, with several major developments ahead of Crown Jewel.
The November 6 episode features Kevin Owens facing CM Punk, a Women’s Tag Team Championship match, and further developments involving Sami Zayn and Roman Reigns ahead of their Crown Jewel Championship encounter.
According to spoilers published by F4WOnline.com, the show also includes appearances from Liv Morgan, Chelsea Green, Gunther, Finn Balor and several other WWE stars.
The episode opens with a confrontation between Gunther and Finn Balor, which ends with Balor attacking and laying out The Ring General. Notably, Balor appears in his regular persona rather than as the Demon.
In singles competition, Shinsuke Nakamura defeats Tama Tonga after connecting with the Kinshasa.
WWE Women’s Tag Team Champions B-Fab and Michin defend their titles against Fatal Influence’s Fallon Henley and Lainey Reid. However, the match ends in a disqualification, meaning there is no decisive winner.
Elsewhere, Bayley appears but is attacked by Jade Cargill. Charlotte Flair subsequently intervenes, leading to a physical confrontation with Cargill.
WWE SmackDown General Manager Nick Aldis also appears in the ring and introduces WWE Women’s Champion Chelsea Green ahead of her Crown Jewel match against Women’s World Champion Liv Morgan.
Green delivers an emotional promo, admitting that she sometimes struggles to believe in herself. She acknowledges the importance of defeating Morgan, suggesting that a loss would validate the criticism Morgan has directed towards her.
Morgan interrupts and mocks Green, asking whether she needs a tissue before describing her as a “paper champion.”
Backstage, Trick Williams appears alongside rapper Lil Yachty for an interview segment. Williams uses the opportunity to address Damian Priest.
Priest later faces Nathan Frazer in a singles match, but it ends abruptly after Frazer is knocked from the announcers’ table.
Priest is declared the winner before continuing his attack by beating down Frazer’s tag team partner, Axiom.
One of the episode’s biggest segments features Undisputed WWE Champion Sami Zayn addressing his upcoming Crown Jewel Championship match against Roman Reigns.
Zayn discusses his confrontation with Reigns on Raw, where he attacked his former Bloodline ally ahead of their November 7 showdown.
Jimmy Uso interrupts and confronts Zayn over his actions, making it clear that he is unhappy about the attack on Reigns.
Zayn tries to justify his decision, reminding Jimmy that he ultimately helped force him out of The Bloodline.
Jimmy responds by warning Zayn that he will receive a beating at Crown Jewel.
Zayn insists that he wants Reigns completely focused when they meet in Saudi Arabia, acknowledging that his actions will likely ensure that happens.
The confrontation is interrupted when members of 946 attack Jimmy Uso.
Zayn initially looks conflicted as he watches the assault unfold, but ultimately walks away rather than intervene.
The beatdown continues, with Cruz Montana appearing in full 946 attire.
In the night’s other major match, Kevin Owens defeats CM Punk following a controversial finish.
Punk connects with the Go To Sleep, but Owens rebounds off the ropes and hits him with a fist wrapped in a chain to secure the victory.
The result gives Owens a significant win over Punk, although the use of the chain raises questions about the circumstances of the finish.
The episode serves as WWE’s final WWE SmackDown before Crown Jewel, which takes place on Saturday, November 7, in Saudi Arabia.
