WWE SmackDown is set to move away from the USA Network in February.
WWE SmackDown will temporarily shift networks next month due to coverage of the Winter Olympics. The blue brand will not air on USA Network on February 13 or February 20, with both episodes instead broadcast on Syfy. A spokesperson for USA Network confirmed the move, which was first reported by Post Wrestling. USA Network and Syfy are both owned by NBC Universal, and Syfy has regularly served as a temporary home for WWE programming when major sporting events create scheduling conflicts.
SmackDown returned to a three-hour format at the start of 2026 and will remain three hours long for the foreseeable future. The two Syfy episodes will follow the same format and air in SmackDown’s usual 8-11 p.m. Eastern time slot. The February 13 episode will originate from the American Airlines Center in Dallas, Texas, while the February 20 broadcast will take place in the Amerant Bank Arena in Fort Lauderdale, Florida.
When Will WWE SmackDown Return To The USA Network?
International viewers will not be affected by the change. Outside of the United States, SmackDown will continue to air live on Netflix as scheduled. WWE SmackDown is set to return to USA Network on February 27, where the show will air live from the KFC Yum! Center in Louisville, Kentucky, which will serve as the final episode before WWE’s Elimination Chamber event.
The Winter Olympics run from February 6 through February 22 and are expected to draw significant viewership, prompting NBC Universal to adjust its programming across multiple networks during that period.
