WWE SmackDown saw a week-to-week increase in viewership for its December 12, 2025, episode on USA Network.
According to Programming Insider, the broadcast averaged 1,124,000 viewers and posted a 0.25 rating in the P18-49 demographic. Those figures were up from the December 5 episode, which drew 1,063,000 viewers and a 0.24 demo rating, representing an increase of 61,000 viewers and a 4.2 per cent rise in the key demographic.
The December 12 episode opened with a confrontation between Cody Rhodes and Oba Femi, setting the stage for their match at Saturday Night’s Main Event the following night. Elsewhere on the show, Ilja Dragunov defeated Tommaso Ciampa in a non-title match, Lash Legend picked up a win over Alexa Bliss, and Je’Von Evans defeated The Miz.
In the night’s main event, Rhea Ripley and Damian Priest teamed up to defeat Aleister Black and Zelina, rounding out an episode that translated its key storylines into improved audience numbers.
What Matches Are Set For The Next Episode Of WWE SmackDown?
The next episode of WWE SmackDown is set to take place this Friday, December 19, and will also see the December 22 episode of Raw being taped that night for Netflix. There are currently no matches announced for SmackDown this Friday; however, the December 26 episode was taped prior to this Monday’s Raw on December 15 and will see matches such as Lash Legend and Nia Jax vs. Asuka and Kairi Sane, Giulia vs. Alba Fyre, Carmelo Hayes and Ilja Dragunov vs. Johnny Gargano and Tommaso Ciampa, and JC Mateo and Tonga Loa vs. Dexter Lumis and Joe Gacy.
