AEW President Tony Khan has paid tribute to Pac following the wrestler’s sudden death. Khan praised Pac, real name Benjamin Satterley, for his wrestling knowledge, skill, athleticism, professionalism and dedication to the business, while also remembering him as a beloved husband and friend. Pac had competed at AEW All Out just one day before his death was announced, losing an AEW National Championship match to Andrade El Idolo before later becoming involved in the World Championship main event between Will Ospreay and Jon Moxley.

Dorian Van Dux has been medically cleared to return ahead of the Dusty Rhodes Tag Team Classic. Shawn Legacy shared a video on social media in which Van Dux confirmed he had received clearance and would be ready for their opening-round match against AAA’s Tokyo Bad Boys. Van Dux was ruled out of action at last week’s NXT due to a punctured lung and couldn’t team with Legacy and Zilla Fatu. Although Van Dux initially wanted to compete despite the injury, Legacy convinced him to recover in time for the tournament.
