WWE has announced more participants in the “Last Time is Now” tournament, where the winner will face John Cena in his retirement match at Saturday Night’s Main Event on December 13.
WWE has revealed that the remaining first-round matches for the “Last Time is Now” tournament will take place on this coming Friday’s episode of SmackDown at the MVP Arena in Albany, New York, next Monday’s episode of Raw in Madison Square Garden, and on the November 21 episode of SmackDown at the Ball Arena in Denver, Colorado.
The first round matches on this Friday’s SmackDown are LA Knight vs. a mystery opponent, and The Miz vs. Jey Uso. On Raw in Madison Square Garden, Solo Sikoa will face a mystery opponent, and Gunther will square off against Je’Von Evans. The two November 21 matches have yet to have their participants confirmed.
Who Has Advanced To The Quarter Finals Of WWE’s “The Last Time is Now” Tournament?
Last night on WWE Raw, the tournament kicked off with two first-round matches as former Cena rival Rusev defeated Damian Priest to advance to the quarter finals, and another former Cena rival, Sheamus, bested Shinsuke Nakamura to advance to the quarter finals.
It has not yet been announced when the quarter-final matches will take place.
