Bayley’s recent social media activity has reportedly raised eyebrows backstage in WWE amid speculation surrounding her future. The former Women’s Champion posted training footage on Instagram accompanied by The Grouch & Eligh’s song “All In” and the caption “all or nothing, baby,” prompting some fans to connect the references to AEW’s All In and Double or Nothing events. According to WrestleVotes via Fightful Select, the post did not “land well with everyone” in WWE and was viewed by some within the company as “eyebrow-raising”.
Kofi Kingston has filed trademark applications for “KSM” and his legal name, “Kofi Sarkodie-Mensah”, as speculation continues over his post-WWE future. The applications, filed on August 11 with the United States Patent and Trademark Office, cover merchandise as well as professional wrestling performances, appearances, interviews and wrestling-related content. The filings do not confirm Kingston’s next destination but represent another step towards establishing his identity following his departure from WWE.
Adam Copeland has praised Tony Khan for allowing him to compete at Maple Leaf Pro Wrestling’s Northern Rising pay-per-view on October 3 at the Mattamy Athletic Centre in Toronto, the former site of Maple Leaf Gardens. Speaking on MLP Mayhem, Copeland said Khan wants professional wrestling to “flourish” and highlighted the partnership between AEW and Maple Leaf Pro.
