Ricky Saints’ controversial concert segment from the March 3 episode of WWE NXT has reportedly been removed from the company’s official social media platforms following a negative response from fans.
The segment, promoted as “The Ricky Saints Absolute Experience,” featured Saints performing a live concert on NXT. While the concept mirrored similar segments previously done by stars like Joe Hendry and The Rock, the performance failed to resonate with viewers.
According to Fightful Select, WWE decided to remove the clip after it drew significant criticism online. The report also noted that the idea for the segment did not originate from Saints himself.
Sources indicated that Saints was involved in helping shape the segment but has been actively trying to steer his character away from elements that could invite comparisons to The Rock.
How Did WWE Backstage React To The Ricky Saints Concert Segment On NXT?
Despite the online backlash, the segment reportedly received only a lukewarm reaction backstage, and WWE officials are not concerned about the long-term direction of either Ricky Saints or Joe Hendry.
Both competitors rebounded heading into NXT Vengeance Day, where Hendry successfully defended the NXT Championship against Saints on March 7, 2026. The report also noted that when Saints joined WWE NXT in 2025 following his run in AEW, the expectation internally was that he would not remain in the developmental brand for a full year.
