Last night’s episode of WWE Raw saw the return of a former champion after a three-month absence.
Roxanne Perez made her return to WWE television last night on WWE Raw for the first time since the Royal Rumble, appearing during a confrontation between Liv Morgan and Stephanie Vaquer. Morgan, who won this year’s Royal Rumble, was addressing her WrestleMania opponent when tensions escalated, with Morgan directing insults towards Vaquer and her family.
Vaquer responded by heading to the ring and taking the fight to Morgan, gaining the upper hand in the exchange. However, the momentum quickly shifted when Perez emerged through the crowd and attacked Vaquer from behind.
The returning star joined Morgan in a two-on-one assault, overwhelming Vaquer and leaving her laid out in the ring. The attack culminated with Morgan delivering her Oblivion onto a steel chair, sending a clear message ahead of their clash at WrestleMania 42.
Perez had been absent from WWE programming for three months, with her last appearance coming at the Royal Rumble. In February, she revealed she had undergone surgery to remove a benign mass from her back, which had been causing her significant discomfort.
“I recently underwent surgery to remove a benign mass that was in my back, that was causing me a lot of pain for a couple of months,” Perez said at the time.
WWE Raw Commentary Didn’t Elaborate On The Nature Of Roxanne Perez’s Injury
During WWE Raw, commentary simply referenced Perez’s absence as injury-related, offering no further details, but her return immediately re-establishes her presence in the division at a pivotal moment.
