WWE Raw took place last night from Climate Pledge Arena in Seattle, Washington, featuring a number one contender being crowned in the women’s division, a successful Intercontinental Championship defence by Penta, and a dramatic fracture within Judgment Day.
Last night’s show opened with WWE Raw General Manager Adam Pearce addressing the escalating situation between Seth Rollins and The Vision. Pearce warned Rollins that he is still not medically cleared following recent surgery and that continuing to provoke The Vision could have serious consequences.
Moments later, several masked figures surrounded the ring before one revealed himself to be Rollins. As tensions escalated, Logan Paul and Austin Theory arrived to confront Rollins and attempted to attack him. The masked group prevented the assault, and the situation grew more chaotic when LA Knight, Jimmy Uso, and Jey Uso arrived, forcing Paul and Theory to retreat.
The night’s first match was a gauntlet bout to determine the number one contender for the WWE Women’s Intercontinental Championship. Lyra Valkyria and Iyo Sky started the contest, with Sky gaining the early advantage and eventually eliminating Valkyria with Over The Moonsault.
Raquel Rodriguez entered next but was eliminated after Sky capitalised on a distraction caused by Liv Morgan and a brawl between Morgan and Stephanie Vaquer. Rodriguez retaliated after being eliminated, attacking Sky on the outside, leaving her vulnerable to the next entrant.
Ivy Nile took advantage and quickly eliminated the injured Sky. Bayley entered next and overcame Nile with a Bayley-to-Belly suplex to advance to the final stage of the match.
Asuka entered last, accompanied by Kairi Sane, and the two former champions battled through the closing stretch. Valkyria neutralised Sane at ringside, allowing Bayley to deliver the Rose Plant to secure the victory and earn a future title opportunity.
During a break in the action, Maxxine Dupri attacked Nattie on the entrance ramp while Nattie was speaking with Byron Saxton. Backstage, OG El Grande Americano also had a brief confrontation with Danhausen.
Later in the show, Intercontinental Champion Penta addressed the crowd and celebrated capturing the championship the previous week. He thanked his supporters and promised to represent the title with pride.
Instead of the originally scheduled opponent, Ludwig Kaiser appeared under the El Grande Americano persona and challenged Penta for the championship. The challenger used several underhanded tactics, including tying Penta to the ropes with his mask during the match.
Despite the interference and tricks, Penta regained momentum and finished the match with a springboard Canadian Destroyer to retain the title.
Following the match, Dominik Mysterio entered the ring alongside Liv Morgan and Raquel Rodriguez to address his Intercontinental Championship loss. Dominik blamed Finn Balor for the defeat and demanded answers.
Balor appeared with JD McDonagh and attempted to apologise, insisting that Judgment Day should remain united. The situation quickly deteriorated when Balor suggested Rey Mysterio may have been right about Dominik.
Dominik responded by attacking Balor. McDonagh eventually joined Dominik, Morgan, and Rodriguez in a brutal assault. Dominik used the ring bell hammer before delivering two Frog Splashes, the second with a chair placed over Balor’s chest, leaving him laid out in the ring and signalling the collapse of Judgment Day.
Backstage, Kofi Kingston approached Je’Von Evans and encouraged him to consider joining himself, Xavier Woods, and Grayson Waller. Elsewhere, Asuka confronted Kairi Sane over her failure to help secure victory in the earlier gauntlet match.
In singles action, Oba Femi defeated Rusev in a power clash between two of Raw’s strongest competitors. After both men exchanged heavy strikes and brawled outside the ring, Femi regained control and delivered Fall From Grace to secure the win.
CM Punk closed the show by addressing the fallout from his controversial comments about Roman Reigns the previous week. Jimmy Uso and Jey Uso interrupted, demanding Punk apologise for referencing their family.
Punk refused to back down, accusing Reigns of disrespecting both his family and his legacy. The heated confrontation ended with The Usos shoving Punk before stepping out of the ring, leaving the three men staring each other down as Raw went off the air.
