A chaotic night at WWE Raw saw championships change hands, rivalries intensify, and the road to WrestleMania 42 take several dramatic turns.
Inside Madison Square Garden, last night’s WWE Raw opened with Cody Rhodes addressing the crowd before being interrupted by Stephanie McMahon. The segment quickly shifted focus to Rhodes’ upcoming title defence against Randy Orton, with Stephanie warning Rhodes about the danger Orton presents. The confrontation escalated when she slapped Rhodes, insisting she was trying to prepare him for what lies ahead.
The first match of the night saw a major title change as The Usos defended the WWE World Tag Team Championship against The Vision. The bout quickly broke down into a chaotic weapons-filled contest, with outside interference playing a key role. A miscue involving brass knuckles created the opening for Logan Paul and Austin Theory to capitalise, with Theory pinning Jimmy Uso to capture the titles.
Liv Morgan then took to the ring to call out Stephanie Vaquer, leading to a brief confrontation that was quickly cut short by the returning Roxanne Perez. Perez joined Morgan in a two-on-one assault, leaving Vaquer laid out as Morgan stood tall with the Women’s World Championship.
In the WWE Women’s Tag Team Championship match, Bayley and Lyra Valkyria challenged The Irresistible Forces. The champions retained their titles via disqualification after interference from multiple teams, including Nikki Bella, Brie Bella, Charlotte Flair, and Alexa Bliss, leading to a post-match brawl.
Elsewhere, Brock Lesnar and Oba Femi came face-to-face in a tense segment that required intervention from Triple H and security. The confrontation stopped short of a full fight, but further built anticipation for a potential WrestleMania clash.
The WWE Intercontinental Championship was also on the line as Penta defended against Kofi Kingston. Despite outside involvement from Grayson Waller, Penta retained the title after delivering a Mexican Destroyer. Following the match, he announced plans to defend the championship in a Ladder Match at WrestleMania 42.
Later in the show, Seth Rollins returned after being medically cleared and immediately attacked Paul Heyman. The situation escalated when Gunther appeared, putting Rollins to sleep with a sleeper hold and signalling a WrestleMania showdown between the two.
In singles action, Raquel Rodriguez defeated Iyo Sky after outside distractions from Asuka and Kairi Sane created an opening for Rodriguez to deliver the Texana Bomb.
The show closed with a heated confrontation between Roman Reigns and CM Punk. What began as a verbal exchange quickly turned physical, spilling to ringside as officials struggled to regain control. Punk ultimately stood tall, delivering a GTS and powerbombing Reigns through the announce desk to end the night.
