A chaotic night on WWE Raw saw multiple rivalries intensify and key matches take shape for WrestleMania 42, with several top stars leaving their mark before the show went off the air.
The March 23 episode of WWE Raw featured a mix of decisive victories, outside interference, and escalating confrontations across both the men’s and women’s divisions.
Brock Lesnar opened the show alongside Paul Heyman, who dismissed Oba Femi as overhyped before Femi interrupted and stood his ground. The brief confrontation turned physical, with Femi managing to send Lesnar out of the ring in a statement moment.
In tag team action, The Vision’s Austin Theory and Logan Paul defeated Jey Uso and Jimmy Uso via disqualification after Jey struck Theory with brass knuckles. The match saw interference from LA Knight, who prevented Paul from using the weapon before the situation spiralled out of control.
Je’Von Evans picked up a notable singles win over Grayson Waller, overcoming sustained offence to secure the victory with the OG Cutter.
In the women’s division, Bayley and Lyra Valkyria defeated The Kabuki Warriors after Valkyria pinned Kairi Sane, continuing their momentum as the tag team picture develops. Tensions also surfaced backstage, with disagreements involving Asuka, Sane, Iyo Sky, and Raquel Rodriguez.
Becky Lynch and AJ Lee engaged in a heated war of words, culminating in Lee confirming she will defend the Women’s Intercontinental Championship against Lynch at WrestleMania 42. “I’ve walked you like a dog every time we’ve stepped in the ring,” Lee said, as Lynch warned she had fallen into a trap.
The WWE Intercontinental Championship was also on the line, with Penta retaining against Dominik Mysterio. The match was influenced by Finn Balor, whose arrival distracted Dominik, allowing Penta to secure a roll-up victory. Balor continued his assault after the bell, adding further tension within Judgment Day.
Elsewhere, Paul Heyman called out Seth Rollins, leading to a dramatic segment that saw Rollins emerge from the crowd in disguise before attacking Heyman. Rollins was ultimately restrained and taken away by police following the confrontation.
The show closed with CM Punk addressing Roman Reigns and the Anoa’i family, drawing out Jey Uso, Jimmy Uso, and eventually Reigns himself. The situation quickly broke down into a brawl, with Reigns standing tall after delivering a spear to Punk and powerbombing him through the announce desk.
With WrestleMania 42 approaching, Raw continued to build momentum with several key rivalries reaching new levels of intensity.
