WWE Raw rolled into Indianapolis on March 2 with the fallout from Elimination Chamber dominating the night and WrestleMania 42 looming large. A new Intercontinental Champion was crowned, Seth Rollins struck in chaotic fashion, and CM Punk and Roman Reigns delivered a closing confrontation that left the Gainbridge Fieldhouse stunned.
Last night’s show opened with Logan Paul, Austin Theory, and Paul Heyman addressing the crowd, with Heyman promising retribution against Seth Rollins for costing Paul the Men’s Elimination Chamber match. Adam Pearce attempted to calm the situation, noting that Rollins was not medically cleared, but the segment descended into chaos as multiple masked men stormed ringside. Rollins ultimately revealed himself as the mastermind, blasting Heyman with a steel chair and delivering a Curb Stomp. Later, as Heyman was being loaded into an ambulance, Jimmy Uso attacked Theory while LA Knight drove the vehicle away.
In the first match of the night, Gunther defeated Dragon Lee. The two brawled before the bell and continued an intense battle once the match officially began. Gunther targeted Lee’s back and eventually tore at his mask before forcing him to submit with a sleeper hold. Gunther refused to release the hold after the bell until officials intervened.
Backstage, Asuka confronted Kairi Sane over her failing to qualify for the Women’s Elimination Chamber, shoving her before storming off. AJ Lee later checked on Sane before heading to the ring. The new Women’s Intercontinental Champion reflected on her victory over Becky Lynch and issued an open challenge ahead of WrestleMania 42, declaring her intention to be a fighting champion.
OG El Grande Americano then defeated Rayo Americano in a fast-paced contest. Despite interference from Bravo Americano, OG El Grande Americano rallied and secured the win with a rolling German suplex.
Rusev later called out Oba Femi, leading to a physical confrontation. Femi stood tall after delivering a double chokeslam and sending Rusev to the floor.
Jimmy Uso defeated Austin Theory via disqualification after Logan Paul interfered. The post-match assault was halted when Jey Uso returned, using his crutch as a weapon before The Usos delivered 1D to Theory.
A backstage segment saw Danhausen present a list of humorous demands to Adam Pearce before crossing paths with Judgment Day and cursing Dominik Mysterio.
Rhea Ripley and Iyo Sky addressed the crowd in an emotional segment following their Women’s Tag Team Title loss. Sky pledged her support for Ripley’s WrestleMania 42 challenge against Jade Cargill, effectively signalling the end of their tag team run as Ripley turned her full focus to the Women’s Championship.
In the main event, Penta defeated Dominik Mysterio to win the Intercontinental Championship. Despite interference attempts from Judgment Day and Dominik’s efforts to unmask him, Penta countered a 619 and connected with a Mexican Destroyer to capture the title.
Roman Reigns closed the show by demanding to be acknowledged, only for World Heavyweight Champion CM Punk to interrupt. The two exchanged heated verbal shots, with Punk claiming he already held the mental edge heading into WrestleMania 42. Reigns admitted he hated Punk and dismissed his return as a business move. The confrontation ended in shocking fashion as Punk told Reigns he would bury him next to his late father, bringing Raw to a dramatic and controversial close.
