WWE Raw continued the build towards WrestleMania 42 with a packed episode featuring multiple title matches, a major return, and a heated confrontation between Roman Reigns and CM Punk to close the show.
Seth Rollins opened last night’s broadcast surrounded by masked allies, declaring his intent to dismantle “The Vision” and everyone associated with it, including Paul Heyman, Logan Paul, and Austin Theory. Heyman appeared on the stage and exchanged words with Rollins, but the segment quickly descended into chaos when Brock Lesnar made his return. Lesnar stormed the ring and laid out Rollins’ masked men before Oba Femi arrived and dropped Lesnar with Fall From Grace, standing tall and pointing to the WrestleMania sign.
In the opening match, Ludwig Kaiser, competing as El Grande Americano, defeated Chad Gable, competing as OG El Grande Americano, following outside interference. A piece of metal inserted into Kaiser’s mask backfired on Gable during a diving headbutt attempt, allowing Kaiser to capitalise for the win.
AJ Lee successfully retained the WWE Women’s Intercontinental Championship against Bayley in a competitive contest. Bayley came close after hitting the Bayley-to-Belly, but Lee countered with the Black Widow submission to force the tap out. Becky Lynch attacked Lee after the match, venting her frustration following her recent title loss.
Penta also retained his WWE Intercontinental Championship, defeating Dragon Lee in a fast-paced bout. Dragon Lee nearly secured the win after hitting a Styles Clash, but Penta recovered and finished the match with a Mexican Destroyer. The champion showed respect after the match, helping Dragon Lee to his feet.
Elsewhere, Nattie defeated Maxxine Dupri via submission, locking in the Sharpshooter after weathering an energetic performance from Dupri.
Stephanie Vaquer picked up a notable victory over Raquel Rodriguez in a match that saw interference from Liv Morgan. Iyo Sky evened the odds, leading to a chaotic closing sequence in which Vaquer countered a Texana Bomb attempt for a pinfall victory.
Backstage, Liv Morgan issued a message confirming she had long planned to remove Finn Balor from Judgment Day, while Paul Heyman was seen speaking with Logan Paul and Austin Theory about positioning themselves back into the tag team title picture. Kofi Kingston also attempted to recruit Je’Von Evans into The New Day, but was turned down, while Danhausen’s offer to join was also rejected.
The show concluded with Roman Reigns addressing the crowd before calling out CM Punk. The two engaged in a tense verbal exchange ahead of their WrestleMania 42 clash, trading personal insults and questioning each other’s credentials. The confrontation turned physical when Punk struck Reigns with a microphone, forcing officials to intervene and separate the two.
With major returns, title defences, and escalating rivalries, Raw further intensified the road to WrestleMania 42.
