WWE Raw on February 16 pushed several key storylines forward on the road to Elimination Chamber, with two qualifying matches, a chaotic six-man match, and another appearance from the mysterious masked attacker.
Last night’s show opened with The Usos making their way through the crowd before being interrupted by The Vision. Paul Heyman attempted to address the Memphis audience, but was drowned out by boos. Logan Paul demanded the fans quiet down as footage aired of the masked attacker costing Austin Theory a recent opportunity.
Adam Pearce soon appeared, but LA Knight interrupted and proposed a six-man tag team match, teaming with The Usos against The Vision. Pearce made the match official, setting the tone for a physical opening contest.
The match quickly broke down into a hard-fought battle, with LA Knight absorbing much of the punishment from Theory, Paul and Bronson Reed. After a long stretch on the defensive, Knight finally tagged in Jey Uso, who ignited the crowd with a flurry of offence. The action soon spilled outside, where Reed crashed through the barricade with Knight.
Back in the ring, The Usos hit the 1-D on Logan Paul, but Reed broke up the pin. He then wiped out Jey on the outside, tagged himself in, and delivered the Tsunami to secure the victory for The Vision.
After the match, Paul grabbed Michael Cole’s headset and got in his face at ringside. The masked attacker suddenly appeared from the crowd and planted Paul with a Curb Stomp before escaping as Theory and Reed gave chase.
The first Elimination Chamber qualifier of the night saw Asuka face Bayley and Nattie. All three women traded submissions and near falls in a competitive triple threat, with Nattie briefly locking in the Sharpshooter. Bayley broke it up, but moments later, Asuka trapped Bayley in the Asuka Lock. With nowhere to go, Bayley tapped out, sending Asuka to the Chamber. The aftermath saw Maxxine Dupri attack Natalya on the entrance ramp before officials separated them.
Elsewhere, Penta defeated El Grande Americano to become the number one contender to the Intercontinental Championship. The match featured heavy interference from Americano’s allies, but the original El Grande Americano appeared from under the ring and cleared the area, allowing Penta to hit a springboard Mexican Destroyer for the win.
AJ Lee also addressed the crowd, reflecting on her return and her upcoming Women’s Intercontinental Championship match against Becky Lynch, which will be her first singles bout in a decade. Lynch interrupted and mocked Lee’s comeback, suggesting the title match would be her farewell. Lee invited her into the ring for a fight, but Lynch refused, saying she does not fight in Memphis before walking away.
The main event featured Dominik Mysterio, Gunther and Je’Von Evans battling for the final Elimination Chamber spot of the night. Gunther controlled much of the match with his power, while Evans used speed to stay in the fight. Dominik attempted to steal the win using a ring bell hammer, but outside interference backfired.
In the closing moments, Dominik went for a Frog Splash, but Evans avoided the impact and delivered the OG Cutter to score the victory and secure his place inside the Elimination Chamber.
