WWE Raw featured major developments ahead of Saturday Night’s Main Event, including a strong message from Gunther, multiple title implications and another dominant night for The Vision.
Gunther opened the show by addressing John Cena ahead of their match this weekend, calling Cena the greatest sports entertainer of all time but promising to break him in his final outing. A recap of last week’s Women’s Tag Team Title chaos followed.
Iyo Sky defeated Kairi Sane in the night’s first match. With Rhea Ripley, Asuka and Kairi all involved at ringside, distractions mounted until Sky connected with Over The Moonsault for the win. Elsewhere, Logan Paul pushed The Vision to continue targeting Rey Mysterio, with Paul Heyman approving the alliance.
A scheduled match between Mysterio and Finn Balor never began, as Paul attacked Mysterio before the bell. The masked man struck again, leading to LA Knight running out for the save.
AJ Styles and Dragon Lee retained the WWE Tag Team Titles against The War Raiders in a fast-paced match that saw Styles finish Ivar with the Phenomenal Forearm. Afterwards, New Day confronted the champions, only for the Usos to make a surprise return and declare themselves back in the division.
Stephanie Vaquer vowed to take on all challengers until Nikki Bella interrupted to demand a rematch, but Raquel Rodriguez attacked Bella and announced her own title intentions. Roxanne Perez later defeated Lyra Valkyria with Pop Rox after Liv Morgan accidentally assisted the finish.
Logan Paul defeated LA Knight in the main event after interference from the masked man led to Paul hitting the frog splash. The Vision then destroyed Knight with a Super Spear and multiple Tsunamis.
Bron Breakker closed the show by calling out CM Punk, demanding the “old Punk” return for their World Title match next month. Backstage, The Vision attacked Knight again, powerbombing him through a table and onto a car before another Tsunami ended the night.
